Went to Barber Ds several times, but this last time this guy was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Guy was Rude and obviously does not know any thing about building a business. Probably explains why his is in a little hut down the street. Seems I messed up his piece of paper, sign in sheet as most of us would call it. So he decided throw a tantrum and be Rude and loose a customer over a piece of paper. Ashamed, had my entire family down to get a haircut today. Normally we pay a good $100 for all of us, but the guy Mr. D. was so rude, we will take our business somewhere else. I see other reviews that say he is rude at times. In my company we are defiantly going to be nice. We want your money! hint hint...

Barber Ds is the absolute best barber shop in the county. It is not so easy to find an old school type of barbershop and if that is what youre looking for this is the place to go. He will get your haircut looking right and cleaned up to however you want it. He keeps his space very neat and clean while offering very reasonable pricing.

Been to the shop a few times and got a quality cut. However the most recent time I came by, after driving 45 minutes and waiting another 30 minutes in line. Barber d comes out and refuses to cut me and my 2 friends hair. He then proceeded to be very rude arrogant and unprofessional as he accused us of “playing in his parking lot”, even though the last time we were here we were parked in the grass in the back because the parking lot was full anyway. We eventually left that day after waiting almost an hour without getting a cut. Anyway, he then goes on to saying “he’s been in the game a long time” and he “knows how the game goes”. And demanded we get off his property. I was completely confused on the whole situation and just wanted to be professional adults and talk this situation out, as he may have us confused for other people since he’s falsely accused me before of “playing in his phone” but later realized he was mistaken. He claims to have camera footage but again as I’m trying to talk with him about the situation he wouldn’t even give me a chance to speak as I was genuinely confused about the situation and wanted to see where he was coming from, but instead of being able to have a conversation like professional adults, instead he was very rude arrogant and unprofessional and demanded we get off his property and even stated “go ahead and leave a bad review idc” So here I am doing exactly that. I definitely would not recommend ever coming here, after reading other reviews, it’s clear that barber d gets people confused and is very rude arrogant and unprofessional about it. A simple conversation would of handled the miscommunication but I guess he’d rather lose out on business instead.

First time going, was a little hard to find. My son needed a haircut bad for an up coming wedding. Mr. Dee paid close attention to detail and great listener. My son and I were very pleased with the haircut. I recommend to everyone. Looks like we found a new barber!!

Went in for a cut today with two friends, who have been there before (I have not), both of which highly rated the cuts they have received from him in the past. However as we’re waiting in line outside the shop he comes outside and refuses to see us. He claimed that he has video evidence of me and my other two friends signing in for a haircut on his sign in sheet then leaving the parking lot multiple times, disrupting the order of which the clients were supposed to come in. This left me and my friends very confused because he had clearly mistaken us for another group of young men that most likely had done that to him. We tried our best to be respectful and simply talk about what the misunderstanding must be. He proceeded to be very rude, unprofessional and overly aggressive with us, demanding we get off his property before he called the cops. I found this completely unprofessional, and truthfully unnecessary, as all we were trying to do was get him to show us the video proof he supposedly had of us, so that we could clear the air because we knew that that wasn’t us on camera(if it even happened in the first place). Overall, I went there to just get a simple and reliable cut and left truly feeling disrespected. I don’t recommend anyone going to Barber D, not worth the headache.

Not even a good cut like he loves to brag about. Hes rude to customers and lacks customer service or people skills. Ive heard bad stuff from other customers and other barbers. Ive told all my friends to never go there. Hes been rude to multiple people I know personally. Not sure what his problem is but but he needs to grow up or something

Let me tell yall a story; I remember all the significant haircuts of my last 20 years. I remember the haircuts before job interviews, the haircut before a first date, the cut before meeting her parents and the cut before we got married. I remember the last haircut I had before the pandemic. Some of them were good a lot were bad but all of them felt like it wouldnt be right till it grew out a little. You know, that window between cuts where you think your hair will look its best.Well, I just had my hair cut, for the first time ever by a true professional and master of his craft. For the first time this coif feels right, right now. I cant recommend Barber Ds enough for his knowledge, experience, quality and value. If youve got an interview, a date, or a wedding coming up; go see D!

Im a man who pre-Coivd, got a weekly temp fade to keep my haircut fresh-so I have quite a bit of experience with barbers. Sine moving to the Canton, area, I had trouble finding a good and reliable barber, until now. I always enjoy getting a haircut from D. Not only does he follow the Covid protocol, he goes above and beyond to ensure everyones safety by allowing only one person in at a time in the shop, temp check at the door, cleans down station and chair after each cut, and he changes capes numerous times a day. Great at doing temp fades to ensure my waves are extra wavy for the weekend. Great guy who can cut all types of people and a must visit in Canton! Has great apple cider too when its cold outside on the weekends.

Ive using Dwayne at Barber Ds for over a year. Dwayne is an old fashioned barber, hot towels and all. Hes been cutting hair for 30 years or so and has perfected his trade. His hair cuts are always perfect so that I feel confident when I walk out of his shop. No modern tools for Dwayne. He has them all but does most of the work with his scissors and is a master with them. When you go there plan to spend a little longer in the chair than you would with other barbers. I came in about 3 days prior and ended up having to leave for work so i decided to to come back a couple days later in the time It took me to come back I had done my hair myself just to have a clean cut and shave but the top of my hair was still long so I went in seeing if he could help as soon as I walked in her turned me away saying he wouldn’t cut my hair because he didn’t fix people’s hair Anymore and because I left the first time I’ve been to many barbers before and have never met one to turn away a customer for. Even a fix I love smaller barbers because they spend more attention and time on detail but this one will definitely never get money from me his loss sports clips it is

You definitely will want to take your business elsewhere. I’ve taken my son there a couple of times trying to patronize his business, and he simply wasn’t interested. He said that he was either about to close (it was 5 pm and he closed at 7) or had too many people (I saw two people in there). I’m not entirely sure what the issue is, but, seems that he prefers a certain clientele. It you want any kind of customer service, you’ll be much, much better off heading down to Kennesaw.

Mr. D, I do not have to hide behind a Google post. I came into the shop, super excited to have an African American barber so close to my new home. Mr. D was not the friendliest but he did a decent enough job on my kids heads. I told my husband and he went himself and took my boys to get a second cut. My husband said he does good work and that barbers get better with each returning client as they develop a relationship about what the customer likes specifically. My husband said Mr. D. had an arrogance about him but that wouldnt keep us from going. Today, my husband walked in and Mr. D. says he knows it was ME who wrote the post by Mrs. Malina, but it was not and when my husband assured Barber D that it was NOT me, Barber D responded with Yeah, Im sure it was her. My husband left and well, we will not be back. So Barber D. I am not Mrs. Malina, I am Mrs. Brinson and my husband, the tall light African American man is my husband. 2 people have spoken towards your demeanor... it may be more. I wish you well but it doesnt serve you well to ACCUSE innocent people. Its best to ask and accept their response. But like you told my husband, you dont chase clients, and we dont chase barbers.

This is the best hair cut around. Ive been in multiple times and Dwayne is consistent, conscientious and does a great job. The first time you walk in you can tell this man is an artist and an expert. It is fantastic having someone so close to our home that takes so much pride in his work. Barber D is a true professional that will take his time until he is 100% satisfied with his work. Regardless of how many people are waiting, he will never rush you out the door just to get another customer in his chair. Living in Woodstock, it can be really hard find someone to cut our son hair. Not only do I no longer have to drive to downtown to get my son lined up, this location is only 4 miles away from us! We are ecstatic and he is very professional. This location is busy so please go early!

My husband and sons have gone here twice. Although he cut their hair well enough, he was INCREDIBLY rude and seemed bothered, as if we were inconveniencing him. We decided to ignore his rudeness and go back again. The second time, he was worse. Sometimes, Ill ignore some rudeness if the work is better than others, but, nope... there are way too many barbers around that are awesome at what they do and pleasant to deal with. No need to deal with someone who comes across as if it is a bother to them to do what you are paying them for. They just opened a barber shop up the street, in the Publix shopping center, my husband and sons will be giving them a try next time. Ill let everyone know how rude you are. A hair cut is a good experience or a bad one. Personally I can say, this is the best cut, fade, razor shave, I have ever had great guy and good times . Come here and receive the best.

We set in his waiting room for 30 minuets with no type of enter action with the owner for my son to get his hair even though my son was complaining about the musty smell. Then another gentleman walked in the waiting and coughed one time and here comes the owner being a complete douch bag pointing at his sign and asking who coughed. The man said I did just once but said he wasn’t sick and the douch bag owner insisted if your coughing he want cut your hair. So us and the gentleman walked out. So if you need to clear your throat due to the musty smell just see your self out the door. The owner is a rude douch bag. (Please feel free to post your full video Proof! I brought my son in on a moments notice. My Father has just passed and I needed to get my son’s hair back in order for the service. Barber D was very patient with my 3 year old as he was scared of the trimmers. Barber D took the time to show my son that the trimmer won’t hurt him, and that he was safe with him. Benjamin sat still and allowed him to finish the hair cut, he even got to watch Mr. Stick on netflix. The fact that Barber D took the time to make my scared son feel confident in the chair, was amazing. He made him so comfortable, my son was no longer scared of trimmers and ended up trimming his own hair with his dads beard trimmers a few weeks ago. My experience in this gentlemans establishment was sub-par to say the least. I shall not return!!

We visited this barber shop recently and I did read the reviews beforehand, but decided to give it a try, which was a mistake. My son had bronchitis a couple weeks back and was on antibiotics (which he completed and has had a doctor’s visit since and all is well) but he still has the lingering cough. It’s not a crazy cough that would interfere with a haircut, but he coughs here and there. He’s not contagious. Just because you have a cough does not make you contagious by the way. If you want to stay away from people that have a cough then you may want to wrap yourself in a bubble and stay barricaded in your home. We are exposed to coughs daily, whether it be at the grocery store, the post office, going out to eat, the gym, etc. It’s crazy to act like people with a cough have the plague. We were sent away because of a cough, but that’s okay, we will not be returning when we are “well” either.
