The exceptional reviews were on target for Nick’s and I’m all the richer for waiting a month for an appointment. I purchased a Groupon wheel alignment back in August 2020 and now my brakes seem to rub. I admit I was late for the appointment armed with an expired coupon but Nick told me if I could wait he would try to fit me in. A short time later Nick told me my brakes were at 50% and my car was aligned. I would highly recommend Nick’s especially to women who want an honest assessment of their car repairs and cost. Did I mention the waiting area is small but it seemed large because of the hospitality extended when you first walk in.

They took great care of me! On price and quality work on my work truck! I ended up having problems 2,1/2 years later due to mother nature. Yes it was out of warranty? It didnt matter to them. They have a $50 Groupon for alignment services and they discriminated on my Audi saying that its more difficult to do because its foreign. I have brought other audis to them and no problem but this time around everything has changed. They said its ok for a Volkswagen to get the Groupon but when a Audi A3 has the same chassis as a Jetta I dont see a difference on why I need to get charged more because of a badge. They still couldnt get the alignment perfect because they didnt want to go the extra length to unstick a bolt to adjust the camber

It was hours before I was set to drive my 2015 Nissan Versa out of town when my entire clutch assembly stopped working. I towed my vehicle to this repair shop and talked with Nick Jr. What I first noticed was the excellent customer service him and his staff provided. They addressed any questions I had professionally. I was also able to tell that Nick Jr. knew what he was talking about when explaining what repairs needed to be done with my vehicle. You will pay a reasonable amount for the repairs but it’s worth it to have reliable trustworthy people to repair your vehicle in a timely fashion.

But I was very pleased at the level of customer service and professionalism I experienced at Nicks. I was quickly given an appointment and in and out when it was time for my appointment. They were very courteous and welcoming throughout the whole process. I also observed how they interacted with other customers and they too received that same excellent care and attention. The first time I came to Nick he did my oil change in my car I like the atmosphere I like his place I like the way he keeps the place going Nick is reliable responsible and hes a true person to keep his word what I like about him the most is that when he does the oil change he just dont do the oil change he looks around your car to make sure that you are secure before he releases the car to you if he feels as something needs to replace he will tell you at that time and then you can make a decision on what you need to do if you need to come back ex cetera. this time I am coming back to him again for HID light in my passenger car Nick was able to fix that problem and his prices are very reasonable. First time going here. I was told from another mechanic that I needed my trans looked at and it may need to be rebuilt or replaced. After taking it to Nicks. He called me to say the trans seemed just fine. Just needed a good tune up. After it was fixed. He told me when I pick it up. He wants to go for a test drive with me to be sure Im satisfied. Took my car to Nicks on a recommendation from CarMax and it was the BEST thing I couldhave done. They found not 1 but 2 issues and didnt hesitate to put me into a rental that they were willing to cover for me. The staff was very nice and polite and the service was great. THE BEST MECHANIC EVER! Its very rare you find an honest mechanic and I am very grateful to have finally found one. Carmax referred me to Nicks and this will be the only mechanic that will touch my vehicle. Excellent customer service and the staff is very friendly (especially Jimmy). Nick remembers your name (and your voice) and makes you feel like more than just a customer. He even told me to bring my car back for a check up...who does that...Nicks...thats who! Maannnn, came in for an alignment (best price and service) to only find out that my tires are “too bald” to get an alignment. All shops follow this policy and that’s understandable, but what makes nicks Precision Transmission special is that they put the extra effort of rotating my tires to make sure I walk out with some type of service so I got a 2 tire alignment and was told to come back for the other 2 tire alignment after I replace the tires. Then we couldn’t find the lock for the lug nuts, and of course Jimmy had taken charge and put the team into critical thinking mode in which they came up with the idea of how to take the lug nut lock off, WITHOUT THE LOCK! Best ship in town. Shoutout to jimmy and nick, great team and wish to see them prosper in all local towns

Honestly one of the best places Ive ever been to and trust me Ive been to a lot of auto shops. Nick was very kind to myself and every client coming in. I believe his name was Sammy, he was answering all my questions, they know what they are doing there! They did an alignment for my Chevy today and they tested my car before returning it and left me feeling very confident. This place is clean and they show you whats wrong with the car. Ill definitely return for future repairs. Good job up there!

Went in for a computer diagnosis due to possible suspension problems. Never got a copy of the actual diagnostic report but received a printout of what was needed along with the cost. I was told that I needed front and rear struts and 2 rear wheel bearings for just over $1,700. Something didn’t sound right so I got a 2nd and 3 opinion WITH the diagnostic reports. No struts needed for either end and only work needed for rear (speed sensor circuit,abs control system malfunction and right wheel bearing hub). Save your time and money!

This place was very professional and friendly towards me. They treated me like valued customer. I’m still waiting on my car which is receiving a 4 wheel alignment but I have a good feeling that the work is going to be quality and done right.If not, I will update this review you can bet your bottom dollar.

One of the best place I have ever taken my vehicle too. I was sold a SUV from a mechanic whom I thought I could trust since I used to take my other vehicle too, but he screwed me. I didnt even have a month with the SUV when the transmission have out. I couldnt believe it they wouldnt even help me fix it. I got it towed to Nick and they took care of it. They also told me that I would be needing a new wheel bearing and gave me a discount since I got the transmission, staff is really nice and professional always willing to help. After getting an estimate last week I dropped my car off this morning. Work isnt even done yet but I must say that nick and the others I met there were wonderful. So helpful and friendly. I use a walker to get around and the first time I was there one of the guys in the garage noticed me getting out of car with it - he immediately came out and helped and when I left they walked me to my car and put it in the back seat for me. These guy really know what customer service means. Ill pick up my vehicle in a day or two.

Nick is the typical sweet talking guy trying to just sell you a job. He talks about how his dad business and stuff etc. Yeah never do I recommend this place to anybody. After taking my car to have new transmission put in withe everything I find out that it is one from a junkyard. Spray painted silver. No new clutch, slave cylinder. What really pissed me off the most is there clutch fluid was not changed. Not only did he say he did this and everything. When I tried to show it spray painted and fluid was dirty because it had to be filtered and the spray paint was to blend everything together to look cleaner. I have never had anyone try to pull the wull over my eyes before like this guy. Never trusting this guy again, should have listened to other people telling me the same. They say they will do things but they dont no wonder why they tool a job no one else wanted...never coming back, everyone has told me I should have listened. You have been warned.

Upfront and honest service here, Im from Michigan and my transmission took a crap on the way home from Chicago. I took it to the dealer and they were trying to rake me over the coals, called my service advisor at home and he told me to get a second opinion, so I found Nick. Nick told me verbatim exactly what my service guy back in Michigan did. He was patient and understanding to my situation and didnt try to pressure me for the sale. Id had no previous interaction with this company and didnt know what to expect. The customer service was exceptional from the first contact. Nick fixed my sons trans am rear-end under a dealership warranty and did it the right way. No shortcuts just upfront honest and I was pleased with his workmanship. I went back to have my Ford explorer transmission rebuilt there. Had the trans fixed and reinstalled in a short amount of time and I have the truck back. I have told others about Nicks as well.
