I asked for a hair cut that they said they could do and they cut my hair completely differently i had a photo and everything you’ll be hearing from my lawyer

My son would only let Emery cut his hair (following a botched cut at Sport Clips). We were so devoted to him bc he always took his time to make sure each haircut was perfect. We will miss him terribly! If anyone knows where he went please reply here.

Nikki did an okay job, they were quit busy Friday and I was an walk-in after 2 ish. She went a little too fast and the sides weren’t even. Don’t think I’ll be back especially seeing her.

It’s extremely cute and the people were very nice, I came in without a appointment but they let me get a haircut anyways! She did exactly what I asked for and was very precise. I arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday, and there was a wait of about 45 minutes. It was definitely worth waiting, as I was greeted warmly by the manageress and led to the chair. I received an excellent quality haircut as usual. The best part of coming here is that they take good care of you, including a hot towel to remove the clipped hair etc.I definitely recommend this shop.

Best place in Canton to get a haircut. Raul is great, highly recommend him. I’ve gotten my hair cut by several different people there & it’s always been a good experience so if he’s not available you’re still guaranteed to get the best haircut you’ve ever gotten. Definitely recommend making an appointment if you need a haircut during their busier hours.

We have been going here for several years and have been very pleased with everyone. Today is a different day. I called yesterday and made an appointment for today, arrived a few minutes early, only to find out they are now closed. It would have been extremely nice to have received a phone call. I understand things change and with what is going on in our world right now, I truly understand what businesses have to do. But, call me and tell me. Don’t have me drive 30 mins one way to a locked door! Very disappointed in the way this was handled!!

Ive been a consistent patron of Barker Jackson for the past five years. My Barber is Dee Towns. Although Ive set in many of the other barber chairs and been very happy, I always get random compliments from folks after Dee cuts my hair and trims my beard. I also have Dee cut my kids hair and regardless of the different styles and hair texture she always does an awesome job. Overall, the cost is higher than your walk-in spots such as Great Clips but the quality is notably better. Dee always takes the time to find out what I want and will offer suggestions when appropriate. Theres been several times when Ive just told her to do whatever she feels it needs and its always spot-on! Also, the barbershop always shaves the neck with a straight razor and uses hot towels. I highly recommend Barker Jackson and in particular Dee Towns. If youre like me and looking for a barber dont let the few extra dollars put you in the wrong seat. Schedule an appointment with Dee or walk in with a short wait and youll be glad you did!

I have been getting my hair cut here for over a year and this is by far the best place around. Besides the wait, which you can expect at any good establishment m, I have 0 complaints. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. I mostly get my hair and beard done by Nikki, and she is amazing! She writes down what she does to may hair and so the next time I’m in there she knows exactly what to do. Nikki is very friendly, sweet and amazing at her craft! If anyone says Nikki doesn’t talk then they are mistaken, or not talking about Nikki. Every time I’m there she’s asking about my kids and my family and how everyone’s doing. I highly recommended going here for your hair or beard!

Awesome place for a shave and a hair cut. I have been going to the shop since opening. The staff is amazing. Barker-Jackson’s Barber shop is amazing! My husband and 2 sons go there to see Jordan. She is awesome! She does excellent and exactly what my kids ask her and with them being 8 years old there is no telling. I would definitely recommend this barber shop to anyone with boys or to any guys! They definitely will treat you great!

I love going to get my hair cut at Barker Jackson. It is such a relaxing and fun environment. Megan is the only person I will trust with my beard and hair. She does exactly what I ask and does it perfectly. My recommendation: get the shampoo service as well. The shampoo paired with the hot towel massage at the end will make your experience even better. Ill never go anywhere else.

My girl Jordan, she hooks me up. Perfect cut every time. She listened the first time I went in, she helped me get the cut Id been looking for. I tried everyone. Been very pleased every two to four weeks since. Highly recommend. Shes the only one Ive used so cant vouch for the others. Good luck.

Only good things to say about this place! I book online every time because I don’t like waiting. So If you’re looking for zero wait and a tight fade then look no further! If you want an attention to detail barber Megan is one of the best. I’m very particular about my fades being ex military and I never leave there unsatisfied! Highly recommended

My son and I have been going to Barker Jackson for years...Ms. Meghan is an awesome stylist and does a great job on me and my 7 year old. The atmosphere is more laid back...and not what you find in so many of the low end hair places. Very cool vibe without being pretentious or snooty. I highly recommend!

This used to be my favorite barber shop but they’ve progressively just gotten worse to the point sport clips is better. The last haircut I got the lady took like 10 mins and didn’t even cut my hair how I asked. Don’t even bother coming here to spend 30$ on a great clips haircut

This barber shop is nice. But when I came in for a haircut I don’t want to be rushed. I want to be relaxed and feel like I am wanted there. Nikki I think that’s how you spell her name is decent. I felt rushed, no real conversation. I felt like a money bag rather than a human due to her lack of quality of skills. Haircut was alright.

Closing “early” on the busiest day of the week for a “staff meeting”. (Who makes staff stay late on Saturdays for a meeting on the busiest day of the week where they could be EARNING money anyway?). Loyal customer with 3 boys and a husband is going somewhere else. Sorry to my stylist we love.- sorry to everyone in there getting rushed out. They clearly needed signs, and to tell everyone they were closing early. Not just do it on the fly.

I want to be a Barker Jackson fan and Im writing this review for the only purpose of constructive criticism. The only way we get better is to know where you are lacking. Each time I go to Barker Jackson there is always a wait, a LONG wait! Understandable because they do a quality job and everyone seems to like working there. Being smart, and tired of wasting time I decided to schedule an appointment. On Thursday I scheduled a Monday appointment for 12:15pm the following week. I arrived at 12:00 and signed in. At 12:10 I asked if I could switch to I think Jerrod. The barber looked at the schedule and said it was unlikely he would switch since I already had an appointment with someone. Cool, I understand that and perfectly fine with it. At 12:30 I was approached by another barber saying that my person was not there today. She had to leave for an emergency. Cool, I understand things happen. Heres my rub... When I scheduled the appointment I received no less than half a dozen text reminders for my appointment on Monday yet no one could tell me at 12:00 that my barber wasnt there. I had to waste a half hour of my lunch to figure this out, and how long would I have sat there waiting. I just think its extremely unprofessional and down right rude to not communicate with your customers and place no value on our time when we go to extra lengths to patronize your business.

I have my hair cut once per week with Lynda. Shes fantastic! Shes extremely accommodating and the reason I continue to frequent Barker Jackson despite stylist turnover. I would recommend her highly to anyone in need of a quality haircut in Cherokee County.

I previously rated them 1 star, but I received a call from Megan, to discuss my concerns. She invited me back, and since then Im locked in. Best service in the world, and she does a GREAT job. After having the same stylist for over 20 years, its hard finding a replacement. My search has ended with Megan, and Barker - Jackson!

My son goes to Jordan and he has been very happy with her as well and he is a super picky 13 yr old. If you are looking for a real deal barber shop this is it!

Zohan aka Danny was amazing! He took care of both our boys today. Our youngest even threw a curve ball at him and asked for a shark to be shaved on one side.. and he did it!! It looks great! We will be back for sure. Did wonderful on our oldest son as well. He was able to help us find the happy medium between his hair all in his face to styled back looked sharp and clean cut. The atmosphere and decor polished it off. Our boys are becoming little men and this is just the place for them.

Went in for a walk in at a busy time. I knew Id be waiting so its not a big deal. After 20 minutes, my name was next on the walk-in sheet. The lady I requested skipped my name for another walk in that was further down the list. No big deal, maybe she knew him or something. After 1 hour and fifteen minutes, the lady I requested is free again. She starts calling names way down the walk-in list who hadnt requested anyone. She takes a guy who had been there for 10 minutes and didnt have an appointment. I check my name on the list and sure enough I was near the top and hadnt been crossed off. So I let someone know that I hadnt been called for some reason. No big deal, I have time, Ill wait. After 1 hour and 45 minutes another lady asks if Im waiting on someone. I said I was, but I didnt mind to try someone else if they were ready. After over two hours a third lady takes me back, and I attempted to explain how I wanted my hair cut. She didnt understand, and I tried to ask for advice, but she said it was my hair and that It was up to me (thats true, she was not wrong). I usually received help from the lady who normally cut my hair, so I wasnt used to having to explain exactly what I wanted. I explained wrong and got a bad hair cut. No big deal, hair grows back. I was there for 2 hours and 25 minutes total, less than 15 was spent on the hair cut.Lots of little things added up to make the visit mostly bad. Never got an apology, for being skipped the entire time. Im sorry Im leaving this review and honestly Im just venting. You guys are usually so good.Ill probably come back and Ill probably make an appointment with the lady I want next time.Just super bummed about the entire experience.

I reserve 5-Stars for the best-of-the-best typically, so after my first visit Id rate this shop at 4.5! It is a bit pricier than usual, but they give attention to detail and actually use straight razors on your neck and finish w/ warm steaming towels...as opposed to dry hair running down your back. You can have a wait, so just book on-line. Highly recommend this shop! If new walk in, sign in, take a seat and wait -or- book ahead.

I got my hair cut today by a friendly Russian guy. He blended my hair well, everything was looking good. I asked him for a hard part where the #2 met the scissor-cut top of my head and received a half-inch wide trench shaved into the side of my head. If your barbers are unfamiliar with a certain look or technique they should not just try it out. This looks incredibly amateur and I have no way to fix it. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise any man getting his hair cut here to make sure their barber is thoroughly familiar with the type of cut they want.

I get my hair cut every 2 weeks and really enjoy going to the Barker Jackson Barber Shop. I’ve has several different people at the shop cut my hair and each have done a good job. My favorite person is Nikki, she’s friendly and most of all does a great job on my, and my son’s hair.

I could not believe that several of their hair stylists were not wearing masks. A couple of them were wearing the masks below the nose. I felt sorry for the person cutting my hair. He was wearing a mask and keeping his mask on but was obviously worried about the other people giving him the Corona virus.

I walked in and requested an appointment with Simih. He appointment was running behind or was a no-show and had no one waiting. She stated that she has been cutting hair since 8:30am and no rest. She proceeded to tell me in front of the other customers that she was too tired and wouldn’t have time to cut hair because she has three clients left (again her 5:30 wasn’t there and no signs of showing). Very unprofessional to decline a client service when you spend 5 to 7 minutes telling me why you can’t as opposed to starting a cut. Likely a no show and didn’t get paid.

Great haircut every time. I have been getting my haircut here since they opened. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. I take my son here for his haircuts too. I have referred many people here, they have all enjoyed the experience as well. The decor is really cool too.

Love the hair cuts here. They are reasonably priced and have plenty of barbers to choose from. The hot lather shaves feel really great. Overall much better experience than cookie cutter barbers like great clips.

I’ve been a customer at Barker-Jackson since they opened and was a customer of Gino & Jackson before that. The place is great. Very professional and clean. I’ve been seeing Rafael for about a year now. He always does a great job and is fun to talk to. Their Marietta location is top notch too.

I have never received a bad beard trim, haircut, head shave or regular shave. My favorite barber is Emily. She does a fantastic job and helped to train my beard so that it had a proper look to it. She does an exceptional job when it comes to giving my hair the help it needs. She asks what Im looking for but really all she needs your ok to cut it. Trust her guys, she knows what you need, just let her do her thing!

If youre looking for an authentic old school barber that pays close attention to detail, gives you a great straight edge shave, and takes the time to make your beard look awseome, book with Keith. **Book in advance though, theres a reason hes always booked a weeks or so out; hes the best around.

I have to say even though I know little to nothing about having your beard trimmed, The Barker Jacksons Flagship of a barber Wallace did an outstanding job. Ive been trying myself to groom and keep my beard from going a bit too wild and finally made myself go to a barber, needless to say I have no regrets. You did really good guys thank you.

Gave them a second chance. Not impressed. My son and I went a month ago. The male barber that cut our hair cut it very uneven, and took way too much off. We went back today and tried a female barber. My sons looks better, but the hair line on the back is crooked. Very obvious. Neither of us needed much of a cut it was more of a ckean-up. When she straight edged the back of my neck, she cut me in two spots. For the price they charge, I would expect a better quality cut. Lots of business, and they pump out the cuts. No personality. Maybe because I did not have a beard and I do not wear skinny jeans.

Rafael is the best! He can trim a beard perfectly with no needed touch ups later. He pays attention to detail--going over everything three or four times to make sure everything is right. Thank you Rafael!

Wanted to love this place and when you can get in they do great haircuts. If you can get in. First time I made an appointment I still waited over an hour...what is the point of an appointment if you dont go by it. The last straw was once again made an appointment for 830...problem is they dont open til 9. I will not be going back.

Im off one weekday (Thursday) and called on Monday and made an appt at 1pm for a haircut & shave. My only cut there was with Jordan, so I made the appt when I called to request her. Upon arriving and telling the person at the counter I was there for my appointment, I was told I wasnt in the system? The lady tried to turn the computer screen toward me, like that was going to mean something?? All I was told was, Im Sorry like my 12 year old grandkid says when he gets in trouble. Then on my way to the car, a nice man ran out and offered to cut my hair. I declined, but that was the ONLY pleasant experience. Must be nice to have so much business, and lack customer service.

Took my son last week to get a cut waited for an hour which was fine since I was a walk in. The women who did the cut did an awful job. When we got home we noticed the side that the hair falls on was completely uneven and chopped. Im extremely upset especially since school starts Saturday. The prices are not what you would expect with a job we received.

If you need a mop chop. I would go here, they know there stuff. Lynda is who i get to cut my hair. She does the best job compaired to other shops i have used in the past. I drive from marietta to canton to get that mop trimmed.
