We have been going to Global Packing & Shipping for our shipping needs since they were located on Washington Street.  Their location may have changed, but the service has always been the best.  Nice people.

Had them pack and ship a rare, 1/6th scale model airplane made of balsa wood and fabric with a five foot wingspan-shipped from Maine to Colorado and the plane was so well packed that it arrived with not so much as a scratch! Can’t say enough about their service and the top quality job they did! They literally hand built a foam box inside a cardboard box and encased the plane within, inside a cocoon of bubble wrap and packing peanuts!

We have worked with Sarah and her staff for a few years on packing and shipping large items. Always found them to be quick, responsive and helpful. I always send people to her if they are in her area.Jeff B

While vacationing in Camden, we had several items that we wanted shipped home. They were either breakables or easily damageable. We took them to Global Packing for packaging and shipping.The packages arrived within 4 days. They had been packed well and could have withstood an elephant standing on them w/o damage! Globals pricing was very reasonable.We would definitely recommend using Global Packing!

From the time Sarah took over Global, we have worked with her and her team, both for our business needs and for personal packing and shipping. At times we have had them pick up at our place or we have taken our smaller packages to theirs. We have shipped things we have packed, and asked them to pack and ship the awkward more fragile things including a large antique oil painting we shipped to a relative in Germany. Last year was the ultimate when the crew actually picked up many of our household goods and moved them to another Maine community. Today, Global is coming to pick up five boxes to be shipped out tomorrow to Florida. Why do we keep coming back? Why wouldnt we? This is a company that really cares about its customers and their property. AND! they charge a fair price. ekg

Thomaston Place Auction Galleries recommended them as their only shipper. Item shipped was very small. Packaging was up to standard. Cost for shipping was almost double the usual amount quoted by UPS. Unacceptable and staff had nothing but excuses. If working with the auction house ask for a less predatory shipper as these folks know they have you at their mercy. I will not recommend or use again.

Sarah Mclean and team were paid to package an insured item; it was tossed into a box, not packaged or secured and shipped via UPS. The UPS box arrived broken, antique broken and insurance claim filed. This item was not exceptionally fragile, no more so than glass. Very un-happy with their results

Sarah & her team at GPS are great and have always been gracious, timely and efficient at meeting our shipping needs. I wouldnt even consider trying anywhere else!
