I was referred to K Single by another roofing company that was too busy for my repair job. So many roofing companies only want to install new roofs, but not fix old roofs! Luckily, K Single was willing and able, and they did a great job for a reasonable price. In addition to roof repairs they also fixed my chimney crown. Later I had a professional chimney sweep & inspection and they said that the chimney crown looked great. I really appreciate José and his team and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

K Single installed a 2600 sq ft new roof for me in 2014. The old roof was a disaster...a rotting shake roof and I needed it converted to a 40 year comp roof with new decking. I had three other bids for $12,000, $20,000 and $25,000. K Single came in at $8,000 and did an absolutely AMAZING job. Im the General Manager at a Handyman company so my praise of a lot of workmanship these days doesnt come easily.Their pricing is fair, they earned my trust and they are now my go to company for any of my large home improvement needs in the future.

The quality of the work here was good, and prices fair, but scheduling with this company was a total nightmare In short, we wont be using them again.We did a full roof replacement and partial reframing, siding repair, a bit of new gutters, deck repairs, and exterior painting with them. The roof and painting crew were good. The crew that did the siding and deck repair less so. We are still finding broken screws etc in the yard a week after the deck repairs. For the roof, there were days where they just didnt show up with no communication about why, and the time varied wildly each day. We had e-mails saying theyd be there at 9am every day, but sometimes that was 8am and other times it was noon. The scheduling for the painting and deck repairs almost made me want to cancel the work we had planned. We were told work would start on the 12th, come noon no one had showed up and i had to reach out to some unknown person at the company whose number i happened to have. They then tell me that they thought any day after the 12th would work and then gave me a run down of what the schedule should be. Fast forward and we have people showing up at our house at various days (not the ones we were given in our revised schedule) and hours from as early as 8am to as late as 6pm unannounced, and without ringing the doorbell to tell us they were there. Theyd literally just let themselves onto the property and start working. We just let them because we were so ready to be done.Again the quality of work here was fine, but communication and scheduling were the worst Ive ever experienced. Ill be more than willing to shell out a few extras dollars to another company for better communication and scheduling in the future. Id avoid this company if youre on a tight schedule or have a strict deadline.

Team was quick to provide a quote and then took 2 weeks to schedule and provide clarity on how they would match the trim.. not committing to painting the trim or not and leaving it up to the crew’s discretion, even though after countless emails asking for clarity on how the gutters would match our trim and clearly stating I preferred them to be painted. Ultimately decided to go with a different company after 2.5 weeks of email exchange with these guys wasting my time to get my gutter fixed.They have a $500 minimum for any job so beware if you’re looking for a small job or replacement, these guys will try to overcharge you.

I have a 1966 house with a 3x12 pitch. It has the original roof of tar and gravel, plus 2 additional layers of hot tarp and gravel. The style has interior gutters and a great 12 facing all around. I spent 1 year and a dozen roofers, both big and small, giving me solutions to getting a new roof before I settled on K Single. Their price was competitive. But they were the only company that could do the job and have it look the way I wanted - a needed upgrade maintaining the great 1966 roof style. That meant not putting a metal roof or a plastic wrap roof or rebuilding to make my house fit the new roof. K Single sent a great crew to take off my existing roof plywood up and install/build a new roof covered with beautiful asphalt shingles. It was a labor intensive and noisy experience, with all the hammering of new plywood after tearing up the old. Every day the crew would work, always blowing down the areas before going to leave it clean. If I ever needed another roof on another house, I would call them. If you need a roof different than my style, still call them. They will give you what you want and take care of any surprises they find. 6 stars.

Knowledgeable and professional. They came and looked at a concern of ours that actually didn’t end up needing any work and they didn’t charge us for their time. Had them back on another job and they were honest, quick and very reasonably priced.

KSingle just installed a new metal roof in the part of my roof that is flat and originally had torch-down.KSingle was recommended from a larger roofing company, Three Tree roofing, that said my roof project was too small for them. I was very happy with the process from beginning to end. The price was reasonable and the job was completed within a week. The workers, worked extremely long and hard hours to beat the upcoming weather. They paid attention to all levels of necessary detail (I saw a drone photo detail!) The workers were also congenial within the group and with me. I heard no swearing, and no poor attitude. No one smoked and they paid attention to COVID requirements. They did “tie in! “The foreman, Godo, was on site throughout. He answered all of my questions. As I also had my chimney resurfaced, part two was to paint the Chimney. Fabian also hit all of the marks. I plan to ask KSingle for a painting bid in the spring when I plan to have the exterior of my house painted. Bravo for allMarjorie Masel in Seattle

Any positive reviews are likely for older work. We used them in 2018, when Yoni was there, and they were great. Their bid came in way under others cost, were professional and showed up on time. They did our home roof, and our neighbors fence and roof, and then we used them again for our carport roof. With Yoni, we got a quote for a fence with a rolling gate (more expensive gate) for $9K for 205 ft. of chain link removal with 3 gates. Now that Yoni left, that same quote, with a non-rolling (less expensive to make) now was quoted for $12.5K. Not only that, they were a week late in providing a quote, past when they promised and only delivered after constantly hounding them.

Jose the owner care about his customers, all ways responsive, he knows what is doing very well. I recommend hiring him.

All work was performed on-time and as expected. They are very professional and a pleasure to work with. Everyone has complimented how beautiful our new roof turned out.
