Dr Bloch and his staff were really great to work with. Our son was 9 years when he started and we heard about Dr Bloch from a family friend who highly recommended the program. JR was falling behind in his reading in 4th grade and really hating school. He just didnt like reading or writing, and it reflected in his ability to keep up in school. It turns out his eyes were not tracking the words correctly, and thus, he would be skipping words altogether. In addition, his eyes were tiring quickly when he had to read homework or do reading at home. All that was remedied with exercises and tools Dr Bloch rolled out for us.Once we started with Dr Bloch within the first couple of weeks we really started to see some tangible results. JR was starting to decipher words that he didnt know, rather than just guess the word like he was doing for some time. His stamina got greater and greater each week. He was yawning in the first 5 minutes of reading like he used to. His eyes got stronger. The interactive software made doing exercises at home fun, like he was playing video games. We put in about 30 minutes each day, and the progress started to really happen. When JR started he was reading at about a 2nd grade level, and after the program he was reading at over 5th grade level. In some testing he was reading at high school levels. One thing I will say is that to get the most out of the program, consistency at home really propels the results along.I would highly recommend Dr Bloch to any parent out there that feels the helplessness when it comes to get your child to read and excel at school.

Reading Without Limits has been a positive experience for my daughter. Prior to enrolling in the program, reading would often end in tears and compete frustration. My daughter has severe dyslexia and has continued to make progress throughout the entire program. Before starting the program, she could not read more than a one syllable word. Now she is able to use all the anchors, both long and short, taught to her by Dr. Bloch. She is reading words with multiple syllables, that I feared she would never be able to read. Dr. Bloch taught her how to read in a way that worked for her brain and the way kids with dyslexia see and process information. The biggest benefit is that now she is reading close to grade level, can read an entire story, and can recognize words she never knew before. Her confidence has improved significantly. I would recommend this program to anyone who has a child who is struggling with reading or has other confidence issues with reading. The best part is, reading is no longer ending in tears and she is motivated to read!!! We are so grateful for this program.

Gore Vidal once said Great readers are as rare as great writers.I worked in Education and Training and was the Senior Education Consultant for the USA at the worlds largest Education company. My specialty was kids and adults who have fallen behind for some reason and we dont want them to become left behind. I was well known in California for free seminars at the request of local literacy societies and libraries on Information Design and reading skills for native language learners and 2nd language learners.Dr. Blochs tools and processes are easily one of the three best programs Ive ever seen in North America. Both my kids had been top of their classes through preschool and elementary school. Suddenly in middle school, and much moreso in high school, both my kids were taking all day and half the night to do homework and even then sometimes not finishing. Honors classes are largely populated with busy work and excessive homework. Although that model is no longer considered sound by educational theorists and scientists, most high schools still cling to the practice of burying kids in busy work and homework to see who can handle the paper pushing. My kids fell so far behind they had to drop out of honors classes.Dr. Bloch explained why; Both my kids needed to retrain their brains to process reading. One of my kids was at a reading proficiency of 1st grade! The other was at 3rd grade. This was heartbreaking for me to learn because both my kids were working super hard to barely keep up.I was skeptical at first but after Dr. Bloch showed and explained his testing and assessments to me I was convinced he was using science on all this.We got both kids on Dr. Blochs program over this last summer and within six weeks or so (and before school started) both were at grade level or above. School has started and both are back in honors classes and keeping up without problems!Dr. Bloch has also given us a path for continuing his program so my kids can reach their full potential. And shouldnt that be the goal now with everything in college and increasingly in life requiring great reading skills as the foundation? Both my kids are feeling better about themselves too. So much pressure is placed on kids today to do well in school that failure can cause all sorts of problems. As a professional and as a parent I easily give Dr. Bloch and his program my highest recommendation. Ive worked with esteemed Developmental Optometrists and none have come close to Dr. Bloch. My kids are on their way to being great readers!Thank you Dr. Bloch.

Reading Without Limits has made a significant impact of my son’s reading and overall eye function. My 10 year old son has been diagnosed with ADHD and tested for dyslexia with inconclusive results. After struggling academically for years, my son was diagnosed with convergence insufficiency and began eye therapy. The eye therapy helped somewhat but I noticed my son still seemed to struggle with any classroom tasks that required eye scanning, comprehension, and focus. He was re-tested after a month of the program and he had already made substantial progress with eye mechanical function and words per minute read. The program is engaging and the exercises are more like “games,” which encouraged participation. Overall, the program improved my son’s reading speed, fluency, and comprehension from 1st-2nd grade to middle school level. He is more confident and much more willing to read for school and enjoyment. Completing the program was well worth it and I highly recommend it to other parents!
