As first time homebuyers, we were extremely stressed about finding a realtor who would listen and take us seriously. We were extremely lucky to have found Karla during this insane market time. She began sending us properties minutes after our initial phone call. At the time, we were not in the state, but she was willing to book walk throughs while we were on FaceTime. She also offered to show the listings to my parents, who were nearby and available. Her interest was making us feel safe and happy with our choices. We were never pressured and when it came down to putting an offer on a property she spearheaded the entire process. She is an excellent communicator and negotiator. An absolutely incredible realtor and person. We look forward to working again with her in the future and recommending her to all our friends and family.
My family and I had already done a few attempts to buy a house. One of the times we were really close but escrow fell through. We lost the place where we were living at the moment. I work in costumer service so my number one priority was buying a house for my mom. Almost every agent used to tell me that I needed many things that I was actually scared. I finally gave up the idea of buying a home. Everyday I would go on my realtor app and look at all the new houses that were for sale, I used to say to myself I like this one but I wouldnt be able to buy it. After looking for the for sale, I would go to the ones for rent. I really wanted to get out of the house we were renting it needed a lot of fixing and the landlord wasnt doing anything. I found a nicer house for rent and I emailed the agent. I never thought anyone would call. That same afternoon, I got a call from Karla De la Cruz and she said she received an email letting, her know I was interested in a house for rent but unfortunately the house I was interested in wasnt available and she asked me if I had an agent.I said no I dont. I remember telling her I really needed to find a house. I cant be living there anymore. I was interested to buy more than to rent. I explained to her my situation and she said lets get together with a loan officer first and go from there. After being pre-approved I let them know I wanted to live in Thousand Oaks. The problem was that houses are so expensive. She talked to me about looking in Simi Valley. We looked at one house in Thousand Oaks and I didnt like it. She showed us a few houses in Simi Valley, with decent prices. The houses were fairly nice. After seeing the second house we decided that was going to be our first home. Karla did everything that it was in her hands to make my familys and my dream come true. I can now say that we are the proud owners of a really nice house and everything is thanks to Karla De la Cruz and Faye Miran our loan officer.
If you want someone by your side whom will not only have your best interest at heart but also negotiate the best deal for you Karla is the go to person!
