I ended up leasing a Subaru Forester and had the best experience with the sales consultant, Joel Nations. He was extremely helpful finding the right car within my premium/budget and went above and beyond with his customer service. The financing department was also very on top of it and I have never had a better experience buying/leasing a car (this is my 3rd car in the last 21 years). Joels professionalism and ability to listen to my needs helped me save time and money.Could not be happier and highly recommend them!

I had such a wonderful experience at Dwayne Lanes Skagit Subaru -- every single person I interacted with was so nice, supportive, friendly, helpful, and honest ... and Glenn Stone, the service manager, was so incredibly kind and helpful. I had left my car relatively unattended for 15 months as I went to Costa Rica, and they helped me get my car back into peak condition, and were very honest about prices and what was worth investing in.I couldnt recommend this place enough, theyre awesome!

Even during the pandemic, they find space for fixing my vehicle, allow my family to camp out, are kind and professional and sanitized! The staff are extremely nice and professional. The salesman Jeff and the finance guy Jared are at elite levels with customer service and the way they interact with people is incredible. They actually made what can be a stressful purchase into a very fun experience. There was absolutely ZERO pressure. Just seemed they were happy to have us shopping there. I test drove a Subaru Forester a couple of weeks ago. I ended up buying another brand of car, but really appreciated the good long test drive that Joel Nations let me have. He answered all my questions and wasnt pushy in anyway. He was upbeat and personal.I have been a Subaru customer here for 9 years and have no complains. They are always friendly, helpful, on time and do not oversell when I was getting my car services.

Dwayne Lanes Skagit Subaru has a first-rate sales and service staff. They are very helpful and easy to deal with. I bought two cars there, and both times I enjoyed the process. The first time, I knew very little, and I required a lot of support from the sales staff. They were never in a hurry, and they were never annoyed with my unending string of questions. People should also be aware that Skagit County has a lower sales tax than the surrounding counties.

Took advantage of my mom on a trade offered her 10k then turned around and put the car up for 16k. Said they go of KBB which was 12k and wouldn’t budge on the 10k offered. Also said they would match another dealerships written offer or beat it and didn’t once the time for paperwork came. Beware of them not honest!

I received a letter from Subaru saying that I needed to bring my Subaru into a Subaru dealer to check the passenger safety air bag. Living on an island that has few car dealers meant I needed to go to a Subaru dealer on the mainland and after looking for one I realized that it was going to take about an hour and maybe more. I got to Dwayne Lanes Skagit Subaru on time and the man who took charge of checking the air bag. He thought it would take 2.5 hours. It was done 15 minutes early and they had washed the car. I was happy with everything and will go back there if I need help.

Why do employees walk around with masks down? I get it if they’re in closed offices but the sales guys are not. Sitting in your waiting area while my car is serviced feels unsettling as it is. Watching your sales guys walk around and chit chat with each other inches apart with masks down is very disconcerting.

I had such a great experience here. I would definitely recommend this dealership and I will go back for any future purchases. We found out that the last people we bought our car from lied to us and it had damage they didn’t tell us about. Our salesman Joel and everyone else we came in contact with were honest, upfront and helpful. I can’t say enough about this dealership and the people that work there.

I have been taking my car here for almost a year now and have received nothing but excellent customer service. Latest example of this was today. When I left work last night I heard a terrible grinding noise coming from the right front of the car. I was able to make an online appt for this morning. They checked it out ( it had only been a rock ) and washed the car all for no charge. I will definitely keep bringing my car back here for service.

I found the Crosstrek I was searching for online at Dwayne Lane and emailed for more information. Tyler H was so friendly and responsive and we finalized the deal quickly via email, with accessories added in a couple days, for pickup that weekend. Not only were they ready for me when I arrived from across the state, Tyler even came in on her day off to meet me and hang out with me while the car was being prepped. I felt like I was hanging out with a friend, not buying a car. She and Sven made it the best car buying experience I’ve ever had, and I would definitely recommend Dwayne Lane!

I came in for an oil change. In addition, they checked the status of the rest of the car: engine, brakes, tire tread, etc. Awesome! Bunch of friendly hardworking people who care about doing a good job. Also, I trust them over Jiffy Lube; I took my last car (a Chrysler 2001 PT Cruiser) to those guys, and my oil cap was way too loose afterward.

I actually had fun taking my car in for recall service. Tony was funny and friendly. They provided a shuttle to get me to a restaurant while I waited for my car. When I returned, I found they had also washed and lightly vacuumed my car. I didnt expect the extra service!

Went in today with an open mind, dont have much credit and have never bought a car from a dealership, so I wasnt sure what to expect. We were helped by Tyler H, she quickly took down all of our information and was very professional but at the same time very personal. She made us feel so comfortable and we each told stories back and forth while we waited to see our options. Everything was up front and honest, we never felt pressured. They laid out the information in black and white and let us make our decision and aswered all of our questions, in my opinion, honestly. We felt like we were dealing with a REAL PERSON. Not one of those quick talking car salesmen you always here about. Walked out with a 2017 Subaru Forester!!!! Thank you Tyler and team. We are so happy we chose Dwayne Lanes Skagit Subaru! Got the oil changed using 3xpress oil change. Very quick, just pulled in a chilled in their waiting room. Coffee and snacks are free, tv tuned to HGTV. They have a kids area with cartoons playing thats encased in glass walls. After the oil was change they even washed my car! I will definitely be bringing my car back here again.

I came to Dwayne lanes interested in the crosstreks and from the minute I came on to the lot I welcomed by Bryce S. We went on a test drive and talked about an offer. I walked away to think about my options and whether it was the right choice for me. I really appreciated how he was able to communicate over the phone and was willing to answer all my questions after I left. After some thinking and I returned to purchase my crosstrek and I couldn’t be happier! Over all Bryce was very helpful throughout the whole process. One Saturday afternoon, my husband and I stopped in to look at a car wed seen on their internet listings. Didnt know we were going catch them off guard. We were met by Marty Walinksy, who, when I said hello and told him why we were there, never seemed willing to answer any of our questions directly. So I asked him if he worked there, not sure he even said yes. He asked us to come inside to the floor, so we followed him in, and he tried to look up the car, said something about it being new, maybe not through the shop yet, kept scrolling by the listing and calling it by a different model. I corrected him, and pointed it out on the screen. It was like he was trying to get rid of us. Almost asked for help from the other employees. But then he called someone and walked us to the dealerships building next door. No one was there, nor was the car. When I asked him, So do you have anything similar?, he just flat out said no. He gave us a card, but did not make any offers to get ours, nor did it appear like he wanted to. Not sure if this is your sales style Marty, but we will not be going back there anytime soon. I felt like I needed a shower even though it was raining. What does it take to find a good car salesperson? We traveled up the road to the other dealership and were treated much better, but couldnt shake the lousy treatment that day. And that is why I am bothering to write this. Avoid dealing with Marty if you can. Unless you like feeling confused, misunderstood, and jerked around.

Theyre going out of their way to ensure its easily shipped, working with myself, the seller, and the independent shipping company. Whenever I make it out to WA, I owe the service guys a round.

Had these guys do my brakes on a vehicle I bought had to take to my mechanic less than a year later rotor messed up brakes had broken hardware when I talked to some one there they told me it was my fault and when I told them I had a carbon copy of paperwork that said otherwise they still blamed me told me it had been to long ago. It had been less than a year and less than 8000 mile shotty work at best. So just know your taking life in to your own hands wont work on my car agian.

We tried to get a price on a car and the dealer’s manager refused to give us a price quote saying since we have a price from another dealer we had to disclose that price. But we wanted to see their price first. When we insisted on this, we were told that “we were not listening!!” and finally asked to leave the premises, she literally told us she refuses to work us. This was the worst dealer experience ever.Good luck staying in business with this attitude.

Honestly, I wish I could give them zero stars. I went in today to get my check engine light that had turned on figured out. On a car I just bought from them 4 months ago.(which I’m supposed to still have a warranty with).I waited for 2 hours without hearing a word from anybody. The man at the service desk didnt even have the decency to come and apologize for it taking so long. After I went over to him and asked what was taking so long all he said was I’ll go check on it. 35 minutes later, he comes and tells me that to fix my car it’ll be $1000(which was all engine related) on top of the $120 they wanted me to pay for pretty much just having to sit in their lobby for 3 hours. The man went and talked to the sales department since the problems “weren’t covered under warranty” and Nothing happened. I thought that a car being under warranty was supposed to mean something? But apperantly not to theses people. I would NOT recommend going to them AT ALL!!! They are very rude and not willing to help you the way you need to be helped.

They get zero stars. There was not one good experience in the car buying process with them. The latest thing I have had to deal with is a trunk that leaks. It is still under warranty but I dont have much faith in these guys actually helping solve this problem. I would not recommend anyone use these guys. I will gladly pay more next time to do business with someone else.

Very impressed with the service department! Took my STI in for an oil change, they found a screw in two of my tires, removed, patched, and reinstalled them with no upcharge. Also, it may be common for other dealerships to spray down your car, but these guys cleaned the brake dust off my rims and cleaned the interior as well. All of this was done in less than 2 hours and they provided a free shuttle to wherever I chose to wait. They surely earned a repeat customer and I would highly recommend them to any other Subie owner.

We’ve had an overall good experience with Dwayne Lanes in the past.This review is just a comment on their phone system.I called today with the intention of scheduling service and after working through their phone tree all I got was a recording saying “no one is available to take your call” and an option to leave a message but nothing about when or if anyone would ever call me back. I tried calling the parts department, since they’re right next to the service department, and got the same message. I called Sales and finally did get a person who informed me Parts and Service were our for the holidays.What I found annoying was including that little tidbit of info in their phone message would have saved me two other calls. Sure, it didn’t take me that long to make two more calls but it was a waste of my time, its almost like they were intentionally being obtuse.I find it particularly annoying when someone makes me work for information that should have been shared up front.

Duane Lane Skagit Subaru is AWESOME! It is a cheery place, with fantastic customer service. We have experienced, I believe, all parts of this dealership, from getting a new vehicle to working with the service department. ALL parts have been so positive!! They are a team which works well together. They support one another and support us, the customer.We spent the summer shopping for a new vehicle, and we visited every dealership (several more than once or twice!). Every occasion we had inside Duane Lane was positive. Very low-key, low-pressure. The salesmen were happy to answer all questions and run, if necessary, to get the information requested! (Love you, Jose!) I watched how they treated the other people inside as well; every person was treated not just with respect, but with CARE. Tyler was so excited when the car in which we were interested arrived, I felt like we were a part of something bigger than an automobile brand. Hard to describe, but I credit the staff. We were offered an AMAZING deal and Im soooooo glad we said YES! We got a great car and a fantastic Subaru family.The care continues even after the sale. Tyler is awesome - going well above and beyond the call of duty - Sams fantastic (working with the fact that we live far - such great care, compassion and customer service!!!), Seth, Tony, Tobyn, Tim... a GREAT team!! First off, thank you to the team that helped me! Each person I spoke with was kind and worked quickly.And please make the trek to skagit!! I made the mistake of going to Marysville.I had an issue with pulling my key from the ignition and Marysville not only forgot about my car but barely tested it and said it was a non issue because they wanted me gone.Skagit had the issue occur on the first try and fixed it by the next day. My car is running great and thanks again for the free car wash!

We made a 4 hour journey to purchase a car from this dealership. Upon arrival, the salesperson we had made an appointment with told us that the vehicle had been previously owned by a heavy smoker (information that was not disclosed in our email communications prior to the long drive down). After a test drive (where the salesperson decided to critique my driving rather than sell the features of the car to me), we decided not to buy it based on the odor. When we requested to test out another vehicle, we were rudely asked by the salesperson if we were there for joy rides and to waste his time or if we planned to buy the car from him. We left on principle and drove an additional hour to Carter Subaru in Shoreline where we had a polar opposite experience.The service we received from Michael Johnson at Skagit Subaru was dismissive, condescending and rude. I would not recommend this dealership or salesperson to anyone who wishes to receive an ounce of customer service when looking to purchase a vehicle.

I stopped in to Dwayne Lane Subarus Service Department in Burlington to have my 6,000 mile service on my 2018 Impreza. I normally drive up to Dewey Griffin in Bellingham, but I was too tired. I walked into Dwayne Lanes Service Department, and a man and a young woman were typing away on their computers. I waited quietly, right in front of them, and I was completely ignored. I waited, and was continuously ignored. A simple hello, or Good Morning, well be right with you, FROM EITHER ONE OF THESE TWO RUDE BOZOS, would have been appropriate behavior. But nothing. No acknowledgement. I finally said, Okay. Still, nothing, so I walked out. $100 of service and shopping for accessories for my new car was lost, and the crappy review is what you get for being completely rude. I drove up to Dewey Griffin in Bellingham, where the service is ALWAYS IMPECCABLE. I live in Anacortes, but I will never go into Lanes again. I encourage everyone to go the extra miles to Dewey Griffin and be treated with respect, and receive OUTSTANDING SERVICE.

Joshua Gimse and Caila Anderson have extremely bad morals when selling cars; ZERO stars for them. Work with Marty Walinsky (5 STARS - very knowledgeable); he is the ONLY reason we continued to buy a car from Dwayne Lane this weekend. While I was waiting for my husband to run home on Sunday & get our trade in Ms. Caila came to the desk I was sitting at; said I need to borrow these (keys). She showed her client the car we were in the process buying then put the keys on her desk. I watched for a minute and saw that they were selling it to her client instead of us. When I asked her what she was doing selling our car she stated Its available and I am just doing my job. REALLY you call this doing your job!? Then when I approach the manager Joshua with his reflective sun glasses and Aloha greeting; I ask him WHY; he said the money is here so we are letting him have it. Then he tells me OH Im working on getting you another on just like it; it has a couple of more options; I think youll like. I ask where is it - down south - where down south - Marysville; its on its way; it will be here by the time paperwork is done. Long story short; Joshua is a lair. Car was the same no extra options; came up from Auburn on Monday. When we came back on Monday it was a much better experience. We got 5 STAR service once again from Marty - Rich & Jennifer - THANK YOU!!

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a car dealership. The ration of false promises and lies that come from Jeff K. in Sales, Kimberly and Jared B. in Finance, and Rich, Alex L. and Luke J. in Sales are laughable.They mucked up the licensing so badly that I had to hire someone out of my own pocket to follow up. I have emails from Luke J., General Manager promising he would sort it out and then he just ... does.. nothing.Now I am out hundreds in FedEx charges, hiring people, and hours getting things done to eventually, hopefully, get plates and tags for my for my 2018 vehicle.Randy Wright in Service and Parts screwed up two installs on my new Subaru, the install does not match their own catalog and my 2-week old car was dead in my garage due to under-dash lights being incorrectly installed. One should never have to call a tow truck on a 2-week old car. When I asked for repairs, he said I am banned and they will not honor my standard warranty, my extended warranty or my service agreement.I have given them ample opportunities to fix this situation and they have declined. I just wanted a written apology and them to reimburse my out of pocket costs for their error. Despite a full schedule of service appointments Sam Heidal greeted us as if we were long lost relatives, offered a loaner car, searched out a set of tires and got us on our way with a fresh set of tires and a car wash. The service advisor needs to learn to be courteous and friendly... He was rude and acted like they dont want your business!I will drive out of my way to have my subaru serviced elsewhere. Just needed an oil change not an attitude.

Customer service is terrible. Called parts was put on hold. One guy came back on line and put me on hold again. Couple more minutes and they hung up on me.Called right back and a gal told me parts guys had left for the night. Then she got rude with me.Forgetting this place!!

Horrible experience..suggest never go there.. the agents there are old, unenthusiastic to sell or even talk properly..very good at misleading and misguiding in, if you want to buy a used car..be careful..

First time I ever bought a new car. I was disappointed with the entire experience. After they gave me a price and I put down a deposit, they called me back and told me they made a mistake. I wish I shopped around before buying.
