WOW..have you ever left your CPA office and wondered what he said? Well not here..Dave talks in a language you can understand! He is knowledgeable, professional and answers your questions directly. I needed to confirm potential tax consequences from selling a primary residence. I found Daves name/company doing a Google search. He was very prompt in returning my email and we spoke on the phone later the same day. I found him to be very professional; he answered all my questions, and thankfully, what I suspected with regard to the issue I was seeking advice on was confirmed (all good news!). Im not usually one to seek outside help with personal taxes, but my situation this year was complicated (to me) and I wanted to stay on the good side of the Tax Man, so I reached out to a few CPA offices in the area. Several of them never bothered to return my inquiries, but DePonceau & Associates answered right away: before I knew it, I had an appointment set up for that very week.I came in to the adorable office house in downtown Camas on the planned day, folio plump with prepared documentation, sat down in front of Dave, and explained to him my complicating circumstances. He immediately knew exactly what I needed to do, explained it to me, and then he told me to go home and file them myself because I could handle it. I offered to pay him for his time, but he insisted that he always provides an initial consultation free of charge; in his judgement, my tax situation wasnt all that complicated and I could take it from here.Dave is knowledgeable, personable, and above all honest. You will not regret bringing your business to him.
