Showed up around 12:30 and it was SWAMPED. This is probably 1/3rd of the customers that were in line. BK helped me and was great. However, there was one gal who was clearly the bloodline of this office and that was Amanda. Management I really hope you’re taking care of her as you don’t find employees like this often at USPS locations.
Literally the worst delivery service there is! I don’t know who runs this location but they need to figure something out! Have lost many of our packages and constantly get notices that they are “unable to deliver” to my address when Amazon and any other service has no problem! This is ridiculous, do better!
I made a appointment at 11:45 am for applying a passport for my son. The post master was busy chatting with other person. we waited till 12:45 and knock the door two time. He just kept saying 5 more minutes please. this is very unprofessional behavior. Authorities needs to take look at this locations customer service.
Always seems to have a line and some workers need help knowing what to do.Guy went above and beyond to help us mail a package. That was awesome!
Very hard working clerks up front! Have had great service every time I’ve went there, even when the lines were backed up.
We had a appointment scheduled for 2:15pm on 2/26/21 at the Burnsville Minnesota USPS to obtain our passports. We arrived as scheduled 15 minutes prior to our appointment. The individuals in front of us in line also had a appointment scheduled for 2pm and indicated they had not yet received service. At around 2:30pm, the individuals in front of us went into their appointment for a passport and shortly after excited with the customer service representative behind them. The customer service person loudly indicated to them in a stern voice that they were not prepared with the copies of their identification. They responded by explaining they had not been aware they needed copies. The customer service agent then proceed to again loudly exclaim they needed copies while slamming his hand on the sign on this door that said copies needed. They asked if they could pay for copies and he yelled that someone had damaged their copier and they no longer had one. We also did not have copies of our documentations as we were not aware they were required. Therefore, my husband immediately left USPS to go obtain the copies at a nearby FedEx while I waited in line for our appointment time. About 10 minutes later, the same customer service person arrived and I explained to him that we were not aware we needed any copies and my spouse would be back shortly with them. He loudly screamed at me with his arms failing about saying again we need copies. I explained to him that we had received a email prior to our appointment providing instructions on the application process and documents required which did not indicate we needed copies of any of the documents or we would have been prepared. I told him it was unnecessary and unprofessional to scream at me. He responded by again screaming at me and slamming his office door in my face. I stayed in the line and waited for my spouse to return. My spouse returned soon afterwards with the copies. We waited another 25 minutes before he would help us and at that point he did not have any other customers in line. When we inquired from the front desk customer service agent if he was returning to process our passports she stated, He is stressed and has like 10 jobs to do. We continued to patiently wait. There were no chairs to sit in which would be difficult for someone that is disabled. He returned around 3pm. He was still upset by our initial encounter as was evidenced by his body language and tone of voice. During the appointment he was inappropriate with the conversation and made us both feel extremely uncomfortable . He started the appointment by asking us, What was the worst day of your work life ever. We felt this was a odd question for a passport appointment and were both caught off guard. He quickly replied to his own question by sharing a graphic narrative of how he had been shot in the back by friendly fire during combat service. He also went into private details about his hospital stay. He continued to talk nonstop during the appointment with inappropriate conversations. At one point he stated, Be careful while at the airport with your passport, people are always watching you. He also told my husband, I better get your passport done today or you will flick me off. I have never had such a inappropriate and unprofessional appointment before. As a licensed clinical mental health social worker, I am concerned about his mental health and feel he is unfit to provide customer service We will never return to that USPS location.
I have lived in the area for 38 years. I can always count on Burnsville Post office to be there and as efficient as they can be, esp. during the pandemic and reduced staff. It is also one of the busiest POs in the area. Lakeville needs a new, larger PO so that we dont have to go to Burnsville.
Really! My package was attempted to be delivered at 2:35pm however I was right behind you at around 9:30am. And now it is being held at the post office?? Doubt it!
I had the worst experience at the Burnsville location. The supervisor was completely rude and so was every other staff member I talked to. They lost my wedding invites and then said they’d call me when they found them. I mailed them but there wasn’t enough postage so they kept them at the location. When I went to pick them up they lost them and one of the workers literally said to me “the workers here don’t care about your mail, they’ll throw it where ever and it gets lost”... excuse me what?! So I never recieved a call back and then people started getting there invites so I thought everything was great until I checked my mail and they dropped off 25 of them all marked up saying they needed more postage which I already knew because I’d been waiting for them to call me back saying they found them. So I was so mad because my invites were marked up with 2 different kinds of stamps and one of them literally in huge letters says “needs more postage” on LITERALLY all of the invites I recieved back. Are you kidding?! I knew it needed more postage I went to pick it up and you lost it! The supervisor when I called said that it happens all the time, as i that’s just acceptable to lose peoples mail. Extremely annoying when you spend $300 on wedding invites
Slowest place ever. They tried to put me in a different line to save time and Im standing here watching the original line dwindle down behind me. What a waste of my time Ill never get back. Hire some people for crying out loud. Edit: Changed from 1 to 2 star. Thank you Kevin for having clear communication and taking care of this. Was going in circles and I wasnt sure it was going to end. Really hard to believe that that is a federal building.
Id give 0 stars if I could
I am so tired of the mail person hitting my mail box. They have now damaged it enough that my flag is no longer useable.. When trying to contact them by phone you get an automated service that prevents you from talking to an individual. So disappointed with the mail carrier and the automated service.
Bad bad customer service! 7/26/21….
2 star delivery service. 2 star technology infrastructure. 4 star customer service. This place regularly has delivery people fail to attempt to properly deliver mail and then not reattempt to deliver the mail. UPS and FedEx have never had a problem properly delivering mail. When you go to pick up your package at their place it looks run down and doesnt have a clear indication of where you pick up your packages. The employees there have no technology infrastructure to look up the location of your package and have to just run around with a tracking number for several minutes to find your package. They dont know if your package is even in the building most of the time so if it was returned to sender theyll keep searching until they give up on finding it.This lack of technology infrastructure is wasting both customer and employee time. One time I had to wait for 35 minutes for one customer to be told that they dont have mail here and 15 more minutes to pick up my package. If I ever had to do this at UPS or FedEX it wouldve taken like 3 - 7 minutes.I have been pleased with how much effort the employees go through to help you find your stuff but this place is ridiculous.
Would be a Zero but that was not an option. Over 10 minutes of Automated questions with no live person when calling. Frequently do not receive my mail and receive others mail and frequently have packages delivered that are not mine and/or have my packages sent to other streets. How can any service be this incompetent ?
Slow! TWICE my packages ARRIVED at this location showing the status of OUT FOR DELIVERY and NEVER was delivered. SOMEONE IS STEALING! I want to give negative stars as representation of this location thats why 1 is all it gets. This just started happening within the last year. Unacceptable!
Edited my review. Thank you for finally replacing your parking lot. Mail delivery to the PO Boxes seem to be improving and I hope it continues to get better.
Please stop and consider the limited staffing and general limitations that any government entity has before you post poor reviews. Treat these people the way you would like to be treated and you might be surprised how they respond. I dont even live in Burnsville; but still go out of my way to visit this location. The people here are great. Its the Post Office people, not McDonalds; just allocate a little more time.
I received awesome customer service today. I had four boxes to pack and seal. The attendant helped me so much with sealing and getting the packages ready to mail. I really appreciate it!! Thank you very much!
We get mail every other day at best, and delivery attempts are not made... We have a home office and are home all day so we know. I keep requesting redelivery of a package because I dont want to drive 25 minutes to go pick it up and nothing....
Had to ship out gifts and international mail. The cashier was super helpful and answered my million questions about international stamps/letters.
I feel like the post office is sooooo behind that i an no longer using their services. Every single package -even when i paid more was later and later. Im dissapointed because my driver is super cool and i can always hear the truck three blocks away with its broken muffler. You guys fixed that muffler which was a bummer for the kids who got excited to see it.
Was really pleased with my experience here earlier today. Bill was very polite and helpful while trying his best to figure out what happened to my package. Made a confusing and unpleasant experience better!
I scheduled an appointment here to process an application for a passport. I’ve never had an incredibly positive experience here, but the post office isn’t anyone’s favorite place, so I’ve accepted it and moved on. Today though, I came to my “appointment” ten minutes early as advised online. I came with all necessary documents; my printed application, my check written out to the appropriate entity, an old passport (issued at age 15), a birth certificate, two recent certified passport photos and a driver’s license. I had read the instructions twice and to my knowledge, was fully prepared.I walk up to the counter when called (it’s now past my scheduled appointment time) and tell the woman what I am there to do. She responds with “they do passports here?”Okay, I see where this is going. I step back from the counter and go to wait specifically for the man who has shouted from the other end of the counter that only he can do passports. I waited patiently for him to finish with the customer he’s helping, but instead of helping me when he finishes, he helps the next person in line. By now I’ve been waiting almost 20 minutes. I get up to the counter and he looks over my documents. I present him with not two but three forms of ID at which point he starts rudely telling me I should have photocopies as well. I tell him I had read that I needed to bring originals and have copies made there. He continues yelling about how the copy machine is broken there and I will need to go to FedEx, but at some point in his rant decides he’ll find a way to make copies there, but does so in a manner that tells me I am a rather large inconvenience. He tells me I’m wrong and that I read the instructions wrong, then walks away from me as I’m still speaking to him. Sadly, he returns with the same sunny disposition he left with.I’ll be the first to admit I may have dropped the ball on the copies. I also feel it was evident I put effort into assuring the job was made as easy as possible. I don’t feel as though anyone should be treated so rudely period, let alone from someone in a customer service role (I should add I work in a customer service oriented role as well, and can never imagine an interaction like this with a customer. Had this man not already had my check and personal documents in hand, I would have left immediately. The inadequacy/lack of knowledge and abounding disrespect I experienced is enough to keep me from going back. I wish I had the option to give zero stars...
Usps.com
My neighbors and I spend more time delivering mail to each other since we get each others mail in our boxes.Yesterday I was expecting a package . My daughter went to get the mail and found a missed delivery notice that should have been stuck to my front door. It stated that a dog was barking . I have the ring doorbell and I get notifications if motion as well as doorbell rings . There were zero notifications of any USPS driver stepping foot near my door much less ringing my doorbell . There were two of us here at that time and our dogs had not barked at all during the time they claimed attempted delivery . If you were near my door why not just leave the notice stuck to my door instead of my mailbox ? The Ring doorbell monitoring doesnt lie . I wish some of the drivers from the Burnsville PO had as much integrity.
HAS MISSED 3 pickup times for our business just this week!!!!!!!
Unreliable. Deliveries of the parcels are often not even attempted. Today (Saturday) I got “Missed you” note in my mailbox and I was home. My Ring camera shows that he never even stepped out of the truck.Called customer service and they said they are not going to make him come back and deliver and suggested that I can try to drive around and locate him myself if I need my package.UPDATE: 4 months later - same thing. Im home, got notification from Amazon that delivery attempt has failed. Found Missed you note in my mailbox at the end of the driveway. Ring camera shows no attempt to deliver - driver never left the vehicle.
White haired older lady was very rude. Wouldnt look up an order status to make sure the package was there after tracking said it was. Said come back later and it might be here, she never looked it up even. Very rude.
Got a notification that my package was undeliverable at my address. I called them and asked if I could catch the package before it was returned to the shipper. They found it and asked if I wanted a redeliver attempt or to pick it up. Awesome. I tell them Ill pick it up since I live 10 minutes away.I get there and after about 20-30 minutes of looking they cant find it. How did they lose a package in 10 minutes? They ask for my name and number and say theyll have the postal carrier call me when he/she returns. Its closing time as I type this. Im pretty sure I wont be getting that call.Dont expect this post office to find your package.Update: I got that call. They called to tell me they couldnt find the package and that theyd follow up the next day with another call. They didnt.
Excellent post office, kind and helpful staff, convenient hours. Cant believe theres so many harsh reviews but not really. Seems as though people are paying for personalized service or something so there entitled to write negative comments. Thank you USPS employees, I know you work long hours, rain, sleet or snow with some of the worst vehicles available, and sometimes animals attack. I appreciate you sorting all that mail for your route and trying your best to deliver on time. When you receive such selfish reviews dont take them to heart. I always say you have to consider the source and usually the source had never walked in your shoes. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Horrible service. Three times now they have attempted to deliver some amazon packages but they never arrive the day they are scheduled. My amazon app updates later that evening saying a delivery was attempted buy my front door is not accessible. Not sure why they keep doing this as two of the times I was standing by the window waiting for them to get out and complete the delivery, but they sit there for one minute and then drive away. Lazy and worthless. Hopefully amazon stops contracting out deliveries to USPS soon.
Absolutely awful experience with “Supervisor” Kevin Scott. I was sold a money order a month ago, that just came back as FRAUDULENT from the receiver’s bank. I no longer had the receipt since I hadn’t heard anything to the contrary. I was told by Kevin that there wasn’t anything they could do if I didn’t know the associate that helped me and the exact time I came in. Nothing you can do about $1000 of my money? His attitude was TERRIBLE, especially considering the situation. He repeatedly said this is my fault since I don’t have my receipt. You would think that they would be trying to help rectifying the situation seeing as they sold a BAD MONEY order and are legally responsible. I’d advise against getting a money order from there.
I have had a positive experience at this post office every time I’ve gone. The manager today helped me deal with an issue I had and I felt heard and I know the issue will be resolved.
I dont know where you guys found Scooter at but you better hold on tight and pay that guy triple. By far the best customer service I have ever had at a post office or government facility period. Appreciate the help Scooter! Even with my 6 packages you helped me with last minute on a Saturday, you were up beat and providing terrific service to the end of the work day!
Apparently one of the mailworkers broke our mailboxes at my apartment building so I havent been getting mail well over a month. Its ridiculous that I need to go to the post office just to get my mail. And of course all of my packages are going through USPS so Im never getting those on time. Truly afraid something is gonna get lost. The place is pretty messy too. Terrible service.
Kevin at the office saved my day. I am waiting for a window switch for my defective one. Currently at office but missed delivery. It is raining and windows are half down. Kevin was kind enough to check and pull it for me to pick up. Greatly appreciated
Apparently my USPS Driver had a Medical Emergency the day my package was suppose to arrive Friday 11/23/18 so it says its being HELD AT CUSTOMERS REQUEST which is fine until I came in on 11/24/18 the following day to pick up MY OWN PACKAGE instead. Waited about 20 mins, no biggie as I understand the wait time. Some supervisor or manager swung by and assisted me. He concluded that my package is in the Re-delivery stash so just let it be redelivered out to me the same day. 11/24/18 Saturday..so said alright I will go back at home and wait...Ended up seeing the USPS Carrier do its usual route..no package..just letter mail..
I had my 2nd complaint today & i didnt recieved my mail when informed delivery email notification stated im suppose 2 get certain mail & i didnt.. When i send like emails or my mother send emails we dont get a response back!!
Terrible service every time I go. I just spent 1/2 hour waiting to send a package to my brother in the navy when I was only one of two people there.
According to a lot of these reviews the people who live around here don’t get mail reliably. Whether that’s the case or not the branch itself is great. No lines and polite helpful staff when I had to ship some packages.
The folks at the front desk have exceptional customer service skills, and are very friendly. However, the logistics are very poor. Our neighborhood gets mail until after dusk, multiple times letters are delayed and they have lost some of my mail. One day the Savage office stopped delivering and Burnsville took over. Our mail is no longer handled efficiently.
The people are nice but the logistics are terrible. Well over an hour just to talk to someone on the phone. They held my package at the request of the customer even though I requested no such thing. I shouldnt have to drive nearly an hour round trip to pick up a package that should have been delivered the day before...
Call their phone number and you’ll understand why
Rudest employees who care nothing about whether anything actually gets delivered to the right person. They dont answer the phone, and they do not care about the quality of the work they do. Absolutely terrible.
If your package doesnt fit in the mailbox, they will never get out of their vehicle to put it at the door. Then when they update the tracking of the package they lie and say the driveway and front door are inaccessible! I get that theyre very busy but this is their job and why lie about it. Hate that our packages have to go through Burnsville now.
When they delivered late, always notify that they are unable to access mailbox. big packages were often squeezed in mailbox, no delivery to front door.
I live in Burnsville, MN and got notified that Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location. I live in a house with the mailbox right outside... there is no way that they werent able to access the location. They listed the time that they were unable to access the delivery location... which coincidentally I have the Ring Doorbell that records when someone drives past my house. No USPS driver drove past my house during the time they attempted delivery. USPS said that they would attempt delivery the next business day..3 business days later with no attempt to deliver I submit a claim with USPS online. I then get notified that my package is being held at the Savage, MN post office at the customers request which I never requested- and why would it be held in Savage and not the Burnsville post office? I get to the Savage post office and was told that this location doesnt hold packages for people and that the USPS site may say that my package is at this location but it is really at the Burnsville, MN post office and would have to go there. Are you kidding me?I then go over to the Burnsville post office where I wait 20 minutes in line and the employee told me that my package wouldnt be there because it was out for delivery. I show him the information that USPS gave me and he said that although the information says it is being held, it is on a truck still out for delivery and to come back tomorrow. He never attempted to look to see if my package was there and just kept telling me to come back tomorrow.Would give 0 stars if I was able to.
I had my mail on hold for 30 days then called and asked for a one week extension on that hold and the man I talked to said that was fine and it was taken care of. I went into the post office today (one day before the end of the hold) and my mail wasnt there. All my mail got sent back to the senders. I have important mail, bills and tolls that I cannot pay without those pieces of mail. Beyond inconvenient for me and it will probably cost me money in late fees. Cant even trust this post office to simply hold my mail.
I had a package that was to be delivered to my apartment yesterday. There wasnt even an attempt to deliver. They didnt buzz our apartment at all, and I have it on my video security camera that someone was awake and ready to accept the package. When you buzz my apartment, it calls my phone directly, and I never received it. They said that there was no way to the door in their notes, when the sidewalk was cleared, parking spots available and the front door was unlocked. They just didnt even attempt it.
Has to be the worst branch in the country! Continually get other people’s Mail. Today 4 of the 6 multi tenant boxes were left wide open. Unacceptable! Saw another review whining about staffing?!? That shouldn’t affect how the quality of the job gets completed.
No mail delivered in my neighborhood for 2 going on 3 days now. Not just me, my neighbors as well. Tried calling to see what is going on. Cant get a hold of anyone. Wait times 38-59 minutes to talk to a rep! I would like to know what is going on!
HORRIBLE MAIL SERVICE... CRIMINAL TRUMP ADMINISTRATION
I love how these scum bags make creepy nsa style commercials then block comments. Real American there. Nothing says American like censorship and making my business your business. Actually your business is supposed to be delivering my stuff without asking questions, but you cant even do that better than a private company.
My 11 year old son has brain cancer. We just spent almost two weeks in the hospital, as he recovered from his fourth brain tumor resection. There was important mail that I was waiting for, and I knew what was in the mailbox because of my USPS photo mail emails - so I wasn’t worried about sending someone to bring it in. When I got home, we had an empty mailbox and there was a note scribbled from the carrier that I could barely make out to say that because our mailbox was full, they are taking our mail and returning it to senders. Thanks, USPS - for making a difficult time in life even more difficult.
The employee at the counter has a horrible attitude. Went there on 2/2/19 @10am. He was condescending to the other employee working behind the counter. I asked for a Medium Priority box because all there was on the sales floor were Medium Priority Flat Rate boxes. He shook his head at me and went to the back, and came out with a Medium Flat Rate box. I told him I needed a Medium Priority box, not a flat rate box. He went to the back again and came out with Flat Rate boxes and told me thats all he orders is Flate Rate boxes. He wasnt focused. I usually dont complain about people, but I feel he not someone that should be working with customers.
I have never seen mail handled SO badly. My package was ripped open badly...like a BIG rip... clearly the mail man shoved it with force no care in the world and other papers mashed along with it. Luckily i didnt have anything fragile or else it would be in pieces! You guys will be hearing from me soon because a toddler can handle a package better. Pff just had one job.....put the mail in the box GENTLY.
Unreliable service is becoming a pattern. Every morning I get an email from the USPS showing what is supposed to arrive in my mailbox that day but then every once in a while nothing comes. I put out a letter with the flag up on Sunday and it is now Tuesday night and the flag is still up and the letter is still in the mailbox untouched. This is the second time this winter I’ve gone two days in a row with no mail delivered (and no, these were not bad weather days). I also recently shipped a package that was never delivered because, according to USPS tracking, it never even made it out of the Burnsville facility. Even after filing a complaint they were unable to locate it. Poor reliability overall.
I have lived in Burnsville 15plus years. Postal service use to be great back a few years. It’s horrible now. I recently moved from one address to another in Burnsville within the last year. I always forward mail, make sure last name is displayed in the box etc., so the problems started at my old address where I wasn’t receiving mail, it was being delivered weeks late, or my neighbor was getting my mail such as bank statements etc. like I said we moved and we have a different mail carrier at new address. I’m not getting my mail, the post office is losing it, my neighbors are getting my mail etc. I have a app on my phone called informed which shows me scanned pictures of my mail letters coming to my house so that’s exactly how I know I’m not receiving certain pieces. We’ve had several pieces of mail that were extremely important from various government agencies such as social security that we never received. EXTREMELY frustrating. If you try and call social security the wait times on hold are always at least one hour wait. This week my daughter didn’t receive her social sec check after I saw a picture of being scanned by post office knowing it was coming. I called the post office and talked to a man with a thick foreign accent who wrote my name and number down but no one returned my call. I physically went into the post office today where a older crabby cocky blonde guy gave me a hard time and his answer to everything was I dunno. It was suggested to me that maybe someone has sticky fingers and I could contact the postal police. I’ve come to the conclusion no one care, I’m not important, and to never trust the post office. This is what I’ve dealt with in the last few years. It’s not been one or two incidents but many. I’m being told to be patient! Really? I now have to call social security and wait on hold for one hour, jump through their hoops, and then wait up to 15 days to have a replacement check sent. Will the replacing check get lost too? In the mean time my daughter may go without the things she needs and relies on. With all my lost mail over the last few years I wonder who has seen or has my personal information at their hands? No one will take responsibility for these mistakes or hold anyone accountable with mistakes. I do try and conduct most of my business via email, fedex, ups, direct deposit Etc but not everything can be done that way. The US Postal service needs to step their game up and learn a little about customer service before their completely driven out of commission.
Standing in line as a type this. Currently there >10 people waiting in line (line is to the door). Only have one person working the counter. Gary working the counter literally just said thats just the way it is in response to the line. You can hear multiple employees in the back.Second person (Bill) just came to work counter, told first guy others are in back on break; currently 9:50, and they opened at 8:30.Another person came up and helped, she (no name tag) was the one who assisted me and was a delight. She also paged for people to come up front and got all three tills going to clear out the line, while dealing with a customer who was upset because they filled out a mail hold instead of a change of address. She is the sole reason this is a 3-star and not a 1-star. Gary was aware of the line and issue and did nothing about it, just shrugged it off with his comment. He has been like this on multiple visits to this location: coarse, uncaring, not rude, but definitely in the I dont care range.
Saturday morning, 8pp in line only 1 counter person. When the 2nd person finally showed up the two of them were busy talking to each other instead of trying to break the line down. Gave the rating a two since I was feeling generous for the holidays.
Not a shock they are out of money... 9 am line out the door and one person working with zero urgency
It shouldn’t take 20 minutes with one customer. USPS needs to figure out how to hire workers who can ring up customers with some efficiency. They’re illiterate. Can’t count, can’t figure out the printer, this is your job!!! Longest 46 mins of my life. Never again. No wonder usps is losing money each year. I’ve never waited this long in a line at UPS or FEDEX. Negative stars. Avoid this location if at all possible.
Service is slow, but now that they have the automatic kiosks its better to go to ship things when the back closes (after 5pm). But if youre having trouble with an undelivered package? Forget it. Once they kept leaving a slip saying they couldnt deliver the package, one slip dated and time stamped when I was physically in my house. Also our mail person always leaves us mail from other houses, sometimes streets away. Makes me wonder how much of my mail is ending up elsewhere.
Ordered something through amazon but I guess they wanna deliver it on the day the office of my building is closed. So instead of holding it for even 12 hours for me to pick it up, they decide to just return it without even emailing or calling me! Very upsetting
The WORST office to have things left at. Package left at office? GOOD LUCK getting someone to pickup so you can have it delivered when you dont have a car.I only called as a package says it was delivered to the front desk until xx-xx date, and I work until ALL the way until the day after. The package wasnt at the front desk, and no packages had left by carrier.Im not about to walk an hour there and an hour back, bring a short work day, I would still be late and I wont be available to try picking it up until next week....
I live in an apartment complex in Burnsville and I stopped getting my mail out of the blue. I went to the Burnsville Post Office several times and also spoke with Charlie and other managers at this post office over the phone. I contacted this Burnsville Post Office about 8 times and nothing was done. My mail wasnt being held at the post office. It was getting returned to sender even though I hadnt moved. I didnt have any any mail for 6 months. They said they would talk to my carrier Rhonda but they could never get a hold of her as she wouldnt answer her phone so the problem persisted. This didnt get resolved until a new manager arrived for this post office and he finally got a hold of Rhonda and I started getting some mail although somewhat sporatically, however some mail was still getting returned to sender. Theres some weeks I dont get any mail. My mail comes in a bundle so they deliver several days mail at one time. The MN Arboreteum tried to mail my membership card but it was returned to sender. They contacted the Burnsville post office and they said I no longer live there (even though they are delivering some mail to me at this address). They said I didnt leave a forward address. There wasnt a forwarding address because I still live at the address they sent the mail to!! This post office has the worst service I have ever experienced in my life!! They are so inept!
My package has been at the post office for two days!! I need this package for work (to actually do my job)! I’ve ordered from this brand before and have never had delivery issues before up until a month ago, same scenario- package has been in Burnsville for 2+ days. I’m not sure if the driver in new and forgets where they need to go?
If i could give a zero you would get it. How many times do have to deliver my mail to the wrong place to get it right. You wonder why you will go out of business its very easy your incompetence. I didnt think you could be any worse but shocker you as re.
Our postal carrier has on multiple occasions just decided NOT to deliver our mail. At one point I was waiting for a text book for a class and it said it was supposed to be delievered 3 days in a row. I finally went to the office, they told me he was just driving around with it, were not sure why he hasnt delivered it now the today its the same thing. We get a notice in the post box he can drive up to stating he attempted to deliver our package, except he didnt because there were 4 of us home in the living room that would have heard the door. The guy is just too lazy to get out and walk the 15 feet to the door if something has to the door. He also likes to just hang onto mail for days/weeks. To top it off every time I have tried to ring the post office itself, including today, it just goes straight to a busy signal-for over an hour. No answer ever. Its like they start their day by taking the phone off the hook. Terrible. If course, nothing will change. Unfortunately.
This post office needs to burn ! mail delivery and distribution in savages slow inefficient and inconsistent, packages get thrown when delivered ....shameful ! we have waited for a package for over a week that we know is in their possession - today they cited “animal interference” for not delivering .... we don’t even have a pet !!!!. What a joke - where is the manager of this facility ?
Extremely slow, inefficient and clearly understaffed. What can you expect from the government?!? Employees were nice but doesnt really matter when you can wait for up to an HOUR in line. Figure it out USPS!
I am someone who ships packages frequently. The employees here are friendly and move things along as quickly as they can. I dont understand what everyone else has a bee in their bonnet about.
Ive been waiting for a gift from my boyfriend for 2 weeks now they told him that USPS delivered it to the door and left a note stating where you could pick it up and what you could do to call for it to be redelivered. They never showed up to my door they never left a message they entire process has been under and investigation for weeks now they dont know where it even is.... You cant just lie to people about this kind of stuff if people pay and trust you enough to send a package send the package. Weve spent weeks in a constant state of worry and panicked. Weve tried to get ahold of people but no one is ever willing to pick up or if we do they just follow a little guideline that doesnt give you a straight answer until you yell and scream at them, the people we talked to said we cant pick it up its under investigation then they said its at a local mail delivery company we asked what one they fought us just to tell us it was at USPS then we asked what one they just said we dont know. At this point I dont care about anything I just want my package and Ill never mail anything ever again through here you have my word. Never send anything you extremely care about or is expensives through here.
They said they couldnt gain access to the front door. I was home when they allegedly tried to deliver my package. I was here at the time! They didnt even try and this isnt the first time this has happened. Terrible service.
These folks dont care at all about business delivery. I dont have a problem with our normal guy, but anybody is else lazy as ever! Today they decided to not open our door but throw the mail under it so they didnt have to pick up any mail on the other side of the door.....let alone this is a business with people walking in and out the door....so frustrating! This is a 5 story building, you had to come in no matter what, we had mail you lazy jackhole! #hirepeoplewhocare #willingtohuntudowninmybuilding
Every time I come here there is an extremely long line that takes about 30 minutes to get to the front, they almost always have only one employee working the front. Decided to go to UPS, much faster.
People working at the Burnsville Post office have always served with a smile and are very efficient. Sometimes the lines are long, but our experience has always been service with a smile even on very busy days.
It was 2 box i just get 1 box still waiting for the ather one one month now from the day i send by my self in istanbul
Called all day and always got busy signal sounds they just put the handset next to the phone. Tried calling main customer support and got disconnected on twice after waiting for 40+ minutes. Came there after work waited 20 minutes and when it was my turn clerk lady said that they are closed. (there were only 2 people left in line total)I warned her that Im typing it all in Google reviews and the response was Please do, so, here it is.
What is the point of passport appointments if they are always 20+ minutes late for the appointment??? This happened at three different appointment times for getting my kids passports
Ive never had a bad experience here (unlike at the Lakeville post office). I go out of my way to come here as the staff is always friendly and are willing to step up and be helpful. The best example I have is today I came in with a pretty heavy package all ready to ship, and the gentleman at the counter helped me repackage it in a different package to cut my shiping cost in half! If that doesnt speak to care for customers I dont know what will.
They are speedy and nice. Appreciate the hard work they do as they are busy!
I rented a PO Box for a about 6 years. I turned in my key at the end of my rental period, and then was automatically billed to my visa for an additional year! I have called, stopped in, written notes, spoken to the manager who told me more than once Yes - i will get that reimbursement to you asap - there is a problem with the system because it will do the auto billing without looking at the account. This has been going on for more than 6 months! I need ti resolved ASAP but do not know where to turn. Very disappointing.
Our regular carrier is the best I know when she is on vacation because the mail does not come till 4:00 then when they do arrive they dont take the letters/packages I put in the mail on 2 different occasions, yesterday 2 different mail carriers visited our house one dropped off 2 packages and another brought showed up and hour later. It takes two to replace one person I dont look forward to the day she retires.
I just called up their office and they said call wait time would be an hour and a half to two hours. Just a ridiculous joke of a business and of course my package says delivered yesterday but theres nothing here, so Im disabled and wanted to find out whats going on but Im not sitting on hold for two hours for a twelve dollar package. Their also always a huge line of people and just one or maybe two people helping customers but they have three teller booths available. Worst postal experience you can have and just bad business, but they never fix it despite all the bad reviews, they just dont care. Were forced to deal with them so its our problem not theirs.
Love the employees. They always make it nice to be there!
This place is a joke. I just called because my package was marked as delivered to front desk when it wasnt so i called to ask the clerk and she hung up on me. If you hate your job quit.
I came after hours. It was pitch black in the parking lot! No lights on the outside of the building or in the parking lot! Not safe! Not happy!
I ordered Pearl Necklace and Earrings as a gift. The sender did not insure, they say they were delivered to my secure and locked mailbox (Commercial Property), and I have camera footage showing they WERENT delivered, but that is NOT enough to file a claim, because the sender did not insure. Worst Post Office in the Twin Cities.
Lost/ stolen package out of drop box
For the 3rd time at my apartment in 6 months the usps driver has left all the mailboxes unlocked and open
They need to figure out better hours at this location. And why do all my packages get sent to this location when there are 2 usps locations closer to me.... annoying place to do business with.
I cant get through the line is busy and I need an important package I just want to t know when they will bring it to me! The itinerary says it will arrive today, but its not here!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Constantly losing or misplaced my mail. Zero help is offered by any staff there. Was hung up on by the last employee I spoke with. Terrible customer service.
This post office has lost 3 pieces of mail and delivered one to the wrong address. At first I thought that it was maybe the specific mail driver that delivered to my house that was screwing things up, but upon changing the delivery address to my work address, I learned that that was not the case! NOPE, this person also managed to mis-deliver my package! The people working there are cranky and short staffed and cant seem to be able to help me with any of my misplaced packages or fix whatever it is that is going wrong. Phone line is constantly busy, which forces me to have to come in to talk to them about issues. The line is always a nice 30+ minute wait. Worst post office ever.
I called in ref to a package to be delivered to me in Pa, Postal worker look up tracking number date and verified info with me ....now I feel comfortable.
The employee I encountered was very spacey and couldnt answer my question. He would reply with a different answer. I felt like I was talking with a 10 year old.
Another “lost” package. Time to contact the US Postal Inspector.
