The process from start to finish was very professional. Always called in advance to confirm appointments. Installed new chimney crown, cap and damper. Also cleaned chimney and inspection. Cleaned up afterwards and no mess. I would highly recommend for my next project. I now have a fully working fireplace

Great job. Our fireplace was falling away from the house due to water leaks and rotted wood. We hired Capital Local services to remove the old insert, rebuild the support, remove the brick surrounding the fireplace, install a new insert, and replace drywall. Long story short, they came, they saw, they fixed. The work was done on schedule, the team was thoughtful and cleaned and vacuumed the work area each day before leaving. We are very happy with the end result and would definitely hire again.

I requested a quote for repair from Angi.com. Responded quickly, then day of I was called and asked to reschedule to an earlier time due to technician availability. When confirming new time I was advised of an undisclosed inspection fee. I was requesting a quote not an inspection. When i canceled I was called a bunch of undesirable 4-letter words. And called a cheap-a**. Wow, just wow. Very unprofessional behavior.

We initially booked a chimney sweep, because smoke was getting into the house. When the cleaner showed up, he inspected the chimney and found that a cleaning was not necessary and didnt charge for it, and instead walked us through steps to talk to better operate the chimney. Since then, smoke has not been an issue.
