Three years ago I was looking for a nice physical activity to get me back in shape and allow me to evacuate the tension of a stressful job and an even more stressful commute. I had previous martial arts experience in my teenage years and thought I would enjoy getting on a mat again now that I am in my forties. Upon my first visit at Inspire, the friendly staff and incredibly welcoming environment won me over immediately. So much that I became a regular, and will soon be testing for black belt.The dedication of the staff, the love for their students, and their incredible ability to pivot during a worldwide pandemic has been nothing but first class : offering online classes via Zoom or outdoors classes when gyms were shutdown around the county.The measures taken (mandatory masks, safe distances, regular cleanups) allow students to work out safely and confidently. Inspire went above and beyond to ensure our peace of mind and allow us to keep working on our martial arts curriculum or just get a nice and fun kickboxing workout.I cannot recommend them enough. Go Inspire!

Inspire Martial Arts & Fitness was a great discovery. I found them on FB and I thought why not lets give it a try. I enrolled my daughter and I have found they are really inspiring young kids and teenagers and everyone. The physical challenges are just a part of their training, they also reinforce values like being responsible and honest. They challenge kids to be better all the time. I love Instructor Donna and everyone is so kind and respectful. I already refer them to a dear friend looking for some physical activities for her daughter. I love Inspire MA&F and I highly recommend them!!

After moving to Burbank in August 2018, my son needed a new martial arts home. He had trained for about 4.5 years in NJ and had earned a black belt there, so it was important to us to find a place where he could transfer in at that level and feel comfortable. I knew after watching one class and speaking with the wonderful instructors that we were in the right place. Its a very welcoming and respectful atmosphere for students of all ages and abilities. Theres a strong focus on developing ones mind as well as ones body for an all-around healthy approach to life. Listening to Master Winkles encouragement to the class has helped my own parenting and also drew me in so much that I personally joined in December. The family classes allow me to train with my 12 year old while still working with other like-minded adults, and fits well into my packed working-parent schedule. Every instructor is amazing, caring, and supportive and, in turn, they develop students who share those same qualities. Its a pleasure to be in such great company.

First off, this place is awesome and you should take classes here. Second off, all of the instructors and Grandmaster Winkle are AWESOME. They work you super hard, but they are never mean about it. They create a wonderfully accepting and fun environment to sweat in. I’ve been doing the kickboxing classes since last July and let me tell you what. It is the hardest workout I have ever done. It has pushed me to places I never thought I could go. I am stronger, faster, more confident, and fitter than I ever thought I could be. I have only seen the martial arts classes, not taken them, but they look just as amazing, especially if you have kids! I wish I could rate Inspire 10 stars instead of just 5. Ive had the privilege of studying with Master Winkle for over 15 years. He is one the best martial artist in the world. I have never seen a master put so much love and care into his students. I have sat in on hundreds of Black Belt tests at countless schools. His test that I witnessed last year was the best test I have ever seen. Every single student was perfect. I have never seen that before. When looking for a martial arts school look no further. I am a school owner and would proudly send my own kids to train under him.

I love this place!!!! The people are positive and helpful!!! I cant do everything yet and they are able to modify exercises and work with me no problem! I have nothing but great things to say about Inspire Martial Arts. Everyone is extremely friendlyand helpful. Their curriculum is on point for all fitness levels. They are like a huge extended family.

This is the best place. The instructors are very friendly and they motivate you to do the exercise. And the exercise itself doesnt feel like such because they make you enjoy every minute and even want more.

I dont normally review businesses, but Im happily reviewing Inspire Martial Arts because it has been such an important place for my son and me. My son was not interested in ball sports - baseball, basketball, soccer- but we wanted to keep him active, and a family from his school suggested martial arts. We checked out a few schools in the area, and although my son was interested, or we werent impressed with the schools themselves or the instructors. When we stepped into Inspire Martial Arts it was a different story. Not only was the staff helpful and respectful, but the students were immediately friendly and went out of their way to greet us. Inspire has created a culture of respect that was immediately felt. I noticed they had family classes that parents and kids could take together. I decided to join and take classes with my son. It was the best move Ive ever made. Three years later were on the verge of getting our black belts together, weve made countless friends, we are in better shape, and we are inspired daily by Master Keith Winkle, his wife Chief Instuctor Peregoy, and the rest of their amazing, professional staff. I cant recommend this place enough. This place lives up to the name Inspire!

About 2 years ago I got a Groupon for some trial classes at Martial Arts World in Burbank. I had personally done trial classes at a few other schools around Burbank to continue my almost 20 years of martial arts training.Martial Arts World beat them all by a long shot! The price, schedule, curriculum, and staff are all the best! Every class is different, but the structure is concrete and amazing! You will see what I mean when you give it a shot.Not only do you get a great workout and learn some awesome techniques, but you develop yourself as a person physically, mentally, morally, and even fincacially. They got kids changing from bad grades to straight As, folks like you and me dropping pounds and keeping them off through healthy habits and lifestyles, and even working folks making more money!What do you have to lose? Get over there and give it a shot!

My Daughter Savannah has been with Martial Arts World 3 years going on 4 this July. She started when she was 3 years old and she was in the little bulldogs class and now she is a blue belt. We could not been more happy that we found a place that care for the students and helps them when they need help. My daughter gets frustrates when she cant do her poomse or self defence. They never give up on her. Thanks you to all the Instructors and the students that take the time to help each other out. MUDO!
