They did a good job installing our well, and a neighbours well, on the same day. There wasnt enough dirt to fill in around the well at the time, but they came back to level it off and its looking much better than what we had before.

We had an egress window placed by Superior Glass and Block. The whole experience was excellent from the responsiveness office staff to the crew the day of. We had an egress window installed last month...my wife and I absolutely love it. The window is in a part of our basement where our son is doing ‘virtual school’ during the day, and it has really transformed the space (he can now see outside, watch birds at the feeders, etc). We havent had the window open yet due to being winter time; however, when I have opened it, the breeze from outside rushes in - - very excited for warmer months when we can get some fresh air in the basement. Kurt and his crew did a great job from start to finish...very professional, clean, and detail oriented! Passed the City inspection no problem. Also, price was very competitive.

We had our basement egress installed in July and it is beautiful. We went with the rock wall and we love it! Great value all around. The installers are efficient, hard working and great problem solvers. We had a few barriers to work around during our install, and Kurt and his team figured out a way to get the job done. Today we had the Canton city inspection and all went well. Kurt and Superior glass block is well known by the city and the inspector agreed that Kurt always does an excellent job installing egress windows. I called this company for installation of a door glass block and two window glass block. The location is in Inkster, I was told I could call a Melvindale company because they only Service, Westland, Canton, Garden City and Plymouth. Imagine that

Owner, Kurt and his 3-man crew showed up around 9:15am just as expected. They installed an egress window (also finished off the window inside), replaced a basement block glass window and trenched and installed a pop-up gutter drain. They had completed their work and cleaned up by 5:30!! I cant say enough about this team. Their finished work exceeded my expectations!! They laid drop clothes through the house, down the basement stairs and across the basement for the egress window installation. With all the rain we have been having, and all the mud around the construction area, I was concerned that my white basement carpet would need professional cleaning once the work was completed. Kurt assured me I had nothing to worry about and he stayed true to his word! The installation team was friendly, courteous, professional and above all, delivered a superior finished product!!

This is a wonderful company to work with. Jake and his crew arrived as scheduled. They got the old basement windows out and new installed very quickly. Clean up looks better than when they arrived. Highly recommend them.

To counter-argue the one star review: It is true that they will not travel too far. I live downriver and they were not willing to service my area, however, the woman on the phone was very kind and provided me with the name and contact of a reputable glass block service in the downriver area. She also still provided me with a rough estimate cost over the phone, which was helpful with my analysis. I cannot comment on their actual work, but their customer service was great, in my opinion!

I wanted an Egress window installed but didnt know who could do the work. I found Superior Glass Block and More on the internet. I called and Klye answered. He was great. Kyle took the time to answer all of my questions. Gave me a rough estimate on what the job would cost and reserved an installation date. Then he set me up with an appointment to have someone come out and look at the job. Kurt the owner came out he was about 15 min early for our appointment. He explained the job and recommend the best set up for my application. I told him to please go ahead with the job so he filled out the paperwork refuse to take any money up front gave me the final price and left. Well today was my installation date they showed up friendly and ready to work. Kurt and Jake made sure no mess was left behind and all work was done to perfection. After waiting a month for my appointment to have an egress window installed in December in a house I’d just bought, they cancelled on the day they were to arrive and gave an unconfirmed date 4 weeks later. I needed the job finished (along with a complete renovation) completed before I had a trip overseas.I prepaid and they refunded me the whole amount after they couldn’t complete the job as planned. I had to do the job myself to have it done in time.The owner called me weeks later saying we are coming today even though I’d cancelled and received a full refund and no date was confirmed.In retaliation that I wasn’t going to wait around for their large delays and inability to confirm another date, these guys trespassed on my property, saw I had done the window myself and then had the cheek to report it to the City.These guys were hard to deal with even before any of this happened, they are rude, unreliable and absolutely disgraceful that they need to report someone after they couldn’t do the job themselves as agreed.I do not recommend anyone use this company. Buyer beware

Had two egress windows installed over a one year period. On both occasions the staff and owner, Kurt, were very professional and knowledgeable! I even referred them to my in-laws to fix a poorly installed egress window-well.

I had them install my egress escape from my basement and it looks so nice & gives my basement a ton of light. Kurt was very informational and his crew was very respectful, Kyle was fantastic with coordinating everything, I’d recommend them to anyone.

Update 2020/2021:The good: the blocks they installed look good from the outside and have held up well. Speedy work.The bad: I have poured concrete walls and they had to chisel the windows out. The material and workmanship to repair the (inevitable) broken window edges looked rounded and uneven because they used their hands to shape the corners and edges. Why not use flat tools? They wanted to make sure I was happy before leaving, but after coming back and spending more time on it, I didn’t have the heart to say it still looked subpar.The ugly: CARBON MONOXIDE. The blocks basically sealed my basement too well and it has had carbon monoxide issues ever since. I need to change out at least one window of blocks for ventilation safety reasons, but they won’t work me into their schedule for the next year... not okay.

The day of installation went fairly well. Their team was efficient and friendly. The challenge for us was their policy on irrigation lines. While installing our window, they broke one of our irrigation lines. When I asked them about paying for the damage that they had done, they pointed me to a statement in the final invoice that says they arent responsible when their work breaks an irrigation line. Now a couple months later, weve had to do multiple repairs to the irrigation system costing us $500. Good installers of windows, bad decision makers on company policies.

Their egress window leaked like sieve and flooded/destroyed my entire basement with the rains three days ago. They are refusing to clean up and repair or cover the damage.
