I had a flat tire with a nail and a razor like object stuck in my tire. Greg reassured us and told me he would be able to fix it without having to replace the tire. He let us leave the car right before closing and it was ready for pick up the next morning. He was very professional and helpful. I’m definitely coming back here just because of his customer service and fast results.

Staff is wonderful, the business seems to kept clean and well stocked, sadly only one trained individual for diagnostic checks. If out sick or something else mist go elsewhere for assistance. Fortunately rare but it was at the time I went so I cannot give a review for that service.

I Had an appointment today at 9:30 and was greeted by Edwin once I entered. He confirmed all the work I was there for and was very helpful. Before I left the tech checked everything and notice I can use a air filter, I forgot that I needed to change it and had them replace it. The work being done was finished in a timely manner and I will be going back for my car Services.

Showed up here on Saturday 4/17/21 right before they were closing the shop. Had an emergency issue with my car and this was the only auto shop in the area that was open. The manager Edwin and mechanic Patrick both went out of their way to help me out and even gave me a good deal on the services. Will definately return.

Best Pep Boys and BEST corporation based auto repair/tire company! Myron (manager) was extremely informative and helpful with all questions. I work on my own car so I know what costs are what (except tires) and I never felt that this guy was trying to pull a fast one over me. genuine honest guy with the intent on getting your car fixed for a fair price! I came for a full set of tires and am very happy with the results. HINT: make an appointment online before you go. just going means you most likely wont get in. also ASK FOR MYRON!

I usually have a great experience here. However, today, I scheduled a 9am appointment and no one showed. I waited till 10:30am and still no one. I rescheduled for 12:30pm today and still no one. Theyre phone message and website say theyre supposed to be open, but still closed as of 12:44pm. Not cool to waste my day like that. Now I have to miss work tomorrow to do what should have been done today. Not happy!

Went in for a routine oil change and my car was returned swiftly.Positives:-Great price.-Kevin helped me get my oil changed quickly and honestly.-Convenient location.Negatives:I think that corporate should probably help their staff a bit more scheduling. They had two guys working on a Sunday, which I imagine is normally rather busy. And they have to operate as mechanics and clerks. Bottlenecks the ability for people to drop and off and pick up their cars. That’s my major qualm.

Myron breaks down the information for your car in an informative and friendly manner, and they are open to answer any questions you may have about what your car needs. Great experience! Went to pick up some brakes from here on a fuke some time ago and I loved how friendly they were here. Recently my car was in need of a check up and tire rotations. I called in and Kevin was super helpful in fitting me in. Once arriving I met Myron who was nice and knowledgeable. He did my Spring Prep service, and also gave me a quote and explained what preventive maintenance materials were soon in need of being taken care of. Ill be bringing more cars here for sure!! Was quoted a tire price a little cheaper than anywhere else so gave them a shot.They said it would cost X and be done in a couple hours. 3hrs later they tell me its actually 125% of X and theyll finish by the end of the day (5hrs total)I had 3 quotes lower than the final price from other, higher rated, places that would have also saved me hours of waiting to pay less. No investigation into why they quoted me another price they just said they dont know why they would have, and billed me more than half the other places in the area. Its a tire, a fixed good, the price shouldnt change.UPDATE: Have to update as I reached out to the email address that responded on here. Fast forward a couple days and the manager Jimmy was refunding me the difference and could not have been nicer or more sincere explaining what happened and reconciling it.

Two months ago I needed an oil change and 105k maintenance on my 2013 Mazda3. I went to this pep boys, Kevin was courteous and helpful and I was in and out of there in quite a reasonable time and a very good price. I respect that no one was trying to upsell me for unnecessary service. I wanted to change the air filters on my car as well however they didnt have the parts, they said I could order them but they also said its a very easy DIY process and not being of immediate need I agreed. Ill be bringing my car back whenever I need maintenance on my car and I highly recommend this shop.

I was told I needed new brakes and found this pep boys online with a great price and reviews. Took my car in, and they completed a free inspection. Told me they didnt know why I had been told that and that it wasnt necessary yet. Saved me some $ and didnt take advantage of me when they could have. Not your typical car repair shop. My first experience with this Pep Boys location, I brought my car in for an oil change. When I picked it up, my door wouldn’t close properly. I went back in to talk to the manager and he assured me that there was no possible way the door was damaged under their watch. I asked him to review the footage on the security camera from when my car had been worked on and he found that the door had been left open when the vehicle was lifted. The door caught on something and bent down. I gave the manager a chance to see if he could repair the door rather than telling him we need to go to an auto body. Fortunately, he was able to fix it.My second experience with this Pep Boys location, I brought my car in because of trouble with my brakes. It was an expensive and long enough repair that the package included a Lyft from Pep Boys to my office and back. The manager on site, Jimmy, booked the Lyft to take me to work, but when I was called to pick up my car, they told me that they had already closed out my ticket and couldn’t book me a Lyft back to Pep Boys, but they would reimburse me if I booked the Lyft myself. I did and when I arrived, Jimmy was no longer there and a different manager handed me my keys. He told me I would have to have Jimmy handle the reimbursement. I emailed Jimmy and he told me that I would have to call in or come in to be reimbursed. I called in and he told me he was busy with a customer and I needed to call back. I did and he wasn’t in, but I was told they would have Jimmy call me back. He didn’t. I sent one last email and Jimmy never responded to it. I still haven’t been reimbursed for my Lyft ride several months later.All I can say is that I have had a great experience at all other Pep Boys locations outside of this one. It’s a little shocking that I have had bad experiences both times I’ve gone to this location given their high google rating. I’ll leave it up to you whether you feel like they deserve your business, but I won’t be going back to this location. I posted this review on yelp and google and I hope that it will be heard by someone at Pep Boys.

These guys are amazingly helpful. I broke down on a road trip and went to another pepboys first and they were so rude. I call up Myron and he told me to bring it right over. Hes gone above and beyond the typical manager and is just a wonderful human being. Tyrone is a great mechanic and so patient with my van. So thankful these 2 were there for me.

Literally the absolute worst service EVER. I had an appointment at 7am, came in at 7am. I told the guy I was here to get an oil change. I handed him my keys and he ran outside before I could ask any questions or get a word in. He literally just ran out the door. Then he put my car up on the thing and took all the tires off. Then he ran back in and I finally got to ask at least one of my questions. I have a debit card that my bank never sent a pin for. So I’ve had to use my debit card for credit transactions since I don’t have a pin. 95% of places don’t need a pin. You can just press enter on the keypad, do it as a credit transaction and go about your life. So when he ran back in I asked him could I do that. He had an attitude with me and said he doesn’t know what I was talking about or what I mean. I tried to explain it to him but he was rude and told me if my card didn’t go through then I wouldn’t have a car. All I wanted to know was could I use my debit card as a credit transaction. I also had a question about types of oil but he was in such a rush for some reason even though I was THE ONLY PERSON THERE, he didn’t have time apparently to here me out. Then he proceeeded to to a free tire rotation WITHOUT my permission until he told me about it at the end cause I guess he needed to have something to put down in the computer. Do yourselves a huge favor and never come here. Go somewhere else where customer is actually valued. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! Btw his name was Joseph L. And no, I will not be sending my contact info to Pep Social . Com or whatever that review email thing is. There’s nothing to investigate. I had a question, he was incredibly rude and mean to me and threatened not to give my car back. If you need evidence watch the security cameras. I’m happy that at least some people on here have had a good experience, but I also feel like some of these 5 star reviews are fake. You can literally use a website to buy fake reviews. How do you go from someone reviewing one star, to five stars, back to one star, then to five stars?! Doesn’t make since.

Called in the morning to confirm that they can remove lugs with locks if I bought new tires they said yes, went after work, no one around to help me, then I asked a old man behind the counter looking like he about to die any second and rudely tells me that they cant remove them only the dealer, like if I stole the car. Went to Pepboys on Hollywood, they removed all 4 for $60. Old man only has like 3 years of life left let him go and hire someone who actually wants to help

I wish I could give no stars. I called this location and spoke with Kevin at about 11:30am. He said I could bring in my car for oil change any time. I walked in and he said they were busy at about 12:30pm and I should wait an hour and a half! Ridiculous waiting time for a simple oil change. I agreed to go back later and he set an appointnent for same day at 2pm. I walked in at 2pm sharp and got rejected because the appointment at 2pm was given to someone else who made the appointment online!! Their system looks like a corrupt old appointing system. He was not really apologetic, saying he has not enough mechanics to do the job. Never going back to this branch. Not recommended at all. They are short staffed and not courteous.

Kevin is the Assistant Manager and is very unprofessional insisted that my car was ok after he reset the engine light that was blinking by going through my fuse box with his recorder. Then he calls me and tells me nothing is wrong with my car and its ok to drive long distance and if anything happens I know where to find him. Long story short, he ruined my engine by professional negligence and professional malpractice. I later learned that the when the engine light is blinking means do not drive and caution. He should of connected it to the diagnosis machine I was happy too leave it there and have him fix it. Now he ruined my engine and Im reporting him to the BAR. IN MY OPINION HE IS NOT ETHICAL AND SHOULDNT BE AN ASSISTANT MANAGER OR WORKING ON OTHER PEOPLES VALUABLE ITEMS. BEWARE DO NOT GO TO THIS PEPBOYS.Let me just add this. I kept asking Kevin are you sure my car is going to be ok I have my 5 year old with me I dont want to get stranded and Kevin INSISTED nothing was wrong but he never diagnosed the car!!! I was stuck in EAST LA in the heat with my 5 year old who was crying because of the heat and the 3 hour wait for the Tow Truck that Kevin said hell get covered to bring it back to Burbank. I bring it back to Burbank and he says he cant fix it because its the engine. BECAUSE HE SAID IT WAS OK TO DRIVE LONG DISTANCE WHICH RUINED MY CAR. Ive been stuck in the SFV 4 DAYS NOW, missing work, my daughter is missing day care thats paid for, were paying my friend to stay at his house. My daughter is extremely stressed out and wants to go home and KEVIN didnt even have the RESPECT to get me a rental.. at least do it for my daughter!The other employees are ok but Kevin is not to be trusted in my opinion. Happy 4th of July I had reservations to go camping 😰 if he would of did his due dilligence and find the problem I would of happily paid for it to get fixed there or take it to Kia. it he could of been the fuel injector regular or maintanence but no he insisted everything is ok and now my engine is severely damaged.

I attempted a walk-in after having battery and engine light issues and, even on a busy Sunday, the manager Kevin was polite, very accommodating, thurough and honest with customers. Also offered free coffee to guests while you wait. He personally assisted with diagnosing the issue on my Jeep, replaceing my battery and walked me through the diagnosis on the battery. Definitely recommend thier business and suggest calling in first to give heads up before arriving.

One word: SHIESTY. I don’t like leaving negitive reviews but this is a WARNING to anyone trying to go here to get your car worked on at this location. I took my car in for a standard serpentine belt replacement, once it was all done the service manager MYRON ANTHONY called and said there was an issue with how my alternator was installed (by the manufacturer mind you) and said that i would have the same problem and asked if I wanted them fix the issue, I said “no, I’ll get a 2nd opinion from the manufacture” MYRON assured me that my dealer would cover their repair costs and fix the issue, after taking it for that 2nd opinion the manufacture did a deeper inspection, everything checked out, they actually charged me less that Pep boys on the labor and part, when I call MYRON back, he went from 0-60 in no time, yelling at me on the phone saying he’s ready to “go to battle with me” being rude, saying I was ripping him off refusing to refund my money. Bottom line is I paid for a service and repair for a problem that was never fixed. DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY, he’s the type of mechanic that will create and issue to get more money out of you, must be commission based, terrible service, never going here again, I can’t speak for all pep boys, but I will never be returning to this location again.
