I was extremely stressed. Water damage everywhere. Raffi showed up with his outstanding crew and took right over. Had all the damaged and wet collapsing ceilings and walls removed in no time. They worked until 6 pm on Christmas Eve. Thats how dedicated they are. Tenants even stayed during the gutting because Raffis crew put plastic everywhere to contain the dust.

I thought we had mold in the basement. Raffi at ServPro and his crew came by to inspect and provide a quote for remediation. After a thorough analysis and review, they determined that it was not in fact mold anywhere but just cement that had splashed on floorboards and rafters during construction and renovation. As such, we didnt need to spend money on any sort of remediation. Even though it meant no business for Raffi, I am very grateful for his integrity and thoroughness, and for really thinking critically about the problem. (A couple other companies came by and spent 5 min just quickly looking and quoting thousands of dollars of work, which would have been a complete waste). When we have a cleanup need in the future, I will be sure to call ServPro!

I had water damage in a basement space with rugs and exercise mats and other stuff. I called Servpro because I had seen their trucks around and really did not know who else to call. I am so glad I called them because they were able to help me salvage some of the stuff that I thought would have to be replaced. They took all the rugs and mats and cleaned them off site. This was great because I could never have done that, no space for one and no equipment or know-how. Furthermore I would have just spread around mold and mildew in the rest of the basement. Anyway they also told me how to clean what I could clean myself which was cool because that is work they were basically taking away from them selves. Once the area was clear they came back and cleaned everything, set up these big dryer boxes, and after it was clean and dry they put the mats back and all the rugs they were able to clean. The place for the first time didnt smell like a basement! Honestly it was cleaner than it had ever been. They really turned a horrible situation for me into a tolerable one. I hope you never need their services but if you do I would strongly recommend them.

We had the nightmare of all nightmares occur where we were awoken at 2am in the morning to sewage water pouring out of our toilet in the basement bathroom at our home. And let me tell you thank god for Servpro Cambridge/Belmont. I immediately called them despite it being 2 in the morning and less than 6 hours later they had a crew at my house. Yes they arrived at 7:30am! The crew was led by a gentleman named Melvin and he and the two other guys he had working with him could not have been more professional and polite. They were simply amazing! They worked nonstop from 730am to 5pm and were able to remove all the waste, power wash the entire basement and disinfected everything. They even went so far as to take pictures of all the personal items that were damaged and needed to be discarded so that we could use those pictures for our insurance claim. Furthermore, my wife is 7 months pregnant and was scared to be in the house after the disinfectant spray was applied throughout because of potential fumes. Well Servpro even has an answer for that- they use a toxin free food grade anti bacterial spray which is completely safe for kids, pets and pregnant women. You can never really imagine the horror of having sewage water pouring into your house unless youve experienced it, but we feel so blessed that the amazing team at Servpro took such amazing care of us. They are the best and I say with utmost confidence that there is NOBODY you’d rather have helping you when disaster strikes than these people!

Raffi & the crew were fantastic when we had a mold outbreak in our apartment. We called Servpro when our basement (used for storage of personal items and a workshop) unexpectedly flooded with a mixture of sewage water and groundwater. Water damage to your home is its own special hell, but Servpro made the remediation process as painless as possible. After leakage following a botched repair, I called them on a Wednesday night, and Raffi had a team at my house early Thursday morning to estimate the job -- and as soon as we got in touch with our insurer and authorized the work, Servpro was ready to go. They ended up finding mold in the walls and doing more extensive work than planned (ripping down two staircase walls and a high ceiling), but they were punctual, communicative, extremely efficient, and meticulously clean. They also were able to recommend a contractor who specializes in restoration after water damage, so well be able to get back into our house in days rather than weeks or worse. I hope I never have need of their services again, but if I do, I know whom to call.

A sewer back-up is a miserable experience but if you have to go through it, this company has got your back. Our sewer backed up after a monsoon downpour. Sergio answered the phone at 9:30pm and got us in the queue for a clean-up the next day. Michael sent out Melvin and his team the next morning and they worked to pull wet carpet out of our basement, moved bins of belongings out of basement, then cleaned and disinfected the area. Came back a week later to finish the job by removing drywall. Again, Melvin and his team worked to keep the dust down while they cut and removed wet drywall. Always helpful and friendly. As a Cambridge property owner, I am very grateful to ServPro of Cambridge-Belmont for their services that twice rescued my properties. In 2010 when the rains wouldnt stop and City drainage was insufficient for town sewage, the back-up into the basement was completely eradicated with no trace of damage. This past winter 2014 when a freeze-up caused water seepage into every level of a different property, their team came and remedied the soaked areas resulting in a renewed and fresh interior. We had our house main sewer connection back up and flood the basement with disgusting muck. ServPro was awesome: they responded FAST and in one day had the mess cleaned up and the fans going to dry everything out. My daughter attends college in Cambridge, MA and broke her ankle on May 5th - right before finals week. We live in Arizona, 2500 miles away, and ran into a bind and needed help fast finding a company to pack out and store my daughters items over the summer. Even though ServePro was fully booked given the extensive damage in Belmont and surrounding communities, Michael Pridham, ServePro owner, took extra measures to summon team members and equipment to attend to my situation. There was a mutual recognition that time was of the essence in order to prevent permanent damage and spare significant expense. Michael’s staff was top-notch, a true reflection of an organization dedicated to client service. I can’t thank the ServePro Team enough for their dedication and high touch service.

I would like to give both praise and a thank you to Mike Pridham the owner of Servpro and his assistant Sergio. I own a building in Cambridge with 8 Apts and 4 stores. Due to the accumulation of snow and ice, I developed a water leak from my roof which created water damage to the 2nd and 3rd kitchens and rear halls. I called my roofer, brother, and Servpro and they all showed up very quick. After the leak was diagnosed and repaired, Mike and his helper then went through all the tests for water damage inside the building.A few days later after the leak was stopped, Mike, Sergio, my son and the Arbella Insurance adjuster went through all the damages.
