Rented a chop saw and upon return was charged an additional 60 bucks on top of the saw rental. We weren’t told about that before we rented. If we were acknowledged that than that is on us. We didn’t even use it much. We just rented a chop saw at Home Depot the day before and cut more with that and they didn’t charge us additional fees. We don’t even have 20 feet long concrete and they said the usage was about 20 feet concrete cut. 20 foot concrete usage would have been longer than our driveway. No way did we cut that in 2 hours time. Just a review to others that plan to rent a chop saw. You will be charged more for the blade after rental.

We rented the small driving bobcat for a house project. Very prompt with the delivery and pick up. The driver was very professional and talked about the fuel rates for pick up.. He made sure my brother was comfortable with how to drive the bobcat before leaving. Love renting from Crown!

I stopped to see if crown rental had a part for my stihl chainsaw. They did not have the part in stock but offered to order it for me. Very pleasant people to work with and will return somewhere along the way.

I’ve been doing business with Crown Rental for more than 5 years. There is no other equipment rental shop in the twin cities that stands close in service. Their high standards of doing business clearly start at the top and trickle down to the sales staff in the office and the loading staff in back. They must filter and train their employees very well. If you’re a contractor, this is your place to rent. They understand the hurry of seasonal work better than their competitors with no rudeness. It will take you longer to read this review than to get through the rental process at Crown. However, if you’re in a major time bind to get to the jobsite, just have them deliver your equipment. Also, they have 3 locations. If you pick up at one but the jobsite is closer to another, let them know and you can drop off at the closer location. Trust me or go ahead and try other rental shops and compare. Better yet, don’t rent at Crown at all. It will be easier for me schedule my rentals then.

Excellent, Recommended!! I rented a steamer and had some technical troubles with it. They were very helpful over the phone in the technical area (mechanic) even offered to bring me a replacement unit. They were very helpful and nice at the front desk and pickup and dropping off. Excellent experience. Will always use these guys for rental equipment.

If you need a piece of equipment or party rental items in the Burnsville area stop by Crown Rental! There equipment is in top notch condition and they pride themselves on customer service. They even rent pressure washers and carpet cleaners to clean up after the party! Dont forget the Juice Buster to get the stains out of the white carpet... That stuff is amazing!

We used them for our wedding and rented a dance floor, tables, chairs, and dishware. They delivered everything and were really friendly. We made so many adjustments to our order leading up to the wedding and they handled it all.

By far the best rental location in the Twin Cities. Ill probably never use another company for my rental needs again, in all sincerity.Their prices were by far the best, the equipment was in better shape, and the team was absolutely amazing. I wont get into details, but Ive rarely worked with such a caring and kind team, especially when dealing with anything related to construction.Compared to other teams, these guys and girls should be seen as the Gold Standard. Excellent customer service. When there was a problem with the equipment I rented they went way above the call of duty and exceeded all expectations to make it right. As a result, I ended up buying a chainsaw there too as it was very competitively priced and they spent time explaining everything in detail about it, something I would never have gotten at a big box retailer. Their equipment and tools tend to be in better condition than other rental places. Theyve almost always been very accommodating when Ive needed to have equipment out a little bit longer their rental durations.

Fair pricing, excellent selection and there are two guys who stand out. One who works the service counter and another guy who works in the yard. They both recognize me and treat me like a buddy who comes in to rent stuff. I dont know either of them outside of the store. I wish I knew their names to give them credit for standing out in the best way.

Great service for rentals. If one shop doesnt have it it luckily only a few more to another. Shared stock between several stores that rotates. Ease of return if they allow a different location for drop off. I was getting equipment for work and they had what I needed. I will be back again as they have good service and quick.

Ive been using Crown Rental for years now. I get an air compressor to blow out my sprinkler system in the fall. Well, my stihl blower wasnt mulching my leaves like it used to so I thought that maybe it was time to get a new impeller or other part. I dropped it off when I returned the compressor and was told it might take a week to get to. I received a call the next business day (Monday) to come pick up my blower. I was surprised to find out that they had repaired it without contacting me. Turns out that they looked the unit over, tested it and found nothing wrong with it. Then they had the nerve of not even charging me for the service! WOW. Ive recommended people to this location many times and I think that Ill try and do a better job from now on. I can TOTALLY recommend Crown Rental for any service you might need. They go way above and beyond other companies that Ive used. It is well worth the few extra miles travel to find this kind of service. (I did try several times to try and pay for the service but the gentleman behind the counter wouldnt change the bill...)

Rented a wood chipper for the afternoon. Realized it was defective when my husband arrived at the job. Wasted three hours and missed an important meeting getting a working piece of equipment and finishing the job. Doug Haas, the owner, graciously refunded the full amount and let us keep it overnight in order to finish the job. Thank you Doug for making this right. Take away is, make sure it works before leaving the lot.

Rented an ice cream cooler for a grad party and it konked out full of 12 gallons of ice cream. We put ice on it and the ice cream got a little soft, but we partied on. Kind of a bummer, but Crown Rental came and picked it up and refunded our money so they made the best out of a bad situation. Good customer service!

Crown Rental doesn’t seem to look out for the customer. I rented a brush cutter and found that the gearing wasn’t right. That more or less ruined the few hours I took off of work to do the project since daylight was running out. I returned the machine immediately and Crown Rental did say that they would credit my account with no charge for the rental. I asked for a discount on my reservation of a repaired machine as I still had to work on the project. Crown’s response was that they already refunded my credit card for today’s renal. I pointed out that I took time off of work to wrap up the project and couldn’t wrap it up since their machine malfunctioned. They said “I can’t believe you are asking for this.” After some discussion Crown did offer me a 20% discount and a free trailer rental but really that should be the approach immediately. Time to find a new equipment rental company.

Jeremy, worst customer service ever. I rented a Toro stump grinder from Apple Valley Crown rental. They gave me would ramps which snapped and almost broke my leg. They said they would let me use it to finish my other stump. I called back and Jeremy just sat there and swore at me over the phone. Worst customer service ever!! TAKE YOUR RENTAL NEEDS TO PRIOR LAKE RENTAL. MUCH BETTER Customer service!!

I was happy to learn that they sell Dry Ice, and at a reasonable price. Great for an extended camping or hunting trip.

When I need to rent a tool I make Crown in Burnsville my first stop. I also have my grill propane tank refilled here. Staff is helpful and friendly.
