I was struggling to land a job amidst the covid crisis when I found a listing from Staff Connection. I was immediately charmed by their staff. I would call, text and email and they’d get back to me with detailed answers almost immediately! I have been with other agencies where you fall through the cracks or get sent the same mass job recommendations as everyone else. Not here. They’re personable, they’re supportive, and they want you to thrive where you land. When I came to them with concerns about my previous placement, they did everything they could to find me something that fit my needs. Working with Staff Connection has been better than I could have hoped for. I was a bit hesitant about using a staffing agency, but that all subsided after my first meeting with SC. They are extremely responsive and pleasant to work with. You can tell they actually enjoy helping other people which makes the job search process that much less grueling! I first moved to LA in September of 2019. When I first moved I contacted as many temp agencies as possible. If youve heard of it, I applied. None of them were able to find a temp position for me...until I discovered Staff Connection. They were able to place me at a company within 2 weeks and after a few weeks of hard work I was told of an open position that I should apply for. I applied to the full time position and got it. None of this would be possible without Staff Connection. I cant recommend them enough!

I applied for a job unknowingly through them and once that concluded I’ve had to track them down for updates on available positions. As long as I don’t contact them they aren’t contacting me. Now that I see the other reviews that include racial disparities I suppose I understand why. I also experienced a lack of communication during my assignment. I always felt as if I was bothering them when seeking clarification on my assignment.(Update to response)I requested an Uber to be provided because I went into work unscheduled due to a lack of communication. No one on job site or from Staff Connections alerted me not to come in. There was also an expectation that holidays would be worked so there was no way for me to know. I’d also like to say that if multiple people from different demographics feel there was disparity in job placement as a small business I feel you should see that feedback as an opportunity for growth; not as an offense.

Will email you (not call) the day before an assignment is set to begin, after youve turned down other offers to advise theyre pushing off the start date 2 weeks. For a temporary position! Sorry for any inconvenience. Will not have good info re: parking either. Do not waste your time.

Staff Connection is the 3rd agency Ive been to recently and it is the first one where I was treated as more than just a number. Over the last few months, I had a number of horrible experiences with other agencies not calling me back or trying to send me to jobs that I had expressed multiple times I wouldnt be interested in. Staff Connection took the time to get to know me better, understand my needs, and actually cared about finding a job that would be a good fit for me. They placed me with a wonderful company and I could not be more grateful to Nikkie and her team.

I had been job-searching for a while hoping to find a temporary position while applying to graduate programs. We used Staff Connection to fill several positions within our office. The candidates were highly qualified, professional and presentable. We were very satisfied with both the employees and the agency; smooth transactions and good communication. Resume hoarders... they will not place you. They are just out collecting resumes. Look elsewhere, they pay or make their current employees display “positive reviews” and also complain to get all their bad reviews taken away. Don’t believe the positive reviews... user beware they had my review removed here and on yelp so only positive reviews show. You’ve been warned.
