Cant put up enough stars. 10 stars. We rented bikes, scooters, boards... THIS PLACE IS GREAT. Great service, great prices. It was like they went out of their way to make our vacation the best it could be. I wont try and haul my gear all the way from Texas next time. I will reserve everything I need from them and pack light. They have ALL my future business!!!
My group had an awesome time kayaking at the 1000 islands by cocoa beach. This was definitely the highlight of our vacation, Dave was very helpful, and set us up for a perfect adventure! I highly recommend using A1A for kayak rentals, best service and definitely worth the price !
Shay and the gang ROCK! I am a local who due to circumstances, lost my vehicle. My transportation is my bicycle, which slowly decayed. Lady working the shop that day was so sweet! Her driver called out that day but she was still willing to deliver 2 kayaks to us. We rented for a half day and had fun. Saw a bunch of huge pelicans, cranes, an osprey and even a dolphin kept surfacing near us. Unfortunately no manatees. Still a good time!
Shay was amazing!!!! She let me know all the Beach spots that were close and how to drop off my equipment. The other employee loaded our things. I will go again in the future. Dont go through Westgate.
I did an online reservation a few days in advance from Colorado for 2 fishing poles, and added the optional braided line in the comment section. Day of we showed up to pick up the poles and it was such great customer service. Equipment was in great shape, and very high quality for the rental price. Staff was very friendly and fast. 5 star service will definitely return and recommend!
A1A Beach rentals has deceptive wording on their website. The website contains the following wording: “Sunseeker Resort ComboIncludes: -Two Full length adjustable chaise loungers -One 7.5′ Sunbrella resort umbrella, installed. -All labor for set-up and take down daily $45/day 15% Gratuity Added to all Full Setups. Please call before booking to be sure that we can service your resort.”I emailed them the week before our trip was scheduled, and was told that they delivered to our address. I then called two days later in order to make a reservation. I explained to the lady that answered the phone where we were staying, and told her that I wanted the resort combo. She gave me a rate for three days of a little over $100. I gave her my credit card and the deal was done. I then realized that I was not charged enough, and figured that I was charged for the lesser package which only included delivery. I called back and she said that she had indeed only charged me for the lesser package that included delivery but not set up and take down. She then added the extra charge to my credit card. On the day of delivery, they did not arrive until after 11 o’clock in the morning. It was a gentleman who had two chairs and an umbrella on a beach cart. He told me that it was not his job to set up the umbrella on the beach, that he only delivered. I called the telephone number for A1A Beach rentals, and they proceeded to tell me that they had made it clear on the phone that I would not get set up and take down services because of where I was staying. This is simply not the case. They never told me that. If that were the case, why would they charge my credit card the extra fee for the extra service?I refused the chairs and umbrella on the cart, and requested a refund. An hour or so later, I checked my messages, and had a text message from A1A Beach rentals with a copy of a refund receipt for the original hundred dollars. When I called to request a refund of the secondary charge, I was told that it had already been refunded and that the photo of the receipt must not have come through. A few minutes after our phone call ended, I received a text message with a photo of the second refund receipt. The timestamp on the second receipt proved that the receipt was generated after the time of our phone call, even though I was told that the refund has already been done.I was not happy with the service nor the attitude of this company, and I would never seek to do business with them again.
Do not rent the fishing poles. The line is mono and so extremely thin. Husband took it back and showed them the frays in the line and told them how often they should be replacing it. Said they don’t do refunds. Only used for about an hour before taking it back. Ended up just leaving with no refund after purchasing for all day. Hopefully they will replace the lines, current lines are absolutely useless.
We visited Cocoa beach for a day trip on my daughters 8th birthday. A1A beach rentals had everything we needed for a perfect day at the beach. I purchased the Family combo and when I got there, I noticed I didnt need everything. They easily adjusted what I need and even helped me pack it in my small rental car. Staff was inviting and answered all my questions.
We had a great kayak tour with John. Our group was paired with two other groups. John and his co-guide did a great job handling the different ability levels with a large group. We were able to see some manatees up close and we enjoyed being able to have a longer tour and being flexible. 5 starts would definitely take a tour with John again!
The staff was really nice, but where they put us in the water was very disappointing. I had been sooo looking forward to seeing wild life. This area only had birds and green murky water. I am very disappointed with this outcome.

Great service, delivery and pick up! We have used them a few times on trips to Cocoa Beach and will certainly use them again on future trips there - no hesitations. The bikes were great for beach and riding around town!

2 day rental of 2 beach cruisers. Delivered AND picked up, exactly on time both times, for a very reasonable price. Bikes were in great condition. Had so much fun riding around town, way better than driving and parking. Would highly recommend.

Called them and less than 30 min later Dave Showed up and gave me my gear. He was amazing person. The gear came with a table/dolly and the chairs and umbrella worked perfectly. I will definitely use the service again. I called to turn in and by the time I was packed Dave was there waiting to retrieve my gear. Amazing!
This place was amazing. We rented beach chairs and an umbrella for the day. We gave them a call and they delivered everything right to us. The chairs and umbrella were new and very nice. The service was GREAT!
Came by later in the day, selection of bikes were limited, but the service and special attention to help us get the local scoop on where to bike was awesome. Thanks for providing us the means to explore Coco Beach!
We walked to one tiki hut they had and we were about 1 minute away from them and they stated we couldn’t buy umbrellas from them. They made us walk to the other side of the beach. Then when we went to drop them off at 9am (opening time) no one was available. We had to wait 30 minutes because someone showed up late for work. RIDICULOUS !

We made our reservations for a boat a few days before and it went well. Come the day of the boat rental we called to let them know that we would be running late and the worker David answered. We told him about it and he said we needed to call the people who owned the boat but we didn’t have the number so he said he would send it to us. A few minutes pass and no text so we called again and we told him we didn’t receive the text, he rudely started to tell us that we were at the wrong place and had inappropriate language. We called again because we made sure that we were definitely calling the right place but he wasn’t having it and kept with the same rude attitude. So we arrive at the place and he was the one at the desk and as soon as we told him that we were the one who called he rolled his eyes. We showed him the receipt that we paid and he started looking for our ticket. Apparently the reservation was never made even though they had processed our ticket. We cancelled the boat and got a refund. Overall a bad experience and poor management of the situation.
I rented a bike from A1A Beach Rentals and Outdoor Center this past Monday. During my ride I had a bolt fall out which made it unable to pedal. I called them and within 15 minutes a new rental was delivered to me. It was great to have them respond so quickly and I will rent from them again should the need arise.
A1A beach rentals has AMAZING service!!!! There was a bit of a mishap and when i needed to keep my rentals a bit longer they allowed me to do so. My trip is complete after this, thank you A1A rentals and outdoor!!
