Rebecca Haffner not only had to be corrected in court on several occasions she feels she can state false and defamatory statements in legal recording to gain signatures and then contact me outside of attorneys and the Judge to try and get my signature. Rebecca Haffner is not a Board Certified Neuropsychologist, however if she needs a referral I can get a couple for her. She is wreckless and unethical and her behavior is disgusting. I want her held responsible. I also find it odd that she used Judge Sumner directly to file an order against her own husband for domestic violence. If she cant fill out my paperwork ethically or with accurate information maybe she has a credibility issue and should not be easily accessible to filing orders. Apparently stalking police officers are a joke in court but she posts a badge on her mouth (not sure what she was advertising, maybe she wanted an upgrade from Publix) all the while continuing to text my phone when warned by attorneys to have contact only through them. I think she has an issue with misconduct.

I’ve been calling nonstop and cannot get anyone to answer. I’ve been sent to voicemail by every number. Sometimes it rings through other times it goes straight to voicemail. Considering the pandemic and not being able to go up to the office this is ridiculous... the numbers that do answer you can’t talk to a live person. Absolutely irritating. I’d sit on hold for however long it took until someone has the time to reach me but I don’t even have that option... I know so many people with the same issues from all different offices even before coronavirus.

I renewed on time with no changes. My benefits were approved when I call or look at the website it says approved and I should receive benefits. But I don’t get them, after two months and going once a week they keep telling me it’s because my case worker hasn’t processed my application and I have to wait on her. She NEVER calls me or answers. The last time I went a got a typed letter stating that this was my fourth time and to bring that with me. That was two weeks ago, no call, and now with the virus going on they are closed. Why am I going through this if I did my part and they have everything. I do t understand why she doesn’t call me or process my stuff so I can receive benefits. This is crazy and very disappointing. They keep saying they tell her and her manager and yet we have nothing. I can’t even get anyone on the phone or in person now so I guess we we will be without until they open and send me home again with a letter saying I came in.... this office is ridiculous

The state system has some flaws. But this office has greatly improved over the last 2 years. There are some new people in the office. They are pleasant and very helpful. I also like that they put their names on the desk. Years ago you used to be able to call your caseworker, and could see them in person. It is no longer that way. Something has changed in the office, and it is a great change.

They steal children for money and make up lies out of thin air to keep them... KIDS FOR CASH. Nothing more needs to be said.

A family member has filed for Medicaid several times just in the last year! Every. Single. Time she tries to see what the status is, they have nothing on file for her or her son! No letters. No emails. No phone calls. Inexcusable!!! I pray this most recent filing doesnt get LOST LOST LIKE THE OTHER APPLICATIONS. Filing has been done in office and online too.

This place has the worst staff in it and they always mess your case up when there not suppose to. They go in when they do ur renewal and put atuff down you dont even put on there and there rude!!!! When i lived in alabama they were so much more organized and had a better staff that answered your calls and everything. Yes they do help us and im so thankful for getting the help i need but they need better people in charge!!!

I have 4 kids. I applied for all 4 kids to have Medicaid. I recieved an approval letter for only 2 of the kids. One of them got Medicaid the other got peach care. The other 2 were never put on. They have all been on Medicaid for years. When I call they tell me the case worker will call me back.. after 5 months of repeated calling I still have not heard from the case worker. Finally someone tells me to resubmit the application. I hand delivered the application with all information and a week later I get a call saying I didnt need to resubmit an application that they just need to add the other kids. She told me the person would call me. 3 weeks later, no call and they have not been added. When I call back they say the case worker will call me. After 6 months only half my kids have Medicaid and now one of the kids that didnt get put on has the flu and I cant take her to the dr. This is completely unacceptable! I work full time and so does my husband. Insurance is just not affordable for a family plan.

Literally THE WORST office Ive ever been to. Make up their own rules. I had my benefits in Cobb county Just changed addresses and they denied my disabled son and I for everything without me even getting a meeting with someone..rude people..horrible staff. No help at all

Wish I could give them negative stars !!! I was up for renewal in January. I sent in EVERYTHING to the fax number listed on my renewal letter. Kept my fax confirmation. Waited 45 days and called to check on status. After an hour wait on hold I was told they no longer use the fax or mail renewal I had to log onto an internet portal, create an account and submit everything online. When asked why I was never contacted to let me know this is NOW the way renewals are done all they could say was letters were going to be mailed out shortly. The Supervisor promised I’d have my case expedited and a call back within a week .... of course .... no call back ! So after I sent everything through the portal in March I waited another 45 days, nothing, so I call back and was told I was declined because I applied for myself ! I didn’t. I applied only for my daughter. So I had to resubmit the application. Finally in June I get a letter stating she has benefits. A week later a letter saying she was declined. Then the day after that decline letter I get a coupon book for payments. You have to be able to either take a whole day off work to get things done and make multiple trips or plan to sit on the phone for hours repeating yourself to multiple people who just don’t know how to help !!! I’m sure these people working get great benefits .... but those that need medical insurance, food stamps or monetary assistance in emergencies get the run around and are given such a hard time. For anyone who is suffering from depression or anxiety this whole process could set someone over the edge. No wonder why so many give up. It’s easier to beg in the street than to get help from these people !

This place was such a HUGE difference from the Marietta location.. I will definitely drive this 20mins for my sanity...

They have a little bit of a wait time but the staff is very very helpful very very pleasant. They help you with anything you need and any questions you have!!! They are very knowledgeable. I give Cherokee County a glowing recommendation!!! :-)

This office is run by imbeciles! The staff either needs to be fired, trained properly, or intensely regulated. I dont understand how these incompetent and rude individuals have acquired government positions.

Once I got one the phone..... You you have to press 0 because they try to make life difficult by avoiding human contact..... the woman was very nice and helpful.

Grateful for a country that offers Medicaid and food stamps. Seriously, we are blessed. However, its impossible to reach anyone in this office. JUST GO IN PERSON.

I have had the same exact experience as person Test Test. Its been 4 months & the lady at Cherokee promised someone would call me yesturday since all of our paperwork is nowhere in the peachcare system after following all there steps. I just want my 2 girls to have health insurance but all I get is a run around. This whole system is a joke & needs to be fixed.

Today I had a very unpleasant experience in this place because I requested to speak with a social worker in Spanish to give me advice about my medical insurance application that was denied, I had to ask for it on repeated occasions, while I asked the help the attitude of the person was very rude and she was trying to explain me it but I kept asking her to please call the social worker, she got up from her chair without saying anything and went to look for her, once the Spanish social worker arrived I explained my concern and she did not let me finish explaining she just started telling me why they had denied my case, I told her, also, that I wanted to know if she could help me get a financing facility to control my pregnancy regarding my income or guide me where could I go and she said: WE DO NOT DO THAT HERE!!! I told her that I had been told that a social worker could help me but honestly in this place they do not help. They are professionals been rude people and they really treat you as if you were a nuisance. I felt discrimination and frustration I did nothing but cry, Im pregnant and already letting them know this they treated me super bad. And the worst was that she told me that she only can give me a phone number for a clinic where just ilegal people goes. I was so frustrated and I tell her I’m not an ILEGAL person and I left.The name of the DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES is to big for them. “I have my rights” YEAH OF COURSE!!!

I went to this office the girl at the front was very rude I applied for stamps last month I tried calling the office no one will answer.. They told me it will take 2 weeks for someone to call me to do a phone interview its pass 3 weeks and no call and every time I try to call no one answers.. Im so frustrated can someone please help me this is really ridiculous..

I just need a FORM... just a form . And I can never just get a form ... cause there’s a bunch of people in there’s always . There’s should be a pickup and drop box

I have had a lot of bad expirences with agencies like this but today I was super impressed by how attentive they were to solving customers problems. I was blown away and the customer service here considering it was a dfcs office. Impressive

No American children accepted, they do not qualify for any assistance, they can be in severe need of assistance from Cherokee County Department of Family & Children Service but if you are an American white family, YOU ARE SCREWED...So sick and tired not getting any help because I am an American citizen. Its awful.....UPDATE: I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT I AM A WHITE AMERICAN WOMAN WHOSE CHILDREN NEEDED HELP......

I HAVE FAXED, MAILED, AND PERSONALLY GAVE ALL MY PAPER WORK TO THE LADIES AT THE OFFICE. YET I STILL GET A LETTER SAYING I WAS NOT APPROVED BECAUSE THEY DIDNT GET MY INFORMATION REQUESTED. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR 5 MONTHS. ITS REDICULOUS. AND THE NOTICES I GET TELL ME I HAVE TO A CERTAIN DATE TO COME BACK, AND THE NOTICES ARE SENT 2 DAYS BEFORE THE DATE IS UP. I HATE THIS OFFICE!

If I could give this place anything lower then a one star I would. I dont know how many times Ive been up here asking for help due to me being pregnant and my husband not even making enough. We gave them everything to show proof. We still cant get help. They say wait seven days for a call that takes approximately three weeks to happen with people who dont care at all. This place is the worst.

Ive turned in everything I was asked multiple times, saw them personally make copies, and had things stamped. Im going in tomorrow for the seventh time because I received ANOTHER letter saying they couldnt approve my childrens medicaids because I didnt turn anything in. This is bull! My oldest hasnt had health insurance for months now! They need to get their crap together!!!

Dont take all fact in for children, druggies get kids back we wait on them to get hurt again or die before they look closer into parents.
