Lana is an angel & is so sweet every time I’m there. She’s often the only one working at the desk & even when people are rude she is firm but kind & does her job well.However another experience I had with Linda was not so pleasant. She was very rude for no reason at all when I just needed to get a package that said it was being held at the post office per customer request, which I had not requested. She told me it would be sent out with the mail and that it was being held probably because it was after hours yesterday, but I had gotten that update at 1:30 PM. She almost didn’t check for my package but I asked if she could anyway since I had also called the post office before I came to make sure that was there and it was. If I had not come and gotten it would not have come in the mail & she would have sent me away & I would not have gotten my package. But more than that she just had a really bad attitude for no reason at all. It could have been a bad day as we all have them but I was very kind & I am very patient so I did not understand why I was being dismissed.Overall I think this post office is very understaffed and deals with a lot of grumpy customers and are doing the best that they can. But some of the customer service needs a little bit of help.

I wish it was easier to contact the local post office to tell them that no my package is not undeliverable and ready for pickup at the local post office and that the mailman needs to do his job and deliver the package instead of marking not home without even checking. Im home 24/7 and so is my spouse, we didnt miss the mail carrier.I know its hot out, but I cant just go to the post office and get it. Im disabled. The ramp is extremely long, parking isnt always available at all downtown, and I have very limited energy. Which is why I ordered that item online instead of going to the store.

Worst postal service ever! My normal driver is great. Wonderful guy actually. At the Post office workers are rude, and worthless. Got an e-mail at 8:03 p.m. that my package(which was to be delivered ro me at home) was available for pick-up at 6:30 p.m. the same day. Then, went there in the morning to retrieve the package but, was told it was put on the wrong truck and was already on the other truck for delivery that day. Got my mail and no package. So, Ill have to go back there tomorrow to see about getting my package again.

Package key and mail put in the wrong box. My neighbor brought my product, I recently canceled, with intention to refuse, and send back at not to me. They put the key in the wrong mail box. My neighbor opened thinking it was hers. Wrong address. Neighbor delivered the package, and apologized for opening. I explained this to the clerk 6-25-2021She said I would have to pay to return the package, also would not let me use clear tape. Sad to Lose the resent retired clerks, that would have handled this very differently . Also great full for the honest Neibors, as we deliver mail to the proper address often.

I have always experienced fast, reliable, and knowledgeable customer service at this location. Grateful for the USPS

Y’know, I’m really glad to see I’m not the only person being screwed over by this post office. I’ve complied with every request I’ve been given from them. I’ve rearranged my parking, I’ve moved my mail box to the edge of my property line. Yet every day I get a note in my mail box saying that it was blocked and my mail wouldn’t be delivered. I’ve gone to the post office only to find that said mail person has marked my house VACANT. Packages, Bills, nothing gets delivered. The staff is rude. The bald man at the counter rolls his eyes every time I ask for my mail that wasn’t delivered. So thanks 1 star reviews, I was starting to think it was something I had done. Glad to see that the office is just horrible.

I dont know why this post office has such a low rating. The people you actually deal with in person up front are super friendly. Theyre always super helpful and Im surprised theyre not meaner based off of how customers blame then for everything they have absolutely no control over. Ill say thank you for making sure my Christmas presents are getting out this year.

Our mailman is awesome cant remember his name but his Route includes larch st . He goes above and beyond. Realy nice man .

My tracked packages keep arriving at the facility just fine, but then they always seem to get lost at THIS location....

Hmm! Does that look right to you? If it were your package, would you be happy? This is a radiator and the flap of the box clearly states it in big lettering! Not to mention the FRAGILE Please Handle With Care sticker! You could seriously use new sorters!! ASAP!! I feel sorry for the carrier! They get blamed for your poor handling skills!

I don’t know what’s going on with usps but this took almost a month to get to me and other mail and packages are not getting delivered or going to someone else not happy with what usps is doing these days

Amazingly the phone service is actually worse than the in-house service. Seriously a simple question that cant be answered by a worthless machine...

3 months at a new address and 5 times pieces of mail that do not below to me are in my mailbox (cluster boxes). 4 pieces are envelopes so I put them in the outgoing mail slot, today it was a package and I was expecting a package but this one was NOT mine. Once you put the key in the locker you cannot remove it so I have to take the package and I go to the address, no one is home so now I have to take it to the post office. The Caldwell Post Office is horrible. The supervisor would not even face me. I turned in the package and they say I will get my package! Yeah, what if the person is not as honest as me? If you can avoid the Caldwell Post Office, do so. I am reporting this to the Postal Inspector General.

Extremely rude employees. I thought they may be having a busy- rough day, but those rough days have been turned into every day I go in there.

This PO needs major improvement...We wont even go in this one anymore because of some of the desk workers being so rude. I also had a box coming in and was told it was delivered in my mailbox on Saturday which it was not there. It came today which is Monday. Ive had other boxes not delivered on time and some of them are very urgent as we have a business to run. Not sure if anything will be done to FIX this cruddy service but I sure hope it will get better...

Every time I’ve been into this office, the staff are friendly and helpful, the office is tidy, and I can get what I need done. Sometimes it gets a little bit of a line during busy seasons, but I’ve never had any problems at all.

Please answer your phone sometime. Ive been waiting for my medication delivery since Friday. Then status changed to Saturday. Now it says its still on its way. Can someone find it for me?

The heavy set short haired lady is always rude everytime I came in this post office Ive had a few good employees working at this post office but the time I get the big lady and I have always had bad experiences with her everytime I came in that post office she needs to change her attitude with customers QUICKLY!

The tall bald man is AMAZING I absolutely adore him. He is very professional. Very friendly. I love when I get him. I am a seller so I try to have my items already paid and Packaged but it doesnt always work out. Unfortunately sometimes I have to go in person and when I do I pray not to get the short heavy set woman. Sometimes I will let the person behind me go ahead if I will be helped by her. She really needs to work on it. Also they need to make sure to keep flate rate boxes and envelopes in stock. I order mine online but if I run out I cant even go down to the Caldwell post office and grab more. Because they are always cleaned out. Thank you.

Professionalism is nearly completely gone from this post office. Understaffs front desk, lines are way too long. The manager is rude, the workers are rude, the entire establishment is incompetent.

If I could give less than one star, I would. My mail gets delivered to the wrong box almost weekly. My neighbors get my mail, I get theirs, packages get delivered to the wrong box constantly. It’s as if the mailman can’t read or is in such a rush that he carelessly doesn’t pay attention to what he is doing. Got a delivery notification today, went to my mailbox to pick up the package and what do you know, it wasn’t there. Tired of this! What good is USPS if you cannot rely on them to do their job! Never ever have this issue with UPS, FedEx, or Amazon. Ridiculous!

Only a few decent employees. Many are very short with their attitudes; which you can tell trickles down from the supervision. Ive had to speak to supervisors and am treated like everything is my fault, heaven forbid you have to talk to the postmaster, he treats you like you are inconveniencing him and he doesnt care, rarely hear back from them unless you follow up regularly, even then you are better using the website to file claims as after two weeks I was told to do that.With all the negative reviews youd think something would change.

Received 4 Mother’s Day cards back today for “missing postage” yet we put $3 in the mailbox between the cards AND the four absentee postcards for the clerks office. So why wasn’t my $2.35 postage paid for with the $3 I put in with the cards?????! Pretty shady AF for my carrier and postal people to steal my $3 for MOTHERS DAY CARDS! Freaking ridiculous!

I ship packages from this location multiple times a week. Other than the occasional line around the lunch hour, wait time is generally short and Im usually in and out within 5-10 minutes. The employees are friendly enough. Especially Tom, he is extremely efficient. I always know the line will move quickly when I see him working.

Busiest post office I have ever seen. The workers all are patient and kind, sometimes blunt but never rude! People need to realize that for a business that is this busy they need to be patient! Remember these employees have to deal with all you cranky people. Be polite and make their day!

The Monday thru Friday mail delivery is fine. The Saturday person left 2 other peoples mail in my box and left the mail I was sending out....this was 8/11. We could see the one persons mail was paychecks. It would be another week before they saw those if we had sent them back. We delivered the letters to both people, at least 2 miles away. I should get an hour of pay.

The man I spoke with on the phone with both yesterday and today regarding a problem with forwarding a package to my address was extremely rude. Today, when I called to check on the status, he coldly said, Didnt I talk to you about this yesterday? I told you it was being forwarded. I explained that I had received a notice online stating the package was undelieverable and would be sent back to the sender, so thats why I was calling again. He just said, Yes, its still going to be forwarded to you. It got caught in a loop. Then he hung up. Disappointed with this locations service! I called the 1-800 number earlier and the associate I spoke with was very kind and helpful. Then, I received a phone call from one of the Boise offices and that associate was kind and helpful, too. So it just really made this locations poor service really stand out to me. Im disappointed.

With the inclement weather weve had this year in the Treasure Valley, I wouldve expected that the US Postal Service wouldve been more helpful in delivering mail, even to neighborhoods where the conditions are still a bit rough. This is not the case with the Caldwell branch of the Postal Service. I cant tell you how many times Ive had them not driver a package on time to me because our neighborhood still has a lot of snow piled up. Delivery services like UPS never let me down, and theyve still delivered all of my packages on time in this weather. Another thing that bothers me is that they say there shouldve been a notice left when they couldnt delivery my mail/packages, but there hasnt been any since the snow hit. Im very disappointed in them and I wish that less businesses would use them for shipping purposes.

The man who usually works there is polite and helpful. The service is amazingly fast. This is how a post office should be run.

Extremely unimpressed. I live in a very rural area. There is a long driveway leading up to my house. Multiple times now I have had packages dropped off on the side of the road outside the gate to my property (which is wide open). There is no excuse for this. You can very clearly see the house. Mail carriers have been putting the wrong mail in our boxes and vise versa. We had ordered a collar and according to the shipper it was delivered. We live a subdivision where theres well over 100 houses and we were told to ask our neighbors if they had the package. We had to file a claim with our bank because the post office wouldnt do anything since the shipper didnt have insurance. None of this would happen if you would put the mail in the right box to begin with. Luckily the peoples mail weve been receiving we took it to their house. Cant say the same for us... weve yet to receive our collar

Only go there for the certified mail because you have no choice. For shipping just go to UPS their business relies on efficiency and customer satisfaction not peoples apparent large waste of tax money.

I just went on there twice today same guy first time he didnt take my id saying I couldnt use it because its a temporary Id so I had to go home grab my paper saying its good for 30 days. Then he accepted it and instead of checking to see if my packed was there and he told me it left already. When I called ant told some.lady my code it was there and she grabbed it never again will I live in caldwell with shity mail service sorry caldwell for the shorty mail service

Been trying for three days to reach someone by phone. Doesnt matter if I call morning or afternoon. Phone just rings and rings until it disconnects. They leave notice of certified mail but dont provide complete information such as senders name.

My mail and packages are constantly delivered to the wrong address including life saving medication and other pills i receive from the VA. Its at a point now where Im about to file an inspector generals complaint against this post office for total failure of their job.

I needed a package by 08/04/2018 not only did I not get any of my own mail I got somebody else’s mail tried to wave delivery person down they sped up and kept driving by me very frustrated with this Saturday’s delivery person now I don’t know where my package is or if I’ll ever get it
