I don’t usually write reviews or give lower ratings but I really have to say this here.I was there yesterday to take a passport size photo and it took them 30 minutes or more to do that. Even though it was time consuming, I was cool with it because I had no plans after.The thing I was frustrated about is that the picture they took was horrible, the camera quality was below par. It’s very disappointing why they would print such horrible quality pictures but advertise on boards saying “100% passport photo approved.”And they charged me $17 for that. I would’ve used my iPhone camera at home and asked my friend to take a picture.So just a heads up to whoever is gonna take a passport picture.
Excellent customer service. You may have to park a little far away from the store, but once inside things tend to move quickly and the employees are very courteous and polite.
Not busy at all on a Friday at 11 am. Amazon return took 30 seconds! Staff member was polite and helpful. Very clean establishment, will definitely return.
I went to this location to drop off a package that I had already paid to ship via the UPS website. I scanned my mobile code, the label printed but the employee informed me that I needed additional paperwork. I asked her how to get the paperwork and she told me to call UPS customer service. Call UPS customer service while I’m standing in an UPS store?! She then informs me that this is not really a UPS store but a small independent business.After 20 frustrating minutes, the necessary paperwork was gathered and my package was accepted to be shipped.I will not be returning to this location. I will choose a more competent independent business.
DO NOT GET A PASSPORT PHOTO HERE.I was in line to get a passport photo (they advertise the service). The woman in line ahead of me was getting her passport photo redone because it was not accepted by the State Department.When it came my turn, it was clear that the employee didnt know how to operate the camera. In addition, the camera looked like a cheap version of a Canon Elf. I sent the photo to the State Department with my application.My photo was rejected too! That puts my passport renewal behind by another six weeks. One mistake, I understand, but cmon.......this is a photo for an official document. DO IT RIGHT!!!!!!!!!
I was in the Burien store is 7/17 with my father to have notary and copies made. We worked with a great person who was knowledgeable and patient with my elderly father. We stepped aside to let someone ahead of us as she was clearly impatient. She was rude to staff, yelled a bit and stomped off when she couldn’t get what she wanted (she didn’t have the right info for a return).Kudos to the staff for handling this customer (who came back later in a better mood). Staff are just doing their best. We are all just going through life. Take a deep breath and get over yourself.I’ve been to this store several times, and other locations, too. Never had a problem with service or staff.Thank you Team UPS Burien!

I have going there for years to do Amazon returns. Now they started charging $1 for piece of tape.
Fast and friendly. Organized and efficient. Much better than the USPS. Recently we have been having troubles with deliveries because of UPS drivers, but the people at this UPS store are excellent. They are forced to deal with the public all day every day during this pandemic, and I’m sure they don’t get paid enough. I really appreciate the work they do.

When youre out and about then realize you need something printed off from an email - what do you do? Go back home just to print? Not an option if time is short.UPS to the rescue!! Its not just for shipping and receiving. Thank you Miyi for suggesting I forward UPS the email and then print from that versus the charge of $2.00 for the first two minutes on the computer PLUS the fee to print papers. She was able to pull up the documents I needed to print and printed them pronto!She saved me a trip back home and not to mention a few dollars. Excellent service!

Service is fine, but $16 for a passport photo? Cost not posted, so my fault for not asking, but seriously? 3 times the cost of Walgreens or CVS.

HORRIBLE Service!!! Brought in packages to drop off and the lady was so LAZY and unprofessional. She turned me away and argued with me because she didn’t want to check in my pre paid UPS drop offs. How hard is it to scan pre paid packages for a paying customer? The WORST customer service I’ve ever had in my life. I had to drive to another location and they accepted the packages with no problems.
Great customer service. Pamela is super knowledgeable. If you need something shipped or you need to receive something this is the place to go. I use them to receive stuff for my business and they do not discriminate if your business is not politically correct. Best customer service.
Over the past three months I have brought to Store #2726 complicated and detailed international shipping projects for my company as well as personal packages to ship within the United States.Miyi and her staff has consistently provided the ultimate in professional, efficient and courteous service. She goes way beyond the call of duty in determining the most cost-effective shipping rates and affordable, reliable packing solutions.I also required a number of documents and photos to be scanned. The service was provided quickly with outstanding image quality.I cant recommend this store enough.
My first review goes to this UPS location; because ALL the employees Ive encountered over the years act like they have a vested interest in genuinely helping you.We recently needed to mail a large piece of art and while it would have been easier to visit another location, I dropped my husband & art off at this location because I knew they would totally take care of him and his concerns about packaging and costs. Unprompted, my husband later brags to me about how helpful and nice they were which made the entire process so easy and stress-free. We had been procrastinating dealing with it, thinking it would be an expensive pain, they proved us wrong. Thanks everyone!
You shouldn’t call yourself place where you do notary!The girl I spoke with was extremely rude and had absolutely no clue how to do anything I asked for a Simple notary service!Disgraceful!
The UPS Store at the Burien Plaza location has been a great resource. I have gone several times and they have been able to help me with little or no charge. Even when it was busy, they were patient and ACTUALLY LISTENED to your questions and gave a real SOLUTION. For instance, I didnt know if I could use an old amazon bubble mailer to ship something new and they let me know I could. They have answered any little questions I have that helps me know my package will be delivered on-time for my eBay sales so I dont have to worry about my package being returned for some stupid little mistake.Im sure I sound like an advertisement but to sum it up, they are reliable, friendly, and a great team. They deserve better ratings!
I usually dont write reviews, however, this time I wanted to say thank you to the Burien UPS friendly staff. Having a mailbox at The UPS Store made our business life much easier, in addition to all the extra services they have, they also offer 24/7 access to all mailbox holders. Highly recommend!

One had this strange square scanner thing. Well I was directed to Burien in the rain, large package, with a four year old. I took the package and child out of the car four times and was turned away due to this weird Amazon square scanner thingy.Anyhow, I went in to this store, immediately greeted with friendly conversation. She took the box, scanned the phone and DONE! I had another package not taped or shipping label printed but she took it and did it all for me. She even interacted with my son, playing and having a great time. She folded a dollar bill into a fancy flowery heart/ bow tie looking thing for my sons piggy bank!Two female employees, very sweet, friendly, HELPFUL. And oh my gosh very, very close to where I needed to go next!Not sure why Amazon directed me to these other ups stores, they didnt have the technology to scan the square code, but this one did. Same yourself time, frustration, and go for convenience and ease!I will return, I cant say thank you enough.Seriously, I hugged her

I went to the post office yesterday. Again they were rude and unhelpful telling me that they dont provide tape Ill have to buy some. I came to my local ups store. Not only did the manager help me tape my box but she also cut it down 2 inches to save me money. The people that work here are always friendly! They even provide a little play area to keep kids occupied while you wait in line (which is never very long) I recommend to anyone tired of the poor service at the post office.
Had to return an Amazon item. The cashier scanned the code and my package was sent. It was quick and easy.This place has five star service !!Highly recommended. Thank you

I brought a box in that weighed 38 pounds and they were tryna charge me $192 and then i took it to the post office and they charged me $80. Both of them by ground. UPS charges more than double the price. Be aware.

Great service in and out quick
I frequently use UPS and have tried several different southend stores. I have found this store to provide the best service or the 4-5 near my Des Moines location. The differentiator for me was that I needed to send a homemade fir rocking chair to my daughter in NM. Several stores just did not seem confident of being able to do that job but Miyi at the Burien store confidently provided the packing/service and it arrived ontime and undamaged to NM. I also have had a couple of other experiences regarding scanning/faxing that were delayed at other stores but promptly provided at the Burien store.
Bad customer service. Dropped off 2 Amazon return packages, noticed my account information still slowed as if my packets had not been dropped off . i called and the lady said I had only printed a return label for the tracking item I was giving her. Asked to speak to manager and she said she was the manager. Her tone was very rude and unhelful. My husband had to go in person and speak to her directly. She told him all amazon packages are scanned and mine didnt appear. So he told her check for my pacakage and she found it . Clearly she had not scanned it at all and lied! This manager is extremely unprofessional. Never again will we go here.
The Owner is very knowledgeable and always helpful, the employees always seem friendly, usually quick service unless you have a customer that likes to ask a million questions and hold up the line.

Miyi and her team are hard working, friendly, customer service oriented and get the job done. From help with small prints, to complex packaging and shipping needs, they do a little bit of everything here.
