Been a faithful costumer for the past 5 years. My only complaint is that their latest appointment is at 3pm every day so it’s impossible for me to go since I work until 4.

Slow service, prices went up for oil change, almost 3 hrs for change and inspection. Nit picky on starting to tear wipers for failed inspection . Nice pretty new wait area with kids section

It was a great costomer experience with the service desk. It was also the first time a shop sent me a detailed report with photos and didnt try to push something I didnt need. The most awesome part was most of my oil change was covered by canned goods that I brought in for them to donate. Nice to see a place that gives back to the community!

My daughter took her car here for an oil change they came out and told her she needed brake pads but because they didnt have the proper equipment to turn the rotors they wanted to replace the rotors 357 for the front and 360 for the rear we took the car somewhere else the rotors didnt need to be turned 289 to replace all the pads on all four wheels not sure what kind of repair shop theyre running here but beware looks like they were just trying to take advantage of an 18 year old who had no clue.....

This is an auto service shop. The staff has been pleasant and helpful. The technicians have been knowledgeable and efficient. Prices seem to be right for this area. If you dont want to wail for your vehicle, they will call / text you when it is ready.

I have worked with Thomas Tire for many years. My family has four cars and they handle all of our tires & all of our routine maintenance needs including inspections and occasional repairs. This group operates a business in the most transparent way. I find them to be honest and trustworthy. I love the texting feature letting me know when my car is being worked on and when it is done. I love that they are willing to pick up my car and drop it off. They are just a solid solutions oriented and easy to work with team of professionals. Thomas Tire is one of my favorite businesses in Burlington North Carolina.

I believe that I have found my new go to tire shop. The prices were very reasonable, the waiting area was nice, and the customer service was outstanding. It is hard to come by a place that checks all of those boxes nowadays. I will definitely return in the future.

Re: Dishonest recommendations. I have used Thomas tire several times. While they give decent customer service and did fix whatever issues were sought after, they have consistently given me false information. Every time I take my car there, they tell me something new and expensive is wrong with it. Every time this happens, I get a second opinion who lets me know that issue is not even happening. For example, they told me my car needed a serpentine belt ASAP and quoted me an expensive price for it. When searching for a better price, which was easy, the next mechanic notified me that nothing was wrong with the serpentine and it did not need to be replaced. This has happened several times over the years with this location. Do not trust their advice and always search for a better price and second opinion.

I had a bad experience with Thomas Tire. They charged me $115 to diagnose my starter not working. Then they wanted almost $600 to do the job. I called other places and got multiple quotes for around $400. My best price was from Quality Automotive for $265! I talked to Brian at Thomas Tire and asked if he could come down to $450 and I would let them do the work, He said no. So I had my car towed to Quality and will never use Thomas Tire again!!

Super convenient, low stress. Great team, Heather is precious and not a pushy bone in her body. Bryan is very personable, knowledgeable, and takes the time to get to know his customers. When I drop our cars off, I know itll be done in a timely manner. They will let you know of other maintenance that needs to be addressed in the future but will not push you to rebuild your entire car today. He wants you to remain a customer, not just dollar signs today.

I used Thomas Tire because of their location, close to my work and convenient for me. The diagnostic alone was $100. That did not go towards the job they ultimately completed. I felt cheated because of that. Ive been places where the diagnostic is free if you use their service. I appreciated them fixing my car the same day, but in the future I will go elsewhere.

Amazing customer service. I love receiving the text/email with all the details of my service. When they recommend a replacement part, they show me the worm/used part from my car. My dad was a mechanic and always told me to do that. With Thomas Autimotive, I never have to ask. Very reasonably priced.

I have a handicap accessible wheelchair transport van, so when I asked who could change my oil I was referred to Thomas Tore& Automotive! They got me in quick without an appt. First timer here. Yesterday, I came in for an oil change, which by the way was the best deal I found on Burlington. Service was quick & they were very easy to deal with. Once it was finished I received a text msg from them that had a link that led me to a page that had all the information I needed about the service that was done. Made an appointment online and got the first appointment of the day. I was in and out with a tire rotation and oil change. It was done very quickly and everyone was really friendly. I was updated on everything via text as well. Will definitely be going back!

Good first experience. I appreciate that you can make an online appointment and they kept up with that time and provided text message updates about the work being done. I have had so many experiences of waiting hours and hours at car repair places in the past and glad Thomas Tire does good word and respects my time.

Terrible service. Staff prevaricates. Scheduled appointment because time was very important. Appointment time was meaningless because walk-ins were taken ahead of my appointment time. Social distancing was difficult requiring me to wait outside in heat and sun for thirty minutes. Staff sent me home without completing my services (although billed fully). I appreciate the fact they called to correct their error, but that took another hour from my day. I will never return to Thomas Tire.

I took my car here because it was a name I recognized and I was new to the area. I figured that an oil change wouldnt be that bad and if I didnt like it I could go somewhere else next time. Well turned out that they were so awesome, friendly, helpful, quick, efficient and honest. I was told by a previous company that I needed brakes but when I went back the second time I had them check and they said that they were fine. They are now my go too automotive spot.

Staff was incredibly helpful on finding the right tires for my vehicle. I have a BMW so tire sizes are not the most common, they found tires for me and at the lowest price in the area. They did not try to sell me any additional services that may be unnecessary, they seemed to be very honest and transparent. I feel that Thomas tire has the right training and people. I got what I needed with great customer service that’s all I ask for. I will definitely be back!

Great service!! Using their photo system to document the complimentary check, I was able to arrange a no contact inspection. Dropping the car of and picking it up was a breeze.

Very nice employees but the majority of people (including some employees) were not wearing masks. I was uncomfortable sitting in the waiting room because of this.

I did go to get an alignment. My car is with coilovers lowered about 2 and that was just fine. By the end of the job, they told me they could only adjust front and rear toe. Car was to low to raise front end to check suspension or make any adjustment to camber. Very disappointed when they told me I have to pay the full price or alignment when they didnt do the entire job on it.

Thomas Tire is more than coffee and popcorn- I do like the popcorn. When I go in for an oil change, my car is inspected from top to bottom, and I know what needs attention when I leave. The review by email is very helpful.

On my way to work, I rolled through some ruble that had fallen from a construction trailer. I immediately heard a noise from my tire beating the asphalt. I pulled over and noticed 2 screws hanging out of my tire. I have never been a customer with Thomas Tire. But, I drove directly to their location on S. Church St. because it was near my office. I walked in at 7:30am and was greeted by a very kind young lady who respectfully thanked me for coming and began to assist me immediately. Another kind fellow overheard our conversation and came out to troubleshoot and assured me that they would get me taken care of. He even offered me a ride to work. When all was said and done, I came back. They had removed the screws, checked for leaks, and brought my tires to the appropriate pressure. They provided excellent customer service, were fast and friendly, ensured that my vehicle was safe, and CHARGED ME NOTHING! This kind of service is rare these days. I am so grateful for their service that day and will definitely be back in the future.

I took my 92 mustang lx foxbody to get an alignment they told me I need some inner tie rods that was fine. But then I asked them to fix it and they come up with they had to take the whole steering rack off to change inner tie rods. So that was false so I took it somewhere else and had it fix. Moral to the story they was trying to rip me off or the mechanics did not know what they was doing

I never ever leave reviews, but my experience was so great that I feel obligated to leave one. First of all, the staff was beyond professional and honest! The fact that they took me in for an oil change the same day I called, and completed my service within an hour was beyond incredible! The staff even made preventive maintenance recommendations that felt genuine and not just to squeeze extra money. I just loved the fact at how nice they were to me, and I felt truly appreciated as a customer. I will be taking all my auto services to Thomas Tire from now on.

I went to get a tire rotation and they told me they just started another car and that I would be next. I ran up the road to the bank and came back to wait and no one else had been in so I was still next in line. They said it takes about 45 minutes depending on how bad it is. 2.5 hours later I was still there and they never took my car back. They were nice but I had to get home to my kids so I never got my tire rotation.

I will never go here again. They refused to use a mobile one oil filter I bought at Oreilys. They out synthetic oil in my car without asking. My bill was higher than first quoted. This garage in my option is scamming customers.

These folks were stellar! I was stranded on the highway with a blown tire. Knowing they were closing a 5:30 on a Friday afternoon I tried to get my car to them before closing. Several mishaps and phone calls later the tow truck pulled in at 5:31. And they changed my tire. With a smile. Thank you. I made it to work by 7:02.

BEST customer service EVER! From the initial phone call for an inspection, Colt was kind, informative, and VERY personable. Once I arrived, service was quick, clearly explained, and everyone else I encountered seemed happy to be at work and actually enjoy their jobs. I compared tire prices all over town, and they were VERY competitive in the pricing, tires were on, service complete in about an hour. They gave me a ride back to work while it was in progress, and picked me back up when complete. Above and beyond in every aspect of the service. GO SEE THEM!

I had a tire go flat on the weekend. AAA came and changed the tire.and put air in it. They said it was a slow leak. I went to Firestone where a technician took a glance at the tire in my trunk said he couldnt fix it. It was going to cost $105.00 for a tire plus a 2 hour wait to get to it. I decided to wait until Monday. I took it to Thomas they did a thorough examination discovered AAA put to much air in. They changed the tire did everything at no charge. They care about their customers.

Last Friday was the first time I had ever been to Thomas Tire. I drive a 2018 Jeep Cherokee that only runs on synthetic oil. The previous place I had gotten my oil change at (and a place I’ve done a lot of my vehicle services at) gave me a 3000 mile range, which is very low for synthetic oil. It lasted me about 1800 miles and my lights were coming on. I called Thomas Tire first thing Friday morning and was able to make a same day appointment for 2:00. I arrived ten minutes early and my car was taken back right on time. I noticed that others were getting impatient on how long they had been there and although I felt like I had been there far too long for an oil change, I knew they were working on it so it didn’t bother me too much. A hour and ten minutes later my vehicle was ready. I got in, ready to leave, and noticed they had given me a 7,000 mile range which is way more like it!! However, what REALLY got me was the fact that you basically create a profile with them. What I mean by that is...you are an actual customer in their system and whenever they work on your vehicle, it is all uploaded to your profile. They will send you a link via text or email and tell you every single thing they checked, fixed, or what is soon due to be fixed. An hour for an oil change too long? Not when they checked 31 things on your vehicle!!! Excellent customer service from this place. I will continue to do business here!

I stopped in to inquire about having my annual inspection done. I was so happy to find out that not only would they get me in right then, but would have my car done quickly. Less than 10 or 15 minutes after walking in, everything was done. Brian also took the time to provide me with some helpful information. It was as always, a wonderful experience.

Matthew Schmidt, the technician that did my inspection, was fantastic! He was helpful, nice and got my car done in a timely manner so I didn’t have to wait a long time. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes. The lady at the front, Heather, was very friendly while I was sitting in the waiting room and the manager was also very friendly too! I am always skeptical of auto repair places because I have always worked on cars and lots of places will try to BS people because they think you won’t know.
