I stopped in at Smart & final today because the New York steaks were on sale the money I saved was less than what I paid I love Smart and final especially the one in Camarillo the customers the employees are so helpful and so nice its my favorite store all that was $35 I saved $40 something dollars so you tell me why I go to Smart & final its smart

I went to store to buy some vegetables. Very over priced, smart and final is more expensive than Ralph’s, Albertsons and Von’s. Celery was for $1.49 and at Albertsons 89 cents. Bananas are 69 cents a pound and at Aldi 39 cents. I decided to buy a bag of carrots. I bought it and when I reached home I opened the bag and saw most of the carrots were brown rotten. I went back to store returned it, the manager was nice and apologetic. They keep advertising “ low price with out membership card” or “ real saving”. I consider this advertisement to be a crime. They are selling low quality merchandise for over price and most people do not even pay attention. Please check the wuality of food at this store and compare it to others ( I like Aldi ). I took photos of the carrots and the return receipt and decided to write monthly reviews of this SMART AND FINAL

Love getting bulk spices here! And always good price on Tillamook cheese.

I went to the store early in the morning. Few people had the same idea. The line was quick, and I was out the door in no time. Thank you for your safety procedures; everybody wore a mask. I felt safe shopping.

Well stocked and helpful employees. Sometimes not the best selection but very good prices. They have everything you need but maybe not the specific item you want. Produce dept is meh..... Meat dept is pretty meager. Most other things are great.

I like Smart and Final; its sort of like Costco without the lines. I found what I wanted, personnel were polite. Checkout was quick. What more could I want.

Went there because the lean cuisine was online for 2 for 4 dollars ! Arrived at the store and it was 2 for 6Looked for a manager but no one to be found ! Went thru the cashier and told him what happened. Did not do anything to resolve my concern ! I will never go to smart again ! Poor customer service and long lines with only a couple cashiers !Good bye smart and final as I will go to vons only .Vons cares about customer service !

I went this morning around 8:30 a.m and there was no line. It was the perfect time to go with out having to wait in line.

Always has what I need at good prices

Good prices, clean bathrooms!, Have certain items in larger sizes that other stores do not. I get cookie trays and fruit trays for various people in stores I go to just to show my appreciation and always get big smiles from them. I make my dogs food from scratch and this is a good store to get reasonably priced larger sizes of meat. I get big smiles from my dogs, too. 😉

November 20, 2020 update: Because of the recent surge with the ongoing health situation, limits on water, paper products, and cleaning products have been reinstituted. Signs are posted by those items for shoppers awareness.

Definitely a first stop grocery store, get what you can here for a really good price, then pick up the odds and ends at a bigger grocery store. Theres a great variety of healthy, and convenient foods. Look forward to dropping in again

I dont know if its all smart & finals but this one has some of the best produce, and the rotisserie chicken is the best here worth the extra 1-2 than what everyone else charges

I enjoy shopping here because the staff are courteous! Especially staff like Ulysses and Jonah, who always remember my husband and I whenever we come in or leave! Other than that, the store lacked consistency before COVID-19 when it comes to having Lactaid 2% (1 Gal.) in stock!

Big vegetable & fruit dept. Well stocked shelves. I will be going back every couple of months for cleaning items that I cant get at Trader Joes, Sprouts or Target. Needed Stretch & Seal in large size. Unfortunately there was only the small size. For that I am giving them only 4 stars instead of 5.

We purchased an ice chest and wanted to return it because it would not fit behind the arm rest area in our Expedition where we always put it. We took it back in new condition and they refused to take it back saying they are not taking back any returns. All sales are final! Beware! Do not buy anything from here unless you dont mind being stuck with it.

This review is for their delivery service. My online experience was easy. Long list of groceries you can choose from. The person shopping and pulling the groceries for you can also communicate with the customer while shopping for you in case of change. The delivery time about an hour window was delivered on time and the driver carried six bags to my door. Great service I recommend.

Great store,This is a must ! You have to try the rotisseries chicken 😄 monday-Friday they have it on weekend too. The weight of the chicken is over three pounds compared to other stores. The staff is the best. I needed something and the found it fast. Great job 😁😁😁

Staff is always helpful, and they call an extra checker when the lines get too long. This place is super-convenient and has good prices. I would rather shop here for every day items than a chain grocery store any day.

Surprisingly Good. Tried to force an end of day alignment and didnt complete correctly. Then next day drive-by and fixed correctly, now. No BS whatever to make it right. What a concept. Thank you, keep it up.

I was in the store 2 Sundays ago, it wasn’t relatively busy so I couldn’t help but notice an employee speaking very loudly to another employee...in the middle of the store in front of all check registers...the loud employee was an older male with white and grey hair and beard shouting to a younger female employee, I happened to bud in to ask for help and he carried over the same loud, rude and demeaning tone over to me....Not only is this very rude and disrespectful but unprofessional. I called the store twice to leave a complaint and the first call I was left on hold for over 10 minutes and the second call all they could tell me about the employee was that he was an assistant manager and was not in that day. I am astounded that this sort of behavior is tolerated and allowed...specially to a customer.I will not be returning...I’m very disappointed as this is the closest grocery store and I appreciated the prices...this sort of stuff has never happened to me at Vons

The stockman Sol was extremely friendly and helpful to a handicapped person. My problem was that I wanted to buy by the case. Cant be done I was told, only individual items. Not much point going there with Costco around.

Prices are pretty good, selection is great, service is fine. This place is especially helpful if youre looking for bulk, but they also have plenty of stuff in normal amounts, too.

The store is nice and clean and stocked well. They just dont have enough checkstands open and Jenna was an agonizingly slow checker. There is no reason to move that slowly.

The lines were long when I went but they moved fairly quickly and the employees were very nice and the store was clean.

Store is clean and well organized. Locks on the bathrooms so be sure to find the code from a staff member.

This store has its own brand First street which has an alternative for almost every famous brand and the quality is also good.

Need more cashiers they need to provide more better service for there customer. I have stop going here due to the lack or care for there customers. Atleast at walmart there is a self check out. Here you have to wait in line for at least 5-15 mins. I do most of my shopping at trader joes.

Amazing place, lots of good stuff to go around and still I go here every week because they have great items and amazing prices, such a good place.

There never seem to be enough checkers available so shopping takes longer than expected. Some of the cut fruit and prepared salads are pretty iffy.

This is not my first time here. You always have to wait for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Only 2 cCash Registers OPEN, and 6 costumers in each line with carts full of merchandise.

Great prices and items in bulk, kind of like a mini Costco.
