There were beautiful cats at adaption room. I already adopted 2 cats 10 years ago and responsibility for their life so kind tough to add more right now. I just wanted to say hello to feline friends. Then noticed Adapt one get one FREE on 3 years old cats...... I understand it is tough to take care of them with volunteer but ... really sad feeling. There is $85 adoption fee( grown up cats) to run the business ( to rental space, medical cost etc..) and make sure the people adopt them with responsibility for life long with financial ( They asked questioners on paper with signature when I adopted 2 cats) 2 grown up cats together is more difficult to adopt now I guess.

The store is big and has a nice variety of aquatic supplies. My wife and I were looking to get some new Tiger Barbs for our aquarium and it was extremely disappointing to see tank after tank of what should have been live fish or no fish, full of floating or dead fish on the bottom of the tanks. I recommend if looking for any live fish to checkout the good variety at the Petco nearby.

I ask for help to find a harness for a dog and the lady helping me out was very friendly, understanding and helpful. She took some minutes away from what she was doing to help me out and I appreciate that very much. Thank you!Great place to get what you need for your pet!

The only issue I have with this store is the policy changes depending on the staff member. I recently moved to the area and have never bought (cat food) from PetSmart. I asked about their return policy at checkout and was told just bring it back opened or not! Even OPENED? I responded! Yes, we stand by our food! I said you dont know my cats! Fast-forward...cats didnt like the food went in to return it and a different cashier was there. NO we do not except open food! Which is it? So annoying 🙄

Id I could give a negative star I would. Called the day before grooming appointment which took 3 weeks in advance to get to have it canceled. No availability for another 3 weeks. They arent that good! Lack of groomers not ability to groom. And after 20min on hold and hung up on! Poor customer service. Going elsewhere!!!

I completely agree with Zilah!! If I could give 5 negative stars, I would!! It takes forever to get on the grooming calendar. Finally got on, AND confirmed my appt when I got the text message...ONLY to be called less than 24 hours before my dogs appt to be told that they were cancelling it because they were short staffed. The next available appt wouldnt be for 2 weeks!!! Asked if there would be any type of compensation and the associate told me that its something beyond their control. I asked to speak to manager because I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the associate said she understood and would be upset too, but that the manager would tell me the same thing. Needless to say, I will be going elsewhere. This location always has some type of issue and is the worst!!!!! I give a lot of praises to the scenic highway location and miss it dearly since I moved, but I will sacrifice and make the drive for the better service. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Heavy set Gentlemen in the front was too lazy to help me find a stomach relief product for my dog. With so many different products it took me 30 min to finally find the product that was on the shelf. He is miss informed so I had to find him to teach him of a product petsmart sell so next time he is asked about it, he wont dismiss the person quick like he did with me. After I finished reading the bottle to him he insisted that the product wouldnt work on my dog.

The staff is always helpful and friendly. We go for food for all our pets. We have a toad, an anole, a bunny, and two dogs. 😊

No one could tell me if a certain cat toy had been discontinued. Prices are very high, but great selection.

DO NOT USE THE PET GROOMERS!!! I cannot express this enough. We were nickeled and dimed for things we didnt even receive or request. Additional services were done without consent and of course charged handsomely for it. BEWARE!

This would have been my third time bringing my dog to this salon, and while it is not my first choice the other two times I did not have issue. However this time I had an absolutely unacceptable experience to the point where I felt compelled to leave a review. Not only was my dog kept for over 6 and half hours, no one answered the phone when I tried to call for an update so I ended up driving to the store where I waited for over an hour for them to finish her. Standard poodles take a while, I understand this, however 6 and half hours when all I requested was a very short shave? Absolutely not.Additionally, when I got her home her entire body was shaking so violently she could barely stand and she has never had a reaction like this after going to the groomers. I was in tears on the floor with her while she had to eat laying on the floor because she was so anxious but so hungry because they kept her for so long and she hadnt had any food since her breakfast that morning. I am terrified to think of what she must have gone through to end up so scared and upset. If I had known she was in such a state when I was picking her up I would have absolutely said something.I will never ever bring her here again.

I used to come here all the time and I’ve had great experiences here, but it was completely unprofessional of you guys to cancel my dogs grooming appointment that I book over two weeks ago literally a couple hours before the appointment and the next available appointment isn’t until June.. my dog hasn’t been properly groomed in over a month going on two I’m not happy at all

I bought a fancy leopard gecko and it died a few days later. The poor thing looked so malnourished and its cage was so dirty. I felt good that we were going to give him a new home. Unfortunately, he did not make it and we buried him in the backyard. They would not refund me as they wanted the dead gecko back. Why would I take a dead animal back to the store? Will definitely never give them any business again.

We have utilized the grooming services here for many years and their service has steadily declined. I received a call that my dogs were ready and received a second call 30 minutes later to question if I was going to come pick up my dogs. The person who called me was extremely rude. They have unrealistic expectations if they expect the owners to be there within 30 minutes. They claimed that they called me several times. I offered for them to look at my missed calls. Of course they did not want to see my phone log because they did not want to take to ownership. The person who called me had a different tune when speaking to me in person.

Came to look for a new dog to be friends with our poodle mix Charlie. We have one other dog who is 17 and she sleeps all the time so Charlie needs a buddy. The adoption people we all very nice and we made several 4 legged friends.

Brought my dog here to get bathed and nails clipped. Made an appt for 10am. When I arrived the scheduled groomer wasnt even scheduled to be in until 10:30am. Why schedule an appt for a time that the groomer isnt even working yet? They told me 2.5 hours. Almost 4 hours later and she still wasnt ready.

Personnel in fish department very helpful, and employees seemed to show respect and care towards precautions due to the Pandemic. Low stock.

Bizzy absolutely LOVED his barbershop visit today. Cutest haircut hes had in quite awhile. Also must mention he was finished in record timing, under 3 hrs estimated completion time.

I wound up having to go to the petsmart in Buford at the Mall of Georgia to get my new Guinea Pigs. At first the ladies my son asked to help us was a little flustered as she was busy. However, she was wonderful when she got to us. She shared valuable information about my new family members, helped us get correct treats, food, cage etc. I can not say how appreciative I am for how caring she was with myself, my family and the Guinea pigs. Great experience.

This location is not very knowledgeable on the care of the animals they sell. Went through two sick fish in 48 hours, one before I even got to the register. The employees are also very rude. The facial expressions and overall remarks given are not professional at all. You don’t bash a customer’s “ability to care for an animal,” if they’re just asking questions or for recommendations. I’ll go to any other pet store before coming here, because my business and money is not appreciated here whatsoever.

Horrible customer service called to verify if they carried a tank lid, but representative claims they can not do a product check and to use the app or wesite, which I had already done. If I wanted to just order something online with no assistance from the buisness I was buying from I would just order it from chewy. Screw this buisness I will no longer spend any money with them again!

Petsmart has gone down hill. Been bringing my GSD to be groomed here his whole life up until this point. Now bc he is older ( 11) they pretty much dont want him there. I understand hes old but I cant get his nail done let alone bath and a good brushing or maybe we come back for nails one day bath another?That wasnt even an option. Have bought many pkgs a couple times a yr to have him completely cleaned up an looking sharp but guess once they reach a certain age they just dont want to deal with older dogs. I get it, the younger models are probably more fun but you cant just forget about the seniors

All I can say is...The BETTA SECTION!!! There were so many sick fish. There was at least 1 dead that was already decomposing! The cups are all stacked on top of eachother & The shelves are so high the customers cant even see them all. There is no divider between them so they are constantly stressed. I had just visited the Mall of Georgia Petco down the street and their Betta section was immaculate! They even had dividers between each individual fish! Please do not keep bettas at your store if you cannot take care of them until they find homes!

I tried to buy a hamster, because two years ago mine had past and I had only had it for 6 months. My parents bought me it for my 15th birthday and I was excited to finally have a small pet to take care of. I fed it almost everyday, cleaned it’s cage every 3 days and made sure her water was full every day. I played with her and also bought a ball for her to roll around in. Today I tried to buy one, because I was feeling lonely and missed having something to care for and play with. The cashier was rude and the staff made me feel as if I was going to kill the hamster when I bought it. The staff asked me many times on why the hamster died and how long it lived. I felt very judged and I asked for a worker to help me and the cashier said in a risky manner “you need someone who is 18 to buy it” which I found a friend in the store who was 18+. Another staff named Samantha, walked over to the cages to find the one i had because I still have everything left from my hamster from two years ago, and she made me feel a terrible person. She said “well I’m very concerned because the hamster only was alive for 6 months and they normally live 2 years” “I’m just very concerned because I wasn’t very confident in buying it and your mother needs to approve”. She talked to the manger about me getting the pet. I also called when I left to complain about how rude and unprofessional this place was and the phone call had bad manners. I simply asked if I could have an email or phone number to the administrative office for PetSmart and she said “Um no” in a rude tone. I will never step foot in this place again. I felt very judge and now I am seriously angry on how they treated me.

The fish selection has been non existent these past few months. Cant blame Covid as Petco down the street has rebounded...

Their stock has dwindled. They had 1 collar for a very small dog, and very few fish, no birds, no hamsters, 1 snake.. sad.

There isnt much to say it is generic pet smart. Nothing amazing and fantastic and nothing bad to say. They carried the same product line every other store carries in their franchise.

By far the beat grooming I have ever gone to! I have a very anxious 130lbs mastiff who makes it impossible to trim his nails. Angela and Candace did a fantastic job with him! They were so patient, loving, and professional and got the job done. I tried 2 other groomers and the vet, but was told he had to be sedated. This has been the only place that has been able to take care of his nails. I will definitely keep bringing my dog here!

Went here to give my girlfriends dog a proper grooming day! The staff was kind to us throughout the entire process, even when our little lady was acting timid. They were patient and allowed us enough time to get her to relax. (Mind that this was during a busy Saturday! Kudos!) I recommend taking your beloved pooch here. :)

We, my dog and I, love his groomer Angela! She is so good with him and he starts talking as soon as he realizes where we are. He always looks great and is so relaxed after his spa day that he sleeps for the rest of the day.

I purchased my six year old son and our first family pet from this petsmart in Buford Georgia. I will never step foot in this store again. I have tried for 2 weeks to save this little fancy bearded dragon by feeding him by hand like the vet I seen twice suggested. Now since Im out of my 14 day window of return. I cant even get some of the funds I purchased him with.

I highly do not recommend the veterinary services. Our westie has just about every allergy and was in a bad way for the time she was treated here. They literally argued with us when we expressed our concerns after a year that their treatment didnt seem to be helping our dog at all.. and finally relented with a more expensive treatment. That was it. I realized right then that they were not interested in helping her, they just were looking to profit on our desperation. Went elsewhere, got options that did cost us >$250/mo, and now her situation is nothing short of miraculous and everyone is happier.The time The stars given are only given to the retail section of the store. Standard big box pet store stuff, but its clean, the staff is helpful, etc.

Love this PetSmart location. I purchase dog food online, and just pick it up at the register. I also use the grooming service. Kerstie does a wonderful job on my Yorkie. He can be difficult but she never complains. All employees are friendly. I highly recommend.

Got my dog bathed here for the holidays and had a wonderful experience. Normally my pup hates bath time and getting his nails clipped but the girls there took great care of him. He came out smelling and looking great! Will definitely go back again!

Upon entering the store to purchase supplies in the reptile section, I noticed that the baby bearded dragons had poop in their water, crickets so massive that no one in their could eat them and instead the crickets ate at their toes. I informed the staff and they seemed like they would fix it. They dont have many reptiles, so its sad no one noticed until I said something in my 10 min trip there. 2 stars because the worker at the register seemed genuinely concerned.

The staff is just one many reasons this place is excellent. Weve started taking our dog here for grooming and nail trimming services as well and even that staff is fantastic! Larger aisles, tons of items, huge selection, and even the vet clinic is a great addition. I keep coming back.

Ooohhh let me start off by saying THANK YOU NIKKI, I stopped by on my way home to get dog food and I left my work badge around my next. Im carrying dog food in my hands and apparently my badge fell off, I get to the gas station off 211 and realized my badge was gone that had all my credit cards, license and insurance card. I called the store and asked them to check the parking lot as well as the store, they put me on hold and came back and said they didnt find it. Im flipping out by this time so I head to the house and as I was pulling in the driveway I get the call from Nikki, she had found my badge after searching the whole store and parking lot. My whole life was in my badge and I greatly appreciate the hard work and dedication she put into finding my badge, there isnt many people in the world that would go to great length to help another person. THANK YOU SO MUCH NIKKI.
