Antonio did a great job with both cut and beard shape- super friendly and careful about every detail. Didnt try to upsell some random products I dont use and just made for a very pleasant interaction from start to finish. One of the best barber experiences Ive had in a long time. If we lived locally Id be in regularly but regardless I definitely appreciated being able to schedule an online appointment as an out of towner! Highly recommend.

Took my son here for his 1st haircut. HJ was so good with him even though he cried the whole time. I will be taking both of my boys here. Wish they had a 1st hair cut certificate but I did get a lock of hair to keep. Everyone was super understanding with my not so happy child.

Corey is awesome. I haven’t been able to get a haircut that looked good on me since I moved to Carlisle. Corey is a perfectionist and I got the best haircut I’ve had in years. Awesome fade skills. Grace cut my son’s long hair and got it ready for donation and he looks awesome too. He’s 13 and hates everything and he loves his haircut. Definitely recommend and will be going back there for all my haircuts in the future.

HJ Barbership is a much needed addition to downtown Carlisle. While there are many barbershops in town, there aren’t any barbershops as style conscious and trendy as HJ. If you want your hair whacked off in 15 minutes, this is not your place. If you want a detailed, finely crafted haircut for a marginally higher price then this is the place to go. Worth the little bit of extra money. The free beer is also a plus ✅
