We discussed at length, and she inspired enough confidence that we listed at the price she recommended. The end results supported her approach; I was extremely happy with the selling price and the offers we received. She also recommended spending a relatively substantial amount to upgrade the home before sale; I asked if she was confident that spending $x on the home would raise the selling price by at least $x, and when she said yes, I trusted her judgement. The final sale price would support that she was (again) correct.On top of all this, Caroline and her team were just a pleasure to work with. Selling a house can be stressful. They managed to handle things properly and professionally while also being relaxed and friendly, and helped keep me calm and confident everything would turn out fine. If I could give Caroline and her team 10 stars I would! I originally met Caroline when I was looking to buy a home on the Peninsula. I had recently gone through a divorce and sale of our family home in the East Bay, and was looking to move to the Peninsula to be closer to my job. I am a Northern California native but had never lived, or really spent very much time, on the Peninsula. Caroline and Beth were very patient with me and really educated me on the pros and cons of the different communities I was considering. Ultimately I purchased a condo in downtown San Mateo and was thrilled with where I landed.Fast forward 4 years...I decided to accept a new job and move back to the East Bay. My first call was to Caroline. There was a home I had been following in Orinda that I was interested in knowing more about. She recommended a fantastic realtor in the East Bay at 5:00pm on a Tuesday and I was looking at and making an offer on my new home by noon the next day. Now I had to sell my condo and of course I worked with Caroline and her amazing team (Nicole, Louanne, Tiffany, to name a few). They worked quickly and tirelessly to get my condo on the market as quickly as possible. The team was incredibly flexible and resourceful, coordinating a few various handymen that were needed to tune up a few things.
