I called about my edd extension, the man was really nice, I didn’t even wait one minute before he answered. I was transferred over to another department and I waited maybe 2 minutes. My problem was addressed in under 10 minutes.I guess I’m one of the lucky ones because I didn’t have to wait hours.
I wasnt able to get inside. ...and the guard said they were out until September some time...Great Guard Patrol..very helpful....

EDD ended my pandemics relief benefits. I called, emailed and wrote 2 letters trying to extend my benefits and I never received a response. However, when the pandemic relief program ended, I received 1 text and 3 email messages telling me that I no longer qualified for unemployment benefits. EDD did not give me the support I need through the pandemic.
The place is locked up.THERE. is no current ACCURATE HOURS LISTED. There was a guard at the door. This guy did not speak a word of English so Its impossible to gain any information about hour or updated informationBOO EDD!
What is the point of having this office open of the people refuse to help. Since March this place has been ignoring phone calls and ignoring people that have shown up to the location to get in contact with the EDD call center. There are people that are currently relying on their benefits and these people just don’t care.

Have been trying to call EDD for the last 2 weeks cuz Ive been trying to get my EDD account taking care of for the last month and a week and yet there is like nobody available being continuously disconnected have not talked to anybody because nobody is answering the phones nobody is answering questions its theres nobody there
Quiet as a tomb. Provides no services. Overhead an employee giving a customer a hard time 1) for asking a question and 2) overheard a conversation one employee was having over the phone demanding payment from someone who they had apparently overpaid. Should save taxpayers dollars by closing it down and design a system instead that helps increase employment manned by people actually interested in serving the public.
Ernestina made me a priority. Because of her, my family will be able to eat. My husband had clarified for over 6 weeks of unemployment without receiving a single check for them. After explaining the situation to Ernestina, she assured me that she would do everything she can to figure out what was wrong and call me back as soon as possible. After about 30 minutes, I received a call from this angel saying his weeks have been approved and we should be receiving a check soon. Thank you so much Ernestina,I appreciate you so much.PS: being polite and understanding on the phone can go a long way. The people working in the unemployment field are struggling too, try to empathize with them instead of demanding immediate service.
I hope that John from this office reads my review. We are all going through our own struggles with COVID-19 and I understand that federal or county offices have been having to deal with a huuuuuge amount of overloaded work and when you finally are able to reach them people are grumpy and rude. Nonetheless I was completely at my wits end and I needed to get ahold of EDD so I called this office seeing if they would be able to help. John answered my call and I explained my on-going dilemma Ive been in with trying to receive my benefits and he told me he would talk to his manager and get back to me within 72 hours. At this point I completely did not believe him but I agreed and hung up. Well within 48hrs he was able to get approval and connect to EDD. Given I had to wait 2 hours on hold but that doesnt even matter. I finally was able to get everything sorted out and my daughter and I are not going to starve nor will we be without toiletries all thanks to the follow thru from him. Thank you so much John from the bottom of my heart. You truly have made a huge impact in my life amid this COVID-19.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Said they could help, set me up with a direct line on the phone. Waited 45 minutes on hold and then the call ended. NEVER go on Unemployment, they will give you 0 help and do nothing.

There was one guy and a security guard in the building. Doors locked and the hid when they saw me and when i called multiple times the call was answered and i was hung up on multiple times.
Experiences may vary but the person I had been getting help there was very helpful and always nice to me.

EDD is great. Excellent programs and support. Its really been there. (Just dont sign up for the W.I.O.A. program. I did and was assigned with the WIOA rep at Cabrillo College. Cabrillo is awesome! But WIOA and the rep at Cabrillo are frustrating and a complete waist of time.) So happy with EDD. Glad that I live in such a great nation that is able to support its people when in need! Thanks, EDD.

Terrible service I was at this office today and I witnessed how an employee humiliated a customer, so sad to watch the customer only had a simple question and this lady dismissed the customer in such a rude way.
