Our neighbor recommended Burien Appliance Repair to us when our washer went out. We had a bit of an emergency situation and they came out right away, fairly assessed and fixed the part. Best of all they were very reliable, trustworthy, and honest. You wont go wrong hiring these guys...

I called Burien Appliance Repair and got sheduled 5 days after which was their earliest. I was kept updated with texts as the day approached and was informed when the technician was en route. Jonas was very friendly and knowledgeable and solved my oven and stove issue in an hour. He was professional, skilled and respectful. I waited 5 days before they can come out, but it was all worth it!

Stanislav, from Burien Appliance Repair did an amazing job meticulously diagnosing and repairing our ancient dishwasher. He was able to narrow the issue down to a tiny micro switch that was failing, picked up the part the same day, and had us up and running by afternoon! We were skeptical of the diagnosis fee for trying to repair it vs replace it but with delivery and installation times running 3 weeks out we are very happy he was able to fix it for us in one day and saved us several hundred dollars! One of the other reviewers had a similar experience as mine. Burien Appliance subcontracted with Gordon Bryant to repair our Kenmore washing machine. Gordon diagnosed the problem as a faulty lid switch. When he said it’d be $230 in parts and labor I figured he’d have to order the part and come back later and it would take some time, but then he pulled out a new switch and had it in 10 minutes. I was happy that the motor wasn’t bad and to have the problem fixed so quickly - Sears, in contrast, had scheduled me 2 weeks out for a diagnosis (a long time without a washing machine for a family of 4). But, I also felt a little miffed at Burien Appliance for not telling me they would send out a sub, and a bit ripped off at paying that much for what I learned is a $10 switch, and 10 minutes of work. Of course there’s travel expenses etc...but still. I’ll file it under educational expense and be sure to replace the switch myself if it ever happens again. Based on this and one of the other reviews I saw, I’d expect to drop $250 minimum for these guys to get you up and running with the basics.

I should have followed the guidance of these reviews. Someone came to look at cooktop stating they could fix it only to never return, and never return calls. Called Burien Appliance Repair to ask what was going on with technician without ever receiving a return phone call even from Burien Appliance Repair. Sears came to fix it no problem, no chasing them down. Please go elsewhere for appliance repairs.

We have used them multiple times to repair a variety of appliances and brands. All technicians were very skilled and repairs are done quickly and professionally.

Not Honest! Lack of transparency. CANCELLED on me. Called and described the issue. They were happy to schedule an appointment and took my card information for initial fee. Then the next day (day of appointment) I get a call stating they are unable to make it because the technician doesnt know how to repair the issue...I appreciate that part however, at the time of call had I known this was a brokerage service where they gamble with clients and select the cheapest tech I could have done the same on my own. Dont overpromise and underdeliver. Just say you dont know if the techs can fix the problem...which btw, didnt seem like a big problem . Machine works fine just happens to make a squeaky noise.

They dont exist in Burien and do not service the area any longer. The web site is actually false advertising.

These folks from Burien appliance repair gave me the best service! Man on the phone was really nice and scheduling a tech was so easy! I also love that I can pay using my credit card aside from being convenient when you do not have cash it’s a guarantee that I can have disputes when I need to. So day came and tech was in my house on time looking professional. He diagnosed the dishwasher and told me what he would do before fixing it. He was done in 30mins and it’s perfect to use again!!! No complaints!!! Liked it and will use again!

Contracted out. First time they came out the experience was great. Our dryer stopped heating. However, after repair, our dryer stopped heating again within 3 days. We called the company again, and said that it was contracted out. We never received a receipt for the first service. They came out again, and dryer is not heating after a second fix. It took 4 calls, and a week before the contractor returned our call or came out.

Very fast and reasonable. I could not find an appliance repair company as great as them in Burien! Very knowledgeable with Sub zero.

Called to make an appointment. Henry answered. He was sharp and lacking customer service skills. I was not comfortable giving my credit card over the phone for a diagnostic appointment hold. I gave Henry this same feedback. And hung up the phone.

Called to have my Ge clothes dryer that was not heating fixed. Tech was on time and quickly fixed my dryer. He was professional and charges right! Will recommend!

A technician called Gordon showed up for one hour to fix my rental’s freezer. He spent less than an hour and charged $225 for labor only!! I never got a call with the estimate and didn’t know he charged my tenant even thou o was the one who called and contracted him. Called Burien appliance repair and they said “there’s nothing we can do” the technician is independent. Called Gordon and he said that the price is not per hour but per job. $225 for changing a filter in less than a hour? I’m considering a career change. My bill came to $381+$59.99(for him to show up). Careful. Don’t call this number.
