Hanks Barber Shop is hands down the best place to get a hair cut in the area. They are always booking out on the weekends so make sure to set an appointment at least few days ahead. Robert, thanks for all the awesome haircuts and good experiences with the shop.

Hank’s Barbershop is the best in Ventura County. I happen to have heard of this establishment through family and I have been very happy. My observation is that every barber here has satisfied customers after every haircut. I have had Lilly cut my hair for years and I always feel like 1 million bucks! Ive been coming here for several years now and have never had a bad haircut. I typically sit with Hector. Hes the type of dude that will remember your haircut after a couple of trips. He has great attention to detail so I always try to grab his chair.

The owners son uses the upstairs space; dont go upstairs!! I am still wait after 3 months for my hair to grow back. I went 1 time to the girl, and once to hank,s son directly. Both were poor hair cuts.

I don’t want to sound mean but I probably had one of the worst haircuts I ever had there. I’m sure it was probably just a bad experience since I know there are other barbers there, but the dude that cut my hair did not know what he was doing, could not line up my part and could not fade me up properly. Maybe he was new, I don’t know, but the quality control for whoever hires people there let this one slip through the cracks.

I might be a little biased since this is my own family Im talking about, but when I went there they put a sort of hair extension in my hair and it stayed on for quite a while and they didnt pull on the hair as they were putting them in and they recommended a good temporary hair dye for me to use, and were altogether super nice.

Recently moved to Camarillo and looked for a barber. Hank’s was the first one I found and the only one I need. Won’t get my hair cut by anyone but Robert at Hank’s from now on but every barber at the shop is 100% quality.

I moved up to venture area a year ago, my other guy was closed, and hes way down in glendora area, so I couldnt take it any longer, so I called a few barbershops in the area and they didnt seam to want my business adleast not over the phone, like they say first impression mean the most, Hank answered the phone and was very polite and told me they had some appointments ahead, but come on down well take care of you, little did I know Hank the owner would be the one to cut my hair, hes super polite. Very professional, and good conversation, I am so glad I found Hanks place, hes got my business and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Love this place, amazing staff. Appointment recommended, but do accept walk-ins. I have been coming here for years. I go to mark now but started with Hank, and then Lilly. No reason for change just go with whats convenient. Very clean, and appointments are regularly on time, and staff takes time on the cut itself.

Looked like they would be good but not my style of haircuts. Everyone was getting the typical military haircut. Not my thing.

Excellent service and I really liked my haircut. I did not have an appointment and was able to walk in but it was a bit of a wait. It was worth it though as it was one of the better haircuts I have had. It is a little more expensive than your average shop and they serve kids and adults alike.

Best barber shop around. Ive been going to Hank for over 30 years. He makes you feel like family and you always get a great haircut.

Had to wait for a while to get my haircut, but it was worth it at the end. The people make you feel at home and like family. The haircut wasnt bad either. I would say its a bit pricey at $25, but you never want to cheap out on a haircut.

I think his name is Walter the one that works in the back cutting hair, gave me a bad skin fade a week ago and by bad I mean like he didnt blend it in on both sides of my head and left it uneven with hairs that werent even cut. Also, a month before this happened, I came in on a Saturday morning before they opened like at around 7 and waited until they got their equipment ready to cut my hair. So then, Hank told me that Walter was going to cut my hair, then I told him, I dont like how Walter cuts my hair. After I said that, Hank responded with Im sorry I cant cut your hair. Like seriously if you want positive comments about your shop and workers, you need your worker to improve and know how to cut hair correctly. And you should also bring down the price on a haircut because I came to get a clean haircut, not a bad haircut that cost $25.

I always bring my kids here and theyve gotten plenty of amazing haircuts. This is so far the best place I have taken them and I thank the barbers for being soft on them.

I thought I would try this place out for a beard trim. Not only did the blades that he used all feel dull but i now have some nasty cuts on my face. Place was not kept clean and put a hot towel on my face that smelled like a dirty sock. Not pleasant!

If I could give no stars I would. We just moved to town and my husband needed a haircut before he started at his new job. My husband called in trying to get an appointment here and the lady who answered was just plain rude. She didn’t answer the phone professionally. When he asked if she had anything open for a specific time she was short and said no. Then there was another call coming in and she’s like I have to get that I’ll call you back. Was so unhelpful and rude. We will never set foot in that establishment.

Javier (22y/o) gave me a classic shave. Rather disappointed since he failed to shave below the chin line!, finished the shave using an electric shaver!! Wouldnt you think to have paid $25 for a supposed classical shave, you would not need to use an electric shaver! A single edge razor should be all thats needed. Javier was a nice person but certainly needs more training. I would not recommend this facility to anyone wanting a shave classically. My sons bday gift is appreciated otherwise.

They are pure perfectionists. Prices are higher than some of the chain salons, but it is worth every penny. I would get so frustrated with my fade being uneven at other places, but I have never had an issue here. Been a loyal customer for a few years now.
