We have had att for our internet service for many years. Never real happy with the product. Slow internet and several issues with numerous products. However, on 8/27/21 our neighbor installed his att internet. My son is on leave from the Navy after a year-long deployment. All he really wants to do is play his online video games. Kind of decompressing. Somewhere in the process the att tech cut our internet service. My son realized it immediately. My wife went next door and told the tech what he did. He said he didnt do anything and got in his truck and left. He actually installed an internet line above the ground out of the box in our back yard to the neighbors house. I called att customer service when I got home. Earliest they can come back is Monday. My sons leave is only 10 days. Now he cant do anything online as it will be out for at least 4 days. I again contacted customer service on Saturday. Asked for immediate repair service as this was their mistake. I explained all of this again. They did not care. I realize very quickly that ATT APPARENTLY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT MY SONS MILITARY SERVICE. They could not care less about the issue I explained. Did not even acknowledge that I brought it up. Their MO is apparently to keep transferring you to another supervisor until you give up. When I stated I want a months credit for this they supplied another link for a complaint which I started out on originally. Needless to say, I have spent the morning exploring other companies. We will be leaving this subpar company at our earliest possibility. If you are considering att, find another provider. Lots of others out there. They just keep increasing the price for less service.
