I found 911 Geeks through an internet search; I needed my laptop fixed because it stopped working during a deployment. Their customer service was excellent and they were quick to respond to my request and provided detailed instructions prior to me shipping my laptop to be fixed. 911 Geeks came to my rescue when I needed them most. I recently moved and became single and have little knowledge or patience for technology. They converted my old laptop to my new laptop; hooked up the entire new house on a secured wireless network and helped troubleshoot problems. They even went over and above expectations by purchasing my new printer, installing it and it works flawlessly! I subscribed to their monthly service for on-going support and they are quick to respond when minor issues pop-up. They back-up my computer, can remotely access it and troubleshoot those little annoyances that we all experience. They are the best!!! I highly recommend.

In late Sept. 2016 I hired Leif to redesign a new website and a new logo for my small business. After patiently working with him for nearly two months and expressing my frustration levels about ongoing issues, I still can’t figure out why I got the level of service I did.Unbeknownst to me, he used a free WordPress prefab theme and then used 9 different plugins to try to modify the website, his ability to customize the website was limited.Overall Leif’s communication is nonexistent… he would send brief e-mails to me letting me know the website was ready for review but wouldn’t answer my questions and didn’t complete all the change requests with no explanation why. My changes came via consolidated, dated word documents with plenty of visual aids and things still went unchanged/ignored. Normally when I did request a change something else would change that wasnt requested. It took at least three iterations to get good enough quality out of him or just to correct a simple spelling error.Honestly, was not impressed with the quality of the 3 logo designs I got, they werent all that different from each other and one of the concepts looked so thrown together. After taking some time to explain my idea for a logo concept with images and examples for him to improve upon, I received something that looked like it was made on an Etch-a-Sketch with some font and a photo overlaid on top. After a brutally honest e-mail, he put more effort into it and finally came up with an acceptable logo.Along the way there were two “surprise” extra costs. The first, was for website graphics, if he had to create them then it would cost more. Surprised that it wasn’t mentioned earlier (since he created my logo) but I understood and agreed that I would start supplying him with graphics created in Photoshop. The graphics (that I supplied) then started getting altered and didn’t resemble what I sent him. The second extra charge was for some html code for a Play/Pause button. This was the straw that broke the camel’s back, that extra charge is not understandable or acceptable to me, as I can find the same code online for free that could be just cut and pasted in.Although Leif was courteous, he was NOT thorough and didn’t pay attention to detail. Had he put any real effort into his work, this project wouldn’t have taken as long especially since the content and graphics were all provided to him. Needless to say, I decided to go with a different designer for my webpage.

I work for a local CPA. We have been in the middle of tax season for the last two months. The main computer with all the client tax information crashed and we where left unable to continue working. We called Best Buy and they rattle off a lengthy list of prices and told us it would be a 3-5 day turn around, down time a small company can not afford. I got in touch with 911 GEEKS and they assured me that they could have it done by the next morning. I dropped my computer off, half of the things Best Lie told me they needed to do to figure out what was wrong were unnecessary. 911 GEEKS had us up and running in a few short hours at half the price. Not only an will I continue to be a loyal customer, I will refer everyone I know. Its hard to find an honest company these days and I am glad that I found them.
