First time there the receptionist was rude and we did not feel welcome at all. Apparently we were 25 minutes late. The night before the appointment we had a card on the front door with a different time than the one originally given. So we were actually 15 minutes early for paperwork.. Receptionist just told us we were late and to hurry up and fill out paperwork.. Now my son is there for depression and anxiety. This initial intro did not help.. The assessment was fine and we were scheduled to come back in 2 days. When we came back, there was no appointment on schedule and again the rude receptionist just said she would email the therapist. My son was alone that time and just sat in waiting area waiting for direction from receptionist. Eventually he left. We will not be going back.

Went there bc I was originally at an agency primary for adolescents and they recommended I seek adult services for the medication they believe would best suit me would have to come from an adult psychiatrist. I still receive counseling (cognitive behavioral therapy) from this agencyI called Coleman to see a psychiatrist, they fought tooth and nail saying “you need to cancel services with your therapist and get one from us” um no I trust my therapist and am comfortable with the progress we are making. They backed down off that bluff and agreed to let me see a doctor.I called them in may of last year, they called me back in august to make an appointment. Meanwhile I’m struggling to hold onto the relationships in my love due to my volatile behavior I’m desperately begging them to fix.Come September 15 doctor mark (they refuse to give last names) calls and I have a decent experience with him; he prescribed me on Valium, and it legitimately fixed my behavioral issues to a degree in which made me turn my life around. I was happy, I enjoyed my friends and family, I wanted to be alive again, life was worth it.Come my second appointment, he tells me he’s quitting... what’s that mean for me? Won’t tell me. Come December, I run out of the medication and wait a call from Coleman, nothing. I begin to acute withdrawal timeline of benzos, I call them. After 3 days of calling I get thought, the nurse who answered the phone, Wendy, couldn’t be a more deplorable human being. She told me I was a drug addict looking to score, that I was cheating their system to get drugs to either sell or take... are you effing serious? I got upset enough to do my research and gain the personal number of the CEO of their medical department. I expressed my concerns about my medication all of a sudden becoming evil instead of helpful and how one of his employees accused me of being a drug distributor, and he told me if I don’t like the way they conduct business then I can take my business elsewhere. Well elsewhere has a 3 month wait, so I agreed to see the b word that replaced mark, briannca p. Totally heartless. I brought my grandmother with me to my appointment just so I could have a witness to their malpractice and she saw. This “doctor” told me all the same things about me being a drug addict and also had the audacity to tell me “we don’t prescribe that here” like oh really? Did mark have superpowers or something to be able to give me that? No. Idk what the hell happened there but if they don’t prescribe that then maybe they shouldn’t have put me on it to start, bc idk if anyone knows of the Ashton method for benzodiazepines but they totally threw that out the window and let me suffer through the seizures and rebound anxiety. These people need prosecuted.

Didn’t even make an appointment because the experience on the phone was awful, which says a lot about the practice. The person who answered the phone acted as if he was being put out. No thanks!!

Rediculous. My fiance is an assault victim, suicidal with past attempts and was seeking help. She was here in the crisis center seeking help. She is also type 1 diabetic. While she was there she she got sick due to her blood sugar. They sent her to the hospital. After the hospital discharged her she had no way to get back to the crisis center. Again, she is an assault victim and afraid of strangers. She had to take a Lyft from the hospital back to the crisis center. When she arrived back she found her things packed up and was told she could not be there without a doctors order for her insulin.Called up on the phone and they wouldnt speak to me without a release on file. Fine. I understand. The woman I spoke to said she did not have an insulin prescription. I laughed and said where do you think we are getting insulin? We arent buying it on the street corner. Novolog pens are $300+ a piece.I am traveling and 800 miles away running my company and trying to work, so how can I help her? What is even worse is she was discharged with this in her bag of belongings. That sure as hell looks like a bundle of insulin pens WITH A SCRIPT IN THE BAG.Absolutely rediculous. These people and this facility arent there to help anyone. What a joke.Even the hospital she was sent to said that this facility does that to people.

Dont go here. Theres nothing in place to protect you from people going there that could be dangerous, they only have the worst time slots availible, and theyll even blame you if they end up not calling when theyre supposed to. Ive been out of medication almost 2 months and I couldnt even get a refill on something that would and did give me micro seizures withdrawling from it

I was in the Coleman Services TIPS work program, they found me a decent temporary job that suited my skill set and I was compensated for my work, HOWEVER, almost every paycheck I received over the course of several months was late. Sometimes it was late by over a week and a half if not more (the pay is bi-weekly). At one point the person in payroll department went on vacation for over a week, their replacement screwed up the payroll and caused another temp. to receive MY funds as well as their own. the error was later corrected but still should never have occurred, it also caused me to become behind on bills and rent. Once i didnt get paid for a month! If thats not enough when my temporary employment ended, Coleman sent TWO temps. from a DIFFERENT work program to become permanent part time employees at the place I had been training for MONTHS in hopes of receiving permanent employment. I was dismissed from the work site and the next week the other two people were hired in my place. How exactly does that help me find employment? while Im still in the program I can no longer work anywhere for them or receive payment OR bus passes provided by the program. My caseworker has been trying to help me locate other positions but all of the most adequate positions require taking a bus just to apply or even to get to an interview.. which they will no longer help me with. The experience I gained was helpful and the pay was decent while it lasted. Overall Id suggest simply working through a regular temp. agency, or better yet, find work on your own because they can be less than helpful at times.

I had an adverse reaction to an antidepressant and had to stop taking it. I called and the nurse that I spoke to was very rude, impatient and acted like it was an annoyance to speak to me. They only got a second star because Mark one of the doctors there was very kind and I felt he genuinely cared about my well-being. A downside to this place is that it is hard to get appointments because they are overwhelmed with medicaid/medicare patients as well as dealing with the opioid epidemic. Be prepared to wait months to see a doctor especially if you have special needs like ADHD or other mental illnesses that require controlled substances to treat.

My husband attempted suicide in April.Thankfully he survived. He was treated at the 10 Lakes Center in Dennison, Oh. The psychiatrist there got him on a medication plan that works extremely well for my husband. He has never been depressed in his life and does not have a history of abusing drugs. He had a very caring intake counselor and currently has a very good counselor. On Friday he was seen by Dr. Chugtai who was supposed to help him. Dr. Chugtai will not prescribe two of the medicines that are WORKING and he told my husband that what he did was bad and he would not be his doctor if he did that again. I have never in my life encountered someone in the mental health field who didnt have compassion for the person suffering from depression until now. I find this abhorrent and hope that measure will be taken to reprimand this unprofessional man.

The coleman center is too big for its own Britches. I was a patient at the crisis center for 8yrs before they closed. I was suggested to continue treatment through coleman and signed a release of information to them. They dont take appointments for intake. I had to wait 3hrs to see someone and when I did my intake I was being forced to either answer questions or leave. They claimed they didnt get my info from crisis center. I broke down and told my whole life story to intake officer. Then they scheduled me an appointment. I went in for the appointment and the doctor was some smug Indian lady who I barely could understand. She asked the same questions intake did. I refused to comply since all of the stupid info they required was on file. She claimed they never received my file. Then she told me she did have the file by telling me what meds Ive been on in the past. So I wouldnt answer the questions and she wouldnt budge so I left. I scheduled another appointment with a different doctor. I missed the appointment by one hour when I overslept. They said they cant take me unless I start all over and come in and wait. Mental health offices are not what they claim to be. Nothing but a bunch of check list marking pretend doctors. Im glad this happened after reading reviews here. Coleman center will never treat me because if their cold, compliance hungry hog wash.

I agree with Beth at the top, 1.5 years ago, i saw Dr. Chugtai for the 1st time. My mother was near death, in fact she died 2 days later. I told him this very thing, he could care less. All he cared about were 2 of the meds i was on, and basically said i shouldnt be taking them. It was horrid, and hes an awful human being. I left and never went back. The last thing i needed at that time was to be withdrawing from certain meds, when i had anxiety and sleep problems long before my mom got sick. Heres to hoping Dr. Chugtai gets crippling anxiety, and cant sleep for a month.
