They go around trying to take other businesses employees. And keep pushing and talk bad about our current employer. I was pretending to be an employee to see how far they would go.And very rude when I said not Interested.Dont solicit other business employees take your flyer and post them at the bulletin boards in colleges or Safeway or do craigslist.com ads.You will lose our business as customers. Jackson Hewitt is where we will go.

We have been going to H&R for years, and weve always been happy with the person who has done our taxes. But the last couple of years weve seen Kathleen Shipley, and she is great. We will be going asking for her, every year from now on.

I was a walk in and was helped pretty quickly which was nice, the 2 ladies at the front desk were nice and helpful. However, the person who helped me fill everything out didn’t really seem to know what she was doing... she kept looking up stuff and I didn’t feel very comfortable being helped by someone who seemed to have less knowledge. She also recommended i not submit certain tax documents because it was not necessary which seemed odd to me... Not to mention she was very loud and seemed to yell out my business which made me even more uncomfortable and it was very unprofessional from a clients point of view. I will not be returning to do my taxes to H&R Block next year. Although they got the job done the person who helped me was unprofessional and talked to me in a rude tone at times.

Overall good, but I got assigned to a tax professional who didnt speak English very well... So I was unclear on a few things that concerned me. I considered rescheduling but I didnt want to be rude, as the agent was very nice.

We made appointment for 3 pm, arrived on time and did not get to talk to tax specialist until 3:30 pm. What was the point making the appointment? I had to leave for another appointment before the tax preparation was done since it was taking too long and my wife had to stay and finish. We were charged $359 for simple tax return preparation. That was way more than I expected. Pricing was not communicated upfront.

Your represntative was so efficient and so qualified to itemize all expenses deductions and get my return tax well done to my expectations.

I was very happy with the customer service.

1st appointment at this location. I was in here for a long time . Nothing got done? Signature needed from wife. (They said) I was schedule another appointment at 11:30am the next day at the Sea- Tac branch because wifes signature was needed . So we arrived around that time and still waited 30 min. Time is valuable people need to get to work, Not everyone have the luxury of getting weekends off we work 7 days a week, wife was in a hurry so we had to leave. But we was respectful, And left our taxes document there for them to finish it up. We didnt receive a call for a week. So I call back on the following Monday to see whats going on they finally got back to me at 8:41 p.m. before closing that and told me to come in the next day at the Burien branch the 3rd time about a week and a half later, that is . Ok we understand it busy . So we both came in there on our schedule time again still waiting around. While other folks are come in just to sign docs really quick in and out of there in front of our faces. If they wanna talk about patient we waited a week an half for them to respond to us or finish things up. Keep in mind, we are paying big money to get these taxes done. Also We are not getting, Expecting a big taxs return, We have to pay H and R block $419, pay the i.r.s back and well aware of that . (We just want it done fast) They need to be on point with the scheduling specially at this location. Ive done my taxes at the Des moines memorial dr. Location for years and never had any problems the Faster was polite and quick and professional . What could have been helpful . 1. They could of finished my taxs document the very first appt. Ive could have taken it home for her to sign then bring back and it would have been done instead of setting all this appointment that they cant keep. We shouldnt have to wait longer than we are Supposed to, showing up to wait time and time again. No one wants to wait around .Also front desk lady Should be more courteous in resolving and defusing problems instead of making customers more agitated. Especially if I ask her politely to get my documents back in a nice manner. There is a reason why people get frustrated. It wasnt just this one time, there was a build up .Thats not how you do business with customers . I will not be returning to h and r block, because of this kind of behavior.

Perfect Experience!I went to H&R Block in Burien last week, 2/24/15. I had never gone to an H&R Block before. I was very confused about my Income Tax for 2014 so set up an appointment with Joyce for 6PM. I arrived early and the staff could not have been nicer. Joyce was there right at 6PM and spent 45 minutes with me. She entered my income, interest, deductible expenses etc. She found I owed no taxes and she charged me no fee. I will be a return customer for sure!! Hopefully for them, next year, I will owe taxes and pay them a fee for their work.

Mrs. Madsen is as good as it gets when it comes to tax preparation.

This location must think you are rich. I drove for Lyft for 3 months. Taxes owed and the payment requested was the same as what i owed. Digging deep H&R Block in Burien. I did not get my taxes done here. -last comment made to me by older female was: good tax preparer service comes with a higher price. No, I heard the older female give another customer discounts because she didnt create much income.Disappointed
