We had our furnace installed by them and that experience was fantastic! However, this year our furnace was leaking and we called them due to the warranty we purchased on the unit and we were told that “leaking isn’t covered under the lifetime warranty”. Fine, whatever, still had them come out cause we obviously can’t have the furnace just leak. Took a week for them to come out the first time, they spent 10 minutes here and left. Wasn’t fixed. Called again, no one ever came from that call. Called a third time, couple days later someone showed up blew some air through a hose and said that was the problem. The hose they installed 4 years before was too small and that was making it leak. They were here 5 minutes. Guess what?! Still leaking, I called a fourth time and explained I was very unhappy with the service I have gotten from them and I was basically blown off and told they will get to me when they can. I would not recommend them to anyone. The office lady was rude every time we called and we were made to feel like an inconvenience.

When I called the receptionist said it could be a couple days, but they showed up the very next morning. They were quick, professional and reasonably priced. I will call them in the future if I ever have a need.
AC went out middle of July. Calls Jern’s, and a week later I still hasn’t heard from them so I called back she had forgot to write it down.They were there in an hour, fixed it in 10 minutes. It was just a capacitor.Still giving them a 5 star because we all can make a mistake or forget.
Called to get an estimate, Bob comes over and gave a couple. Talked with us in awesome detail about all the choices we had in all of the air conditioning units and heating systems. Gave us pricing on the spot, we had a few other quotes from other companies, none the less we chose Jerns! They came over, installed, and had a great experience. Couldnt be happier!
Jerns installed a new HVAC system in our home. They were prepared, courteous, and efficent. Quoted price and timeline for install was exactly what was delivered. Bob and his team were great to work with. I would reccomend their services to anyone needing a HVAC install.
I called them on a Sunday, needing our furnace looked at. The guy on the phone said they could come by Monday (presidents day) between 8am and 8:30am. Of course, I had to stay home from work and wait for them. I waited till 9am and no show, so I went to work. No phone call, no nothing. I called them and the phone rang and rang with no option to leave a voicemail. I am very disappointed. Im not sure if they were closed on presidents day, but at least a phone call would have been nice if they needed a reschedule. It is now Thursday and still have not heard from them. I do not recommend this company.

Called to have my central air conditioning looked at on Thursday afternoon said they would be to my house that evening didnt show up called back the next day and the lady said he would stop at my house on his way home from work at 4:00 p.m still never showed up and didnt even call to say he wouldnt be coming now I have to wait until monday to try and find someone else this company is a total waste of your time to call they will not show up to do any work
Jern’s has always been there for us! Above and beyond every time! Affairs able to boot. As always, our old AC unit went out on a Friday. They came out and diagnosed it. Toast. They said it would be Monday before they could get it replaced. When we told them we had weekend visitors coming the owner came out and got the job going until his guys could join him. 3:34pm DONE Weekend saved 92 degrees whew!
The owner came over and did such a great job of salesmanship that I didnt even bother to get my usual 3 estimates. I was sold. I was qouted 4 different levels installation with cost and hardware and labor included. The crew was very respectful of my home and conducted themselves in a very professional manner. The heating and air was installed in 3 hours! If you can believe it. The new unit has been kicking butt for a few days now and Im super happy with it. We are also getting a nice rebate that the salesman made us aware of which is cool. So for around 5-6 thousand dollars you will get labor and the cost of the unit and 10 year guarantee plus a $900 rebate PLUS the Amana furnaces they sell are built in the USA. So I highly recommend this business

Bob came and gave me an estimate on a new furnace. Not even a week later I got a call asking if they could come and put the new one in. He stated they would be here in 30 minutes they were all unloaded and ready to go within about 15 minutes after I got that call. They are all very fast workers and very nice crew. I will definitely be calling them if I ever need repairs.
Damged my door to the point it wouldnt close correctly and gouged my drywall and didnt even tell me about it. I guess they figured I wouldnt notice
They came quickly when I called. They diagnosed the problem and told me one price. They told me they had to order a part and it would be in 2 days later. I got a phone call 2 days later saying well it was that but it is also this now as well. What was gonna be a $200 problem turned into a $435 problem. Had to have heat. It is what it is when it comes to older furnaces. The service guy Brandon was a nice guy.
I have been without A/C for a few days. I called Jerns and was told it would be as fast as they could get to me, but they were a couple of days behind with a rash of A/C problems due to the heat.I wish Bob could control the weather, but thats not possible. Ive used a window fan and many open windows and have not died, but was more difficult to fall asleep.Today was the third day and TONIGHT at 8:00pm, I get a personal call from Bob saying he was coming over! I was pleasantly amazed that he was diligent enough to come over personally when he could have sent one of his technicians tomorrow.I watched him work and we talked and he did really good job. He also put 3lbs of freon in my system and my house is now cooling down nicely.My sincere thanks to Bob on making a late night call and fixing my A/C problem. I know who I will always call when in need of heating and A/C problems... Jerns Heating and Air.
Only 18 hrs from 1st calling Jerns that we had an issue with our furnace to enjoying the warmth from our newly installed unit. Fast response to original call and when it was found that our heat exchanger was cracked they were able to quickly supply and install a replacement unit. Thanks, Jerns
Came out in the morning, but by 7:30 pm had no heat again. Left messages. At 9:10 pm called Millards(very professional). Had it running by 10:00pm. Jerns finally called at 8:30am after a night of 1 degree above.
Called 2 different days they said theyd be here after 4pm. They never called or shown up. I definitely wouldnt recommend them.
Our furnace went out this morning around 10am had to get a new one put in....was up an blasting heat at 145pm!!!!! Awesome job especially when the temp was -5 outside...we really couldnt be any happier with the service we were provided

Bought new unit and 2 years ago. Now it wont cool my home . Its been almost 2 months waiting for repairs..please dont promise always there in 24 hours and never overtime fee. Its 6 pm and I bet your technicians are home eating in their air conditioned homes while I go outside to cool down.
I have had several dealings with Jerns and they have all been positive. This is the third air and heating system I have purchased from Jerns. Two were for our business and apartment. Anytime I have called for service, which has been needed rarely, they came promptly. They are always professional and courteous . This time I needed a whole new system and ductwork. They showed up promptly at 8 and was completely finished, including clean-up by 3:30.
Still waiting for a call back THREE WEEKS LATER. Dont bother giving them your time. Just call brockway.
Called on Monday and ask to schedule a time to replace the furnace and A/C. They said they would be here on Thursday between 8:15-8:30am. They showed up at 8:20am and removed the old furnace and A/C unit and had the new ones installed by 1:00pm.
I do not recommend jerns they never awnsered are calls and my fernece is broke it smells like gas Ive called them and the have never returned the calls or even cared they are horrible and the way theu treated my dad was horrible they took advantage of him. Do not recommend at all.

We had two babies cold at home while it’s -30 wind chill outside and they didn’t care, still took 6 hours for them to get to us and us calling them 4-5 times reminding them we still haven’t had help.

Ive had nothing but a bad experience and poor service from Jerns. Let me relate my experience. I call jerns about the middle of July to have my defective thermostat replaced. They ask if my air conditioner was out of service and I said it wasnt. They said they were very busy and since I wasnt out of service I would be a low priority and they could probably get to me in a week or so. I then waited two weeks with no jerns repairman knocking on my door. I called them back at the end of July and they said they didnt have any record of me calling for a repair but they would send someone out on August 1st, 3 days later. The repairman arrived on August 1st and did a very hurried job installing my thermostat only setting the time and date and not programming it to our specifications. I told him we wanted to install a new hvac system in the spring so then he did take the time to bad mouth our ductwork saying it was sized to small and not enough cold air returns and needed replacing, which is funny because our ductwork system has heated and cooled our house comfortably for 38 years. Anyway,in October, the low battery lite showed up on the thermostat lcd screen, which shouldnt have happened because it was only 2 months old. I then promptly replaced the batteries with new ones thinking the old ones had probably sat on shelf too long at Jerns. On December 17 when the outside temperatures were getting pretty cold, I noticed the low battery lite was on again. I replaced the batteries again and decided I would program the furnace for winter. When I did that the thermostat locked in, the hold temperature position, and would only allow me to change temperature manually. I even tried to reset the thermostat by removing the batteries and replacing them. It didnt help! It was on a weekend(December 17) so I called jerns and got there, on call, repairman hoping I could get in line for a next week repair but before I could tell him that, he says IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN THIS WEEKEND . He didnt sound very happy about being called on the weekend but i said ok, when do you think you could make it out to fix this defective thermostat that they installed. He said, I dont know, were really busy. I said could you give me a rough estimate when you could come and he said he could be here next week. I asked, at the beginning of the week or middle of the week or the end of the week. He said probably middle of the week on December 21,well, its now December 27 and weve heard nothing from Jerns. We just had another local heating and air firm here giving us an estimate on installing new furnace and air conditioning unit which I told jerns we were going to install a new HVAC system in the spring because of the age of our old one. HMM, I wonthe be calling jerns for an estimate! !! I would have gave them no stars but it wasnt an option!!!!
I think I got took a couple of times. Overcharged and poor service. Dont answer the phone and tech guy complained about having to work on a weekend. They advertise 24 hour service and never a overtime charge..... They will stick it to you .......
