My experiences with rental agent Scott Haines of D&R Realty have been nothing but fantastic. Scott is a communicator by phone (first) and then text which is a must for me. Scott does not over promise and he is realistic about pricing a rental unit in a given market. Both my brother and I have used Scotts services to rent apartments and we have found him to be positive, full of energy and eager to find tenants. On every occasion, which have been more than 5-7 times, Scott has rented our properties. I would recommend Scott as the rental agent to use at D&R Realty.

While we talked to quite a few Boston-area realtors during our search for a new place to call home, Philip Tomsovic was by far the most thorough of them all in his analysis of the available rentals and most understanding in what we were looking for, what features mattered to us, and in what budget range we were aiming to stay. In less than 24 hours, we had already applied to and received landlord approval for the new apartment that Phil hand-picked out for us. This was all done from the safety of our current home 1000 miles away---no risk of traveling in the middle of a pandemic to view apartments in-person! Phil is awesome - he goes above and beyond for his clients. I didn’t feel the same shadiness you usually get with realtors - he was straight with me through the whole process and on his day off he called me excited because he found another client who would have been a perfect fit for my situation (I had two dogs and was looking for a room rental and it was a challenge, but Phil by chance had a guy come to him who also had a dog and pitched the idea of us going in for two bedrooms with our three dogs). It was a great idea and opened up a lot of options for us both. We both ultimately found other situations before needing to use that option, but I’ve stayed in touch with Phil since and he’s continued to be awesome. I now have a place that has 3 empty rooms and it’s promising one free months rent if the remaining rooms get filled by Nov 1st - Phil has already filled one of them and is trying his best on the other two. He is a great sport and a great guy through and through.
