Spoke with Raymond about converting a DVD to film. Tried to get assurances that it would be the best quality he could derive from a standard definition DVD. I was clear that I knew the quality would be limited to the original source (so no HD quality). I am a filmmaker with knowledge of technical aspects, but getting an answer confirming that he would make it the best quality MP4 with the settings of his system was met with patronizing responses. Finally, he believes that it is acceptable to pay for a service without being able to see the product in order to confirm the quality. Having a watermarked version or short clip is the fair and professional and/or having the location you drop off the material provide a quality check is the other ethical way to do business. He offers neither and is rude.Until he finds a better way to check and deliver his product, it is suspect.
