Beware!! Me and my two best friends rented 3 sleds for a weekend. However by the end of the first day it was getting too warm and the trails had turned to slush. We asked if he would be willing to issue a refund for day 2 as temperatures were climbing into the 50s. Eric agreed to do so. During the conversation I asked if I could get a receipt for the refund. His exact words were why are you so hung up on a receipt? I explained I had not received any documented paperwork up to this point for the rentals and want a receipt for the refund. Needless to say he did not issue a receipt and only issued half of our money back. He took us for close to $400.00 and now he will not answer any phone call myself or my two friends place to him to discuss. He is the epitome of a sketchy business owner. This is not a hate or troll review. This is a true experience that happened on February 19, 2017.

Late to review this company for a trip we took in February 2017. The long and short of our experience with this company is that we were falsely accused of damaging two sleds (there was old duct tape on the inside of the cover where Eric told us we had done the damage.) The sleds were never checked or assigned to anyone specific but we were stupid and signed the contract that said we had done a thorough walk through of the sleds. After we were accused of the damages, Eric and his partner then began to threaten our group when we refused to pay $2000 for the damage that we clearly didn’t do on cracked plastics on the sleds. Words like “Let’s settle this like real men behind the building.” Were exchanged from Eric and his partner. Our group never once got violent or threatening in response. We did however call the state police because we were afraid that we were going to be injured.Needless to say I accidentally used a debit card instead of a credit card for the rentals so when my security deposit was kept by Eric I wasn’t unable to get it back from my bank unless I went to court. We decided that the $800 wasn’t worth going back to A small town in Michigan to try to persuade a local judge that his friend was in the wrong. Also, everyone in the group got charged $50 more for gas and oil than they were told. Luckily they were able to contest the credit card charges.I hope this helps anyone going to Michigan for a snow mobiling trip. My trip cost $800 more than I was expecting because I was fortunate enough to be a part of what seems to be an ongoing scam!

On Jan 26,2018 I spoke to Eric about renting two sleds. I had been given his name as a referral from the hotel/resort I planned on staying at. I had a long list of questions for him as this was my first time renting a unit and I didn’t want any surprises. I asked specifically if I could cancel the reservation without penalty if the weather was too warm or there was no snow. A concern I had with the reservation being in the later part of February. I was assured he would refund if weather prohibited riding. I also asked about a contract and was told he would have a rental agreement when he dropped the units off at the hotel. Was a little hesitant that we wanted to charge my card the full amount as a “hold” for the reservation and without having anything in writing but agreed. I periodically checked the weather and trail reports in the Cadillac area and of course, low and behold the weekend I was due to go up, the temps rose and rain set in. The trails were in poor condition and there was no snow. I called Eric to cancel on 02/16/18 and was assured he would refund me, this was after he told me that he had 22 sleds out that day and it was snowing like crazy and tried to get me to keep my reservation. I didn’t belief his story as I was looking at a live web cam of the trails so I could see no one was on the trails in Cadillac. I patiently waited for the refund to show on my credit card. Once two weeks passed, I called Eric again, received vmails only and no return calls. I finally contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. He also did the same thing to the two other people in my party. Of course, I saw all the bad reviews later. I can see this is a persistent way that he runs business. I would suggest NO ONE do business with this place. Because of this experience, I will also not use the Hotel as there is no way they haven’t heard of the way he runs his business and I will be heading a little further North for my next trip.

I had my bike there for 9 weeks and they did nothing to it at all. Dropped it off February 5th. I had to call to get any information on the status of the bike. One time called 7 weeks later and they said I needed a part for it. I told them to order it, one week later I had to call again they said I needed another one. I got the part and called them and told them youve had my bike for 9 weeks now, you have all the parts, Id like it to be fixed by Friday. I called on a Tuesday, his response was well with that attitude i dont think we will be able to get it done by then. Erik cares more about his new business then he does about the one in Cadillac. I should have listened to the reviews prior to dropping my bike off and wasting all this time. When I finally got the bike back (in pieces and boxes) I had it together and running in three hours while watching my son play. No reason it should have taken him that long to do something so simple. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TAKE ANYTHING TO HIM!!

This was a horrible experience. Like the others, Eric took my money. We rented 2 snowmobiles for 1 day. One snowmobile had a broken ski which made it extremely hard to drive. It was swamped out after 4 hours with another which had the other ski too loose to steer. The other machine had a faulty gas cap which led to gasoline going all over my new snow pants and ruining them in below 18 cold. There was no way to drive to refill these broken machines so we dropped them off early. Eric apologized stating he would not charge me for gas. I should have gotten that in writing. When I got home he had charged nearly 100.00 for gas on my credit card. I called him and he said he remembered his promise not to charge me for gas and that he would take care of it. He did not. He stopped answering phones, and wrote 2l letters to American express stating I had signed a form agreeing to pay the gasoline charge. When I got the forms I saw Eric had filled them out,. He will not return the money. I rented these in connection with a stay at a local hotel which is nice and are trying to reason with him. I think they should dump him. DO NOT RENT FROM HIM EVER!!

Terrible experience. Eric the owner rents you 10 year old sleds for the same price other places rent you brand new reliable machines. Our group rented two snowmobiles from him. You can tell he didnt check either machine before it left his shop. We ended up changing the spark plugs on both machines and having one towed back to our hotel. Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else.

This guy is a crook. Charged us $2200 extra for dates we dont even know how they happened or if it was us. Sounds like a nice guy but had a goon stand over us as he explained the charges. Felt threatened and helpless. Do not use this guy!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Went to Michigan for my batchelor party and while we had a great time, our interaction with M&M was a blight on the weekend. We all had to split a bunch of extra and unfair costs that continued to materialize as time went on. Another poster hit the nail on the head when they said that other places rent new sleds (read:not 2003) for the same price. The amount we were charged for COSMETIC damage that was NOT on our watch was GREATER than the cost of buying the exact sled on Craigslist. Either go with another company or find another way to spend a day. Strongly recommend doing anything but renting sleds with this company.
