We had taken a vehicle there a couple years ago when s Skip was there. We had a great experience then. When we went back this time there was a fella named Karl that had taken over for him. I have to say he was trained well by Skip. He was very professional and did a wonderful job for us. Cant say enough good about our experience. Plan on taking all our auto needs to them.

Karl is one of the nicest down to earth person. Ive met, went in for the replacement of 3 cooler lines and couldnt be more satisfied with every result. Staff is extremely friendly and will actually talk to you and give advice. They treat you like family. Honestly Id never see myself doing a review but how my experience was posting this was definitely worth my time to do so. Thats how good they are all around. ( coffee and donuts were also included) so its a obvious 10/10 for me personally.

I went there thinking Id get my truck fixed.... Naturally went to them they diagnosed the problem (major oil leaks) had it fixed picked it up only to have it break down on me with my family in the vehicle stranded on the side of the rd...low and behold we have another issue a really big one... The pistons are misfiring... Went to them and again did everything they asked and they fixed itAnd yet again something else went wrong with it and even bigger problem and the told me it was a dealership problem mind you this is a 2006 So I did everything they asked forked over almost 3 thousand dollars for them to tell me sorry its a dealership problem and both times I picked up my vehicle from their shop it never lasted more than 24 hrs after I picked it up from ammco the email I received was the wrong email and its been 5 days and no response

Karl is the man! Went in for oil change, tune up and tire rotation. He told me I didn’t need the tune up or even the tire rotation. Wasn’t trying to sell me stuff I didn’t need. Man, do I appreciate that! Fair prices and friendly staff. Was in and out in an hour. Even though they had a swamped schedule, they were willing to squeeze me in. Will be back for sure!

Aamco transmission in canton ohio is the best aamco i went to. East market akron ohio is the worse. I paid 2k for a transmission rebuild only to find out they put a used transmission in my truck that went out 6 months later.

Last time I went there January 25 Karl and the stuff where incredible helpful fix my car with no time took my car in on same day with their busy schedule because I was absolutely in needed and they understood and was able to find out & fix what my dealership said would cost me fortune! They did for free, it was unexpected issue happened to my car didn’t see it coming or prepare myself to spend a dollar. I couldn’t thank Karl & his team enough I am forever grateful for that day, went home and shared a tear for what they did for me. It was a Blessed day for sure. My wife stopped in to this AAMCO to get a tail light fixed 5 years ago and we have been taking are vehicles to them ever since. They are dedicated to helping their customers honestly and with great service! One example of many is:I have a 2012 Ford Fiesta the transmission was acting up, it was still under warranty so i took it to three different Ford dealerships to get it fixed. Every one of them said there was nothing wrong with it. So i took it to AAMCO they checked it out, found that the transmission was failing. They knew it was still under warranty, so they called the Ford Dealership that they work with and set up an appointment for me to get the Transmission replaced under the warranty. Karl told me that if the dealership gave me any problems to have them call him and he would take care of it. The dealership replaced it no questions asked and at no charge.The whole team at AAMCO is GREAT!!! Recommend them 100%A Loyal Customer

Our car broke down (we thought it was the transmission) and Karl and the rest of the guys were able to find the issue with some sensors along with some other issues. Karl took the time to explain everything to my husband and I so we could understand since we’re not very knowledgeable with cars. Thank you so much! DURING THIS COLD WEATHER MY CAR REALLY STARTED TO ACT UP AND OF COURSE YOU THINK THAT YOU NEED A NEW CAR. SO I DID SOME SEARCHING AND AAMCO POPS UP AND I READ THE REVIEWS AND I SAID TO MY SELF THAT I WOULD GIVE THESE GUYS A TRY. LONG STORY SHORT ALL I NEEDED WAS NEW TRANSMISSION FLUID AND IT CLEANED. OUTSTANDING!!! Is only one of the many words to describe both the staff and quality of work Karl and his team of top of the line mechanics give to every customer that calls and comes in for service. After having many issues with my truck, I took it to 8 local shops and dealerships to figure out what was going on and after no repairs were made and a couple thousand dollars later I found this Aamco in the Canton area. Karl not only made me feel welcome and cared for but both him and his team there went above and beyond to make sure my truck was safe and all issues were fixed and other issues were prevented. I was amazed on how affordable the repairs were as I was expecting it to be a lot more. I will only use this shop for my service needs and consider Karl and his team friends. I have been to many car shops over the years and happen to find these guys online when searching for someone to get my breaks done at.- Customer Service - As soon as I called and set up my first appointment I could tell the customer service was going to be good. Got me in very fast and always kept me updated about how things were going with the service on my car.- Break Job - I had to get all my break pads and a set of calipers replaced on my car. They were able to get me in within a day and have my car complete that very same day which is awesome. I did end up noticing my breaks were squeaking a bit so I took it back in to have them check it out. They ended up checking it out for free and replaced all the parts on warranty with no hassle. AWESOME!- Pricing - I have got a few different quotes on break jobs and they seemed to be priced about the same as any other car shop if not a bit less so pricing is always fair, especially since the parts all come with a warranty.- I would give this place a 5 star rating as I have had no problems or issues with them, would defiantly recommend to a friend.

I want to update this and say that 4 years later, the same great service, solid work, and professionalism still applies. Thanks Karl, Steve, Jim and the rest--you guys are great.These guys are intelligent, polite mechanics who get straight to the point and explain things clearly. They do not push anything on their customers and always offer alternatives based on reasonable diagnostics. I have never been talked down to or treated as though I would not understand their recommendations. Estimates are free, and the prices are reasonable for the work they do. The work itself is high quality. I have had several experiences with them, all good, and only wish that they had longer hours, or were open seven days a week (I work regular business hours and travel for work, so it is difficult to get my car in.) I hope they stick around for a long time to come-- Aamco on 62 is always my first choice for any car troubles.

I brought my 2008 Fusion here from a family referral when the engine was knocking. They checked out my car for free and let me know the engine was blown. They gave me a quote for labor and fully explained the process of buying a salvaged engine. After second and third opinions and shopping around Aamco was the cheapest for labor and I had confidence they would do a great job. The manager Karl worked with me everyday to find the right engine with the lowest miles in the best condition explaining everything along the way. After we settled on a salvage engine Karl ordered it and it was at the shop 2 days later. Engine swap took 2-3 days after. Karl called daily giving me updates and pictures of the install. I picked my car up after hours to find a spotless engine compartment that Aamco detailed for me. The new engine runs great and comes with a 2yr / 24k mile warranty covering parts and labor. I will definitely be a return customer of this Aamco. You can really tell that this shop cares about the work they do and their customers. Its difficult to find a shop that is affordable and does great work with outstanding customer service. Im glad dont have to look any further.UPDATE: 2 years after the engine swap car still runs great! Ive been back many times and have referred everyone I know. We talk about Karl like a family member and he treats us like one. Everyone there is awesome!

Karl was great, my 96 3500 ram had several 47re problems wiring sensor brake lights the trans was worn out but karl and his team worked on finding every problem instead of throwing parts at it. Best experience I ever had with any kind of business. The 3500 ram is up and running well thanks to karl he worked very hard on making my tow rig reliable, so if you have something that needs done this should be your first stop James Lovejoy.

This is the only place my family and I bring any of our vehicles now. They know what they are doing, they will make it right with you if anything goes wrong with what they service, and they always try to get you in the schedule. They are completely honest and we trust all the work they do!

I had as an issue the first time I went there the mechanic that was working on my truck put the wrong part in and it caused damage they replaced everything that was damaged without question........without a doubt they stand behind everything they work on. The owner Steve and manager Karl have always treated me with respect and courtesy. I have been back many many times and never had a problem I would not trust anyone else to work on my vehicle.

I have to say . After having not 1, not 2, but 3 horrible experiences with the Aamco on Everhard Rd .in North Canton, Ohio - Owned by Doug Peterson and managed by Tim Hester . Steve and his entire bay crew made me feel like a real person and addressed my issues promptly and adequately . These guys went above and beyond twice for me doubling checking the faulty and shotty work done by the previous store . If it werent for these guys I honestly am not quite sure what I would of done . I live on disability and they made me very happy to know that I can count on them in the future when it comes to servicing my vehicleBy no means should anyone associate these guys and their crew with those other goofs in North Canton . . I absolutely recommend the Aamco on Columbus Rd in Canton . These guys actually care about the quality of their work and stand by their word .

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Is only one of the many words to describe Karl and his talented and very knowledgeable team at this Aamco!! I have never been to a repair shop that hed me the outstanding service. After taking my truck to Goodyear on frank road in Canton for breaks and an alignment, which ened uo causing me over $10k worth of damage with Unsafe, incorrect Repairs to my Truck, which is a rare model and only 3 produced. After months of overwhelming stress, anxiety, and several visits later. I called Aamco, After the first couple minutes of talking with Karl ( Who is hands down one of the nicest and honest people I have ever met. ) who had not only gave me respect but treated me like a person and not a way to make a quick buck. The mechanics here went above and beyond by, thoroughly going over my entire vehicle and checking prior repairs and mistakes made by Goodyear. Karl documented everything that was incorrectly repaired and other damages found, Everyone here, not only cares about thier customers, but they want to make you and your safty number one. figured out every issue with my truck and with the detailed documentation of damage found. They are making the process of recovering the money I paid to goodyear, a solid case. I highly recommend bring your vehicle here. They do not give you the typical BS runaround. They tell you exactly what is needed not only to repair your vehicle and make it safe, but preventative maintenance and advice to help keep your vehicle running. Thanks you guys . Most honest shop I’ve found in Ohio. It’s simple, if it’s broken they will fix it. If it isn’t they will leave it alone. If I’m within 100 miles of their shop i bring my truck here.
