So just did my oil change to go out of town tomorrow was told all went well as soon as I pull out white smoke was bellowing out of the exhaust that’s never happened Lead tech said he saw me leave and knew I was coming back he was waiting for me and waved me into first open spot I’m waiting here now waiting on word from manager. I’m supposed to be taking a family vacation tomorrow and don’t know what to do or what I can do this was just maintenance before our trip and now this. If this is rectified I will certainly update my review. I just hope they don’t try and screw me (they didn’t) I use this place for all three of my cars. I’ll update as things progress. Spoke to manager they cleaned out oil and told me they would cover any damages if they were caused by them. They also refunded me my charge so I could pay a mechanic to look at it I was super frustrated but Thank you Justin and Austin. The problem is being addressed I will be back to this location just because of them. I will be getting it checked out but I have full confidence they will take care of it if it was something they did. Thanks again guys

My boyfriend and I were driving through Caldwell and stumbled upon this gem of an oil change shop: Einsteins Oilery! Weve been on the road for awhile during our road trip so we always make sure to take care of my car. We stopped here and the staff was so kind. Its cool that they let you stay in the car during the oil change, they topped off my fluids, checked my tire pressure, filled my tires up, even cleaned my windshield! I never felt pressured but they simply shared recommendations based on my vehicle, year, and mileage which I appreciated. Super cool place. I wish they were in more places than just Idaho!

They changed the oil and transmission fluid. They did everything within a hour. Were very helpful.

It sucked! They tried to sell me a $75 oil change on a newer Toyota Camry that’s driven less than 3000 miles per year. It only had 2515 miles on it since the last service. But it wasn’t all bad I got a $15 off coupon so it only cost $29.00. It’s no longer Einstein it’s Valvoline.

We took our class C motorhome in...111...the guys directed us in smoothly and did a fantastic job changing oil, air filter, fluids. They were so nice, efficient...and their Manager did all he could to help us. We will definitely go back!

Not einsteins anymore an you can totally tell the difference right off the bat. The guys dont yell out to each other anymore to double check their work and you dont get a drink anymore also there was a slight price increase.

First time going to Einsteins oilery and more than likely my last.While waiting in my car as my oil was being changed, a young man was under my hood conducting their standard checks.He finished checking my air filter and was having trouble getting the top housing seated and secured. In disbelief the young man started punching the housing trying to get it to go in place before a more experienced man came over and provided instructions.I checked my vehicles air filter housing when I got home to find the orange rubber seal of the air filter sticking out and pinched by the top portion of the housing.Further checking, I noticed the young man had broken a piece of the housing off that secures the top portion of the housing.Im still waiting to hear back from the local site manager reference a complaint I made.

The whole staff rocked. Only place I ever take my vehicles. I feel they go above and beyond what customer service used to be like. Highly recommend to anyone.

They no longer offer drinks, newspapers, and ipads now that they are owned by Valvoline which takes the fun out of it. They checked my tire pressure and the inside of the door and let pressure out of my tires until they were 10 below the recommended level listed inside my door, so my car started alarming and I needed to stop on the way home to have them pumped up. Other than that service was fine, but will go somewhere else from now on since they are no longer something special and have tire inflation issues.

Did you know that if you dont screw the air intake cover back in fully, all sorts of debris can get in and cause damage? Apparently they didnt.

I waited in my car to have my oil changed for nearly an hour. In the meantime, an employee of Einstein’s oil took my vehicle information. When I parked in the garage for another 10 minutes, I was finally approached by another employee who informed me that they do not have any synthetic 5w 30 available. He went on to explain that they have been out of that oil for a couple weeks. Why did someone wait for over an hour to verify whether or not they had my oil type? This type of poor customer service should not happen to anyone. I would avoid this establishment and visit a more organized company like Jiffy Lube instead.

On 4/16 we attempted to have the oil changed in my car but were told rhst they don’t have the parts necessary to complete the oil change on an European vehicles (I have an Audi I mean an Audi is a major car brand so why doesn’t the companyv require stores to stock parts for ever car brand!! I recognize thst it’s Idaho and there aren’t a ton of Audis here...but there are enough here to justify stock. And what happens when a BMW or mercedes orvilkswafen, Mercedes come inThose cars ARE prevalent in Idaho!! So why exclude Audi?We own 2 other American made trucks...Chevy & Didge...guess who’s not getting my business even for the trucks ever again??? I mean ADVERTISE rhst you can do American & Asian vehicles but European is a full stop NO!! Significant time wasted today!! Thanks! Oh and we were told rhst Audi covers the first few oil changes for free...only if you spend $3500-4500 on a maintenance package which not everyone can afford!! Einstein will be getting the middle finger on the drive by and o will find rferyÿ

While visiting Nampa Idaho,, my Ram Fuel filter warning came on. Searched for a drive through oil change like the one I enjoy in my home town. I called Einsteins then decided to try them out. Professional, friendly and honest. If you have not tried Einsteins, I suggest it.

Killed car battery had to get towed wife had to uber home wouldnt help compensate. Took to mechanic and resolved due to loose terminal. But Einsteins now valvoline wouldnt do a thing to help. New ownership is a joke dont give them your business.

I showed up 5 minutes before closing time on a Friday... they happily started on my vehicle and I entered the bay about 20 or 25 minutes after 5. They ran into a problem being able getting my oil filter back on. Eventually every employee was involved and not one but ALL of them kept their patients and professionalism! I was very impressed with how they had a problem and kept at it until solving it and doing it with a smile! I left at 6:30, an hour and a half past closing time on Friday... They offered me a discount and were very apologetic about the time it took. I was just happy they got it done and didnt give up.

Worst service ever, Im not sure if its because valvo6nought then or what but I needed them to do my a/c and serpentine belt which they told me I needed done a few months ago and they had the lamest reasons why they couldnt/wouldnt do them ugh they list my service and my mans!!!!!

First started coming to einstein because it was close to my work. Now I take them almost every vehicle I have to resell. They are efficent and check over many things. Not only do they do a great job. The staff if helpful and courteous. Will recommend again and again.

Sadly I had to change my review, Einsteins has changed to Valvoline and in doing so have taken away the awesome show you got when getting your service done, now you have to ask for basic service you that normally they would just do as part of the beginning inspection, gone are the visual diagrams to show you the condition of your various types of fluid, didnt even check my brake fluid to my knowledge. Gone are the camera that were showing you under the vehicle, Im guessing because of COVID they no longer ask if you want to see the paper or drink, so that not has no bearing on this review. The crew is still top notch, but the Valvoline reps are killing the experience. Now its just another jiffy lube.Im lucky enough to be able to work on my own truck so Ill go back to doing that, I enjoyed the show and convenience of not having to do it myself because of that.Dont get me wrong its not a bad place to get your oil fixed but it was a lot more fun when it was actually Einsteins. ( I think their keeping the name, the window sticker no longer has their logo so who knows where you got your oil changed 3000 miles ago.Just be sure to ask them to double check oil after they get done changing it. And ask about fluid top offs I forgot to do that so I dont even know if my windshield wash has been filled. Also asked to make sure your brake fluid is filled.All I know is they missed a lot of opportunity to upsell and the great service you got with the old ways is now gone. Didnt even offer to wash my window.But I put that on the new Valvoline people.

TOO MUCH YELLING AND SCREAMING OUT TIRE PRESSURES OIL AND WASHER LEVELS AND EVERYTHING. I think I aged a month in the half hour I spent there, but in all fairness, they did a good thorough job. Ill probably watch for a coupon and go back to Jiffy Lube. A lot quieter.

I always get wonderful service at Einsteins in Caldwell. They have taken good care of my car, which has 214 thousand miles on it! And they are able to tell me if it is ready to die!

Went to get my oil changed here a few months ago and the service was alright. But I changed the oil in my car yesterday to see that the plug to my oil pan and my oil filter were not even tightened all the way! The plug could have easily fallen out and drained my oil without me even knowing and seize my engine. Last time I take my car anywhere for an oil change. Beware.

So fast and very mindful of the line and how long the wait is and they move the traffic aaround to make sure they dont make you wait too long.... The best experience ever. The employees were nice and not pushy at all. I will say they are very thorough. They cleaned my windshield, offered me a drink and newspaper. They dont have a lobby so youll be waiting in your car while they change your oil. It is quick service so I expected to pay more, and I did. They put air in my tires, checked for leaks, inspected my front and back lights. The best part was they replaced a bulb in my front lights which saved me a trip to Auto Zone. There was one car ahead of me when I arrived so total time from arrival to finish was about 30 minutes.

They were very nice, gave me the newspaper and asked if I wanted to use a tablet. Also, I LOVED that they had cameras under vehicle so,I could see what they were doing. Sometimes I have suspected that places didnt really change my oil. No doubts with Einsteins!

These guys were great...even though my dip stick broke. They didnt just slam the hood. They let me know the little circle broke. They ordered a new one. They bring me a soda pop. They offered me a newspaper. They were really on their game. I really appreciated the customer service. I would not have a problem recommending them to anyone. I really respect that they told me that the plastic thing on my dipstick broke and really appreciate they replaced it. Because seriously I probably wouldnt have noticed for a few weeks. I totally respected this honesty.

Awesome experience!! This was our first time here and my husband and I were amazed at the great professional service that was provided. Dante was very friendly and very transparent about everything that was being done on my truck. There are cameras that let you see everything that is being done.They even had complementary drinks for us. Wow very Impressed! I would like to add that you dont even have get off of your vehicle. Everything is done while your sitting in your seat. They also have great communication amongst each other to make sure everything is being done. They even checked to make sure all my lights are working properly and all fluids under the hood were filled as they should be. Very much worth what we paid!

Quick, friendly service

I went in for a basic oil change. They were friendly and greeted me with smiles! They got me right in. I told them not to bother putting windshield wiper fluid in because my reservoir was cracked, and no point in wasting theirs! Well, one of the guys didn’t hear me say that and filled it anyway. It remained full. They had me test it and they found that a line was broken! Joe, who normally manages a Einstein’s Oilery in Garden City, wasn’t happy leaving it that way! He found some tubing and fixed it!i am so grateful that I can clean my windshield again! Great service and I’d highly recommend this place.

Took the car here for the first time after buying it. The previous owner had taken the car to get its oil changes here. There was something wrong with the oil pressure sensor so they told me they would take a look. Even though they couldnt fix the problem they had no hesitation to take a look and see what they could do.

I love Einsteins. It may cost a little more, but the service is so worth it. Its such a luxury to never have to leave your car and to be given a newspaper or tablet and a soda over ice after a long day. Its also entertaining to both watch on TV screens and listen as the workers call out whats being done back and forth to each other. My kiddo adores going and listening to and watching everything thats going on. Theyre also very low pressure in my experience. They do recommend services, but when you tell them not today or its just not in my budget right now, then they leave it at that, which is really appreciated.

They seem to have done alright, however it doesnt feel you with confidence when some young kid walks up to a running diesel pickup and asks if its a diesel...

The place is awesome, never had to get out of my tahoe, they offered something to drink and a newspaper or tablet, they explained everything they were going to do and had screens so you could watch all they did. In all it took 11 minutes, they were like a NASCAR pit crew, they even thanked me for my service to this country, which i thought was a beautiful touch. Zech was very helpful. Andreas quoted us wrong so we almost got ripped off 100$ but thanks to Zech he helped us sort out the problem and we were able to qualify for the deal. I highly recommend Zech gets a raise and if you have the opportunity to choose your worker to choose Zech.
