I would have taken away a partial star due to the open house experience. The sign was put up several days in advance with no date, just the time. Then was left up for a couple of days after the open house (which was Friday) was over. Amy referred us to Chris.Which was one of the worst experiences I have had with a realtor. Even after listening to our requirements he sent us any house in our price range. I had to do all of the leg work in finding a house worth looking at. After finding a house, Chris would frequently pressure us into making an offer we did not want to make.We finally went under contract for a house. The house failed inspection miserably. But Chris suggested all the issues were minor and tried to get us to over look them to take advantage of some young buyers. Thankfully I reached out to two private contactors to look over the inspection. Which they then warned me to not touch the house with a ten foot pole. Chris even got mad at us for wanting to back out of the house after his poor advice.$1000 wasted in earnest money that I am not getting back because of some horrible guidance. OMG!!!!!!! Where can we start? Chris was such a great agent that he knew EXACTLY what we wanted before we went in each of the homes. My husband was a lot easier to please but boy oh boy, me, I wanted about 100 different things to be happy in our new home. Open floor plan, high ceilings, kitchen open to the living room, large master bedroom, large master bathroom with separate shower and tub, jacuzzi tub, extra space for the family, etc. Chris would walk in and run down everything that we would like, and dislike and he was 100% correct! He was a great listener and knew exactly what we wanted. An example of this was when he sent us the link of the home that we made the offer on. Chris sent us the home. I looked at the pictures and asked to see it. We walked in the house and I said “Chris, what do you think I think about this home?” Chris said EXACTLY what I liked, what was important to my family and everything. He even pointed out something that I had told him in the past that I didn’t care for. We could have sent Chris on a home search alone and he would have picked out the perfect home for us. I felt bad because we would have him looking at all these homes and we would walk out like, NOPE! Chris made us feel so good about looking at these homes. Even though we felt bad like we were wasting his time, he made us feel so good each time like NO, YOU ARE FINE, LET’S SCHEDULE MORE!!!!! For 3-4 days a week for about a month, Chris was part of our lives. We miss spending time with him. We are currently waiting to close. We should be done within the next 2 weeks. We do not know what else to say other than, YOU WON’T FIND A BETTER AGENT THAN CHRIS MULQUEEN!!!!!!!!!!!
