Bad day with Hertz. First car had a light came up so manager was nice enough to offer a different vehicle. Second car started acting up as if it was going to shut down while we were almost at destination but we made it safely and dropped car off thankfully. No fault of the staff.

If you want to put your life in danger, rent from here. My rental smelled like smoke, which I can get past. Part way into my trip the change oil and the low tire pressure light came on, and it was leaking fast enough that I had to add air 2 times in 3 days. But the real problem was when I ran into rain on the interstate and immediately starting hydroplaning. After stopping I came to find out the 2 rear tires were 100% bald and smooth. I did not think I had to inspect a rental car from a popular rental before I drove it.So, I had to extend my trip because I could not drive in the rain which cost more money.And when I returned it, I talked to and showed the manager, he apologized and told me he would refund some money for my troubles. But he did not.

I have been patiently waiting on my survey. I’d like to share my most recent experience with the hertz in butler pa located at Diehl automotive on Rt 8. First and foremost I’d like to share that I have been a hertz member for years and will not rent from anyone else because of the exceptional service hertz had offered me. Well needless to say the experience I had in May was by far the worst service that Hertz had ever given me. I rented a rouge or similar for 8 days. When the customer service rep gave me the vehicle it was a Ford eco boost a lot smaller than I expected . There was no way that vehicle would hold 5 people plus 5 luggages so I asked if I could upgrade he denied me. Next was the cleanliness of the vehicle. Mud everywhere food crumbs on the seats And in the cup holders. I’ve tried to attach pictures for your viewing but was unable but I’m more than happy to provide them.I brought it to his attention and he asked if I wanted to come back in 3 hours when someone would be able to come in and start their day to clean it. This was unacceptable to me. I paid in full a month in advance and it should have been ready . You stated in this email and I quote “Of course, your safety remains our priority. Our team continues to disinfect every car – twice – before applying the Hertz Gold Standard Clean seal. That way, you always rent confidently knowing you’re the first inside after a thorough sanitization.”When I brought this to his attention I asked to be upgraded again I was denied. Next I did not know how to open the hatch and he gave me attitude when I asked for assistance. I didn’t care that it was raining that day I needed help! Finally I’m on my way to my destination around midnight I’m just about there and needed washer fluid because it was empty!!! Didn’t have it no place to get it on back roads in Florida . To make matters worse 10 miles from my destination the change oil light came on . I called the next day and spoke with Ron210062387 confirmation number.He told me to go25 miles to the nearest pep boys they can check the oil because I refused to look under the hood for the oil tank ! First off this is not my responsibility and 2 this is why I rented a car so I didn’t have to worry about this while on vacation!! No one I repeat no one would help me out !Then I return the car a day early with3/4 of a tank of gas which is what they had given me again I can provide a pic and they charged my card for gas!! Worst service ever!!! I am tempted to place negative reviews all over social media and the internet because nothing was done to satisfy your customers! In today’s life COvid is a big threat to everyone’s health and your facility put mine and my fathers health at risk! The hertz golden standard was not held up to par with this Gold Hertz Member !!SincerelyKelly

Didnt have no record of my rental on due date 3 weeks later..???They had no suv comparable to our lexus SUV that was being repaired..was promised a car 3 weeks prior that would be comparable..They had a new SUV Said it was rented..bullcrap!! Gave us a compact nissan ..to small for my wife to work out of.. on her job..will not use them again or enterprise...greedy all about money!!

Wouldn’t allow my wife to rent car over phone! Offered fax, 1000 cash deposit. No go! Stranded and ill, with service dog. My wife is driving 13 hours by herself, because of your lack of help! I offered double the rental rate. I’m praying she makes it safe!

Im so happy too have had the pleasure and honor to get a rental from your Butler PA hub, the people who served me went above and beyond to help me at the time of my need of a vehicle . When my was down . I wanted to say that Brad and Megan at the Butler PA hertz was the best they kept me calm when I was thinking the worse about my car and garenteeing me that I was in good hands about getting a rental. They were very accommodating and friendly! Very helpful too tgey came the whole way to Oil City to pick the car up so I didnt have to find a ride home.
