I made an appointment for Wednesday, dropped my car off on Tuesday night, no drop box for keys, had to leave car open. On Wednesday by mid afternoon hadnt heard from them, so I called, they hadnt even started my tune up, the last said Matt would call. Matt calls I asked why they hadnt done the tune up, because thats why I made the appointment, he said I think we can still get it done. He calls back 15 minutes later and cant to it because now the parts arent available. When I made the appointment the lady gave me a quote of 184.00. When it was all said and done it was 210.00, and the only thing that got done was plugs and boots. Its a great place to go if you have money to spend on the least amount of service as possible. Wont go back, Im sure theres more efficient and up front places to go.
Matt knows a hell of a lot more than some of the dealers. I spent nearly 700 bucks at the dodge dealer and still hadnt a clue what was wrong with my 2011 Ram truck. Mat knew immediately what the problem was when I explained the symptoms.
I was on my way to Utah from Twin Falls when my check engine light came on and I felt an odd grinding from what I believed was one of my tires on my passenger side that seemed to worsen when I accelerated. I googled auto-repair shops near me and Interstate Tire & Repair happened to be just 4 minutes away. I pulled off the highway and into their parking lot, and they were able to get me in almost instantly. Tammy, the receptionist, was very kind and pleasant and made me feel very welcome and comfortable as I waited. The mechanic told me when he turned the car on the check engine light wasnt on, and he took it on a test drive to see if he felt the sensation I had described to him. He didnt, but he checked everything he believed may have gone wrong anyway. I was only there for about an hour when he returned my keys and said he believed the signal fired faultily. They encouraged me to immediately call them if I got on the highway and the engine light came on or I felt the grinding sensation again. I have had no further problems with my car, and I am sorry theyre located 40 minutes from me because Id happily use their services in the future. Many mechanics would have taken advantage of the situation and charged me for something that was unnecessary but they were very honest so I only had to walk away paying for their time which I was more than happy to do especially considering the alternative which could have been an engine repair that may have been in the thousands. Thank you, Tammy and Mark!
No time for anyone, people need their car
Interstate Repair is a family-owned, local business that takes pride in providing quality services with excellent outcomes. Its a very busy enterprise and there can be a wait time but its worth it. My car is an older model Volvo cross country station wagon. Ive had three unrelated repairs and each has ended in safe and satisfactory results. I would highly recommend this company and staff.
Not a tire place. For some reason Google says so, but the sign (and owner) do not.Despite that the owner filled up my flat and directed me to the nearest tire shop. Wouldnt let me pay him. Nice guy.
Driving from Washington State, PNW, to Tennessee and my van started slipping out of park. I dropped in and with their schedule full called around to find me another good mechanic. Which they did, across the street! It says a lot to me about a business who would offer to their competition my business. Good, friendly and most important concerned about my safety on the road that I get my vehicle fixed in a timely manner! Thank you. Great mechanics are about the fix.
Dropped everything to help us as we were traveling through. Knowledgeable. Repairs done right. No questionable work or charges. A family business. Clearly does a lot of work for local farmers.
Friendly staff, They did a great job on my 3000GT and ran better after they fixed it. Highly recommend this shop. Honest people.
$$$$👎🏻✌🏾👎🏻👎🏻💩💩🤮🤮💵💸💰💵avoid avoid BEWARE!! CAUTIONWorst experience in my life dealing with car service work! My van broke down outside of Burley late at night on my way to Utah with my 6 kids. I had my car towed to this shop because it was conveniently located to some hotels. When they called me with my diagnosis, the receptionist said “I’m afraid I have bad news, your alternator is bad and it’s an expensive part, about $440 for a new alternator. And about $650 with labor.” I asked her where she was getting the part and she told me Napa Auto Parts. I called Napa and asked what the part cost and they told me it was $178!!!I called them back and asked why they would charge me so much money for doing nothing more than buying the part from a store. I offered to buy the part from Napa, they said no, I asked if she could at least come down on the up charge and she said “that’s how they keep their lights on” and “ stay in business” anywhere else in a market with competition this is a $350 job. But they knew I had no other options and so they took advantage of me. I hope this place goes bankrupt and karma comes around to gives them what they all deserve. Stay clear at all co$t you an arm and a leg. They wiped out my kids vacation fun money just because they could.
Very thoughtful and knowledgeable.
Takes care of me everytime!
Cool
Took my vehicle in, they run diagnostics, as soon as they discovered the issue, they called and let me know what they found, never did anything unless it was discussed and agreed on, so there was no surprises when I picked up my vehicle. It’s like a whole new car, runs like a top! Matt is the best, he’s thorough, honest and stands behind his work! I highly recommend Interstate for all your automotive repairs, you won’t regret the decision! I know I didn’t!!
