I suffered a blowout on the hottest day of the year while pulling a u-turn in front of Mavis and Home Depot. I had to drive to the airport in 2 days and I really didnt want to attempt it in a donut. The staff at Mavis slipped me in and got me rolling again with a new tire in under 20 minutes! I truly appreciate all of their help! Great service and quality work.

Right now is a tough time to be in the tire business. I shopped around for tires for several days and went to more than 1 shop as well as doing my due diligence online looking for the best deal on a well reviewed tire. I ended up at this location because it is a major chain and I wanted the convenience of being able to go to any location for rotation and balance. This one is near my home. As far as I can tell, none of the shops seem to have much inventory and good labor is hard to come by right now. I know this from my own business. There are 2 guys here that do their best to take care of customers and speak honestly. I would recommend Chase and Brent for their attention to detail and their desire to do the right thing. In the end, I was going to spend upwards of $1000 on tires and service no matter where I went. Its the people that make the difference and that is why I will come back.

Chase and Brent were awesome! I drove up very close to closing and they fit me in and repaired my tire. They were both so helpful and friendly- even though I am sure they had had a long day and wanted to close up! Thank you Brent and Chase!

If you want to go somewhere where they are honest and not trying to sell you things you don’t need or up charge you go here!!My experience:Went to the car dealership and was told I needed new brakes and there will be a couple hundred dollars to replace. I decided to take my van over to Mavis because I suspected they were not telling me the truth and I didn’t want to spend that much on breaks. I dropped off my car for a free inspection and they informed me that I did not need new brakes as of yet. They said my rotors look great and the brakes are only 50% worn down and I have more time before I need to actually get new brakes. Shannon, Charles, and Chase we’re all so kind and courteous and I appreciate it so much that they didn’t take it advantage of me in this situation. I will be definitely taking my car there for further maintenance as time goes on. Thank you guys so much for treating me right!To Edit: Went back yesterday and they treated me like a queen! This was the third tire repair shop I brought my tire to be fixed. They told me what the other shop did not patch it correctly and he was able to do an even exchange for the previous service and did not charge me. Awesome people. Chase is the man.

I called this place on a Sunday and was able to get a wheel alignment done within 2 hours. I must have called over 20 shops and no one could do it sooner. Chase was so professional both on the phone and in person. I will definitely come back.

Great customer service! My wife ran over a nail on her way to daycare and she was able to make it to Mavis 20min to close. Chase inspected the tire, removed the nail, and tested it to make sure it wasnt leaking. No charge. No hassle. Will definitely take our car back there when my wife inevitably runs over another nail.

Chase was super helpful and informative about my vehicle. I brought my car up to get the brakes done. I didn’t have an appointment but they were still able to fit me in and get everything done in a timely manner.

I took my car in for brakes service and was told I didnt need new breaks. My vehicle just had alot of debris that was in between my pads and rotors. However I would like to thank Ms.AJ she is the best person in the world. Her customer service was was Great.

Brett, at the front desk, is very helpful and detail oriented when giving information on your car and service required. Hes honest and lets you know up front what everything is going to cost. This long time employee is very polite and makes sure you are satisfied with your service.

Came to Mavis to get an oil change along with some other things and was immediately helped out by the manager Chase who quickly brought my car back to the shop and help me figure out what all I needed/ what I needed to do. I was able to walk back and check out the work being done by Sean, the only mechanic working this day, and he showed me around the car and what all he was doing with the different tools and machinery. I started talking with Chase and Sean and both are great people with great attitudes and the skills to know what the heck to do when you dont. Definitely recommend this shop!

They were great! I walked in, without an appointment to patch a tire, they said it’d be 2hrs. In an 1 1/2, they not only patch the tire but re-calibrated the GMC’ computer to make sure the tire pressure would read correctly, They were terrific, fast & professional! The price was amazing. I highly recommend them.

I had two bolts in my tire the other day and the guys worked so hard to get me back on the road at a price I could afford. The manager Charles was very informative and helpful and kept me updated about any issues. Highly recommend!

Made a 8 am appointment took until 1145am because they didnt have the parts they said in stock and the mechanic was working on 2 cars at same time also found out lifetime pads doesnt mean lifetime because I had to buy new ones so a bit disappointed in that. They were nice enough but took way to long.

My girlfriend can’t drive and ran over a nail and the washer and we needed to fix the tire. We took the car in and had an amazing conversation with chase. The tire took 30 minutes and was fixed perfectly.

I came to town for a baby shower when my rental car developed a flat tire. Brent has been amazing helping me through this entire process. There was no wait: he had the car up and diagnosed and advised me to request a rental car replacement due to a bad tire. Our trip to the Atlanta area post TS Elsa was harrowing, with an 8 hour delay at the airport, misplaced luggage, and now a flat tire. But Brent’s kindness, cheerfulness and professionalism have turned the bad luck around! (This is also where my family have their tires serviced).

I had a great experience here today! Charles and Chase are the best. Very friendly, and made me feel like I had been coming there forever, even though it was my first time. I will definitely be coming back!

I can’t say enough about these guys. They took such good care of me! They could not keep my appointment on the day and time I scheduled so they rescheduled me. When I came in for my rescheduled appointment I was taken care of right away. When my vehicle was done I was told my oil change and tire rotation was free for the inconvenience of having to reschedule. I was not expecting that and did not think it was necessary at all but very appreciated. They truly care about their customers. Took car here for oil change only. The was told need over 1000.00 worth of work. Told they would not give the car back and they could legally do this. Had to call the police to get the car back. Stay away from this place. Update. Also come to find out they did not even change the oil. SO after sitting there for almost three hours and they say they changed oil. Told the police they changed it and was just not going to charge us for it. My daughter say her car still show 10 percent. Just got around to checking it do to birth of new grand baby day after this event. Not a drop of oil in the car. Did you take out what was already in it. Shady business. That could have blow up her engine. Here she is trying to get back and forth to work at the hospital and this could have totally left her in a horrible situation if we had not checked for her.

I always took my car to Toyota for any maintenance. Unfortunately my last experience with Toyota was a disaster. My car needed maintenance and I didn’t know where to take it. A friend recommended Dustin up at Mavis tire in Buford. I took my car up and got an oil change and he checked my tires and all my other fluids. He was very friendly very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable with him. I will continue to take my car up there for any maintenance thank you!

I am always skeptical of going to any tire/car shop because I’ve had some terribleeee past experiences and I am very picky. However this is my go-to tire shop. Absolutely amazing experience every time! Employees here are very kind and helpful and they know what they’re talking about. Today they got me in and out within an hour with no prior appointment. I was having a very bad day jus had a blow out and had to riding around in the heat to find a new tire to replace my spare. I knew I was giving off negative energy being that I’m pregnant and hot but AJ changed that immediately! She was very nice,funny and she took her time with me. I went to Mavis today because I was concerned that another auto service company (Suwanee Service Center) lied about my need to replace a brand new tire. I was told that a nail punctured the tire similar to a staple making the repair impossible. They subsequently recommended that I purchase a new tire. With that, I sought Mavis for a second opinion and worked with Chase, Shannon, and Charles. After leaving the rim and tire with them, they informed me that the tire was repairable and requested that I bring the vehicle to them to mount the tire.The spare was removed from the vehicle and returned to the appropriate location. The tire was mounted within 20 mins of returning to the store, and they mounted the tire free of cost. This was one of the best experiences I have had doing something that I genuinely do not enjoy. However, working with honest and down-to-earth individuals like Chase, Shannon and Charles made the frustrating experience a good one - Thanks, fellas!!

Mavis has consistently taken good care of my car and always told me the truth when it came to my repairs. They even worked with me to bring a few repairs to meet my budget. I will always bring my car here for oil changes and repairs.

Theyre great! They get got my car in and out and treat their customers with the upmost respect. Theyre a shop I know I can trust knowing there is integrity behind their work.

Brent helped me get a slow leak repaired on a company vehicle. I came in because we use them for our personal vehicles. Always helpful.

Sean, Frank and Cesar did an excellent job diagnosing the oil leak around my oil filter that a cheap oil change place installed. They do quality work at this Mavis location. They reset my check engine light changed my oil and had me out of there in record time. I went in thinking I might need a new engine and left a very satisfied customer.

BUYER BEWARE ON THE BRANCH LOCATED NEAR FRIENDSHIP VILLAGE IN FLOWERY BRANCH.This is by far the WORST tire service place I’ve ever dealt with. Thankfully a FireStone opened directly across the street which as far better service. Aside from being the most rude people I’ve probably ever dealt with, and I mean every single staff member is rude and dismissive, they don’t know what they are doing. Story: I got a new set of Tires for my sons truck, with warranty, couple weeks later got a nail in one of the tires. Requested warranty service, clearly the plug failed cause I was back in there in a couple weeks with a flat. Since then We’ve been back twice more cause the tire continues to leak. During the last visit, i dropped off the car early morning expecting to have it back in a couple hours. 2 hours later, no call, so I called to check, and was told they can’t find anything wrong with it. I told them to keep checking and testing cause the tire IS losing air. 3 more hours go by, I called back and was told they found the leak but are too busy to work on it… This place could care less about their service, their customers, and all around they should just get the hell out of Flowery Branch cause this town doesn’t need a bunch of jerks doing lousy work and treating the ppl of this city like crap….

I was in Buford from out of town doing work on someone’s home that lived nearby. I realized that I forgot a tool that I needed to finish my job. Mavis let me borrow a car jack for 2 hours, free of charge, so that I could lift my material into place to finish my work.Chase, AJ & Shannon went above and beyond courtesy, patience and trust to help me. This gesture had nothing to do with tires, and had everything to do with good people who wanted to help a stranger in need. These people has zero reason to trust me or help me, but they did. If they will do this for a stranger, I can only imagine the care that they would put into servicing my vehicle.

I brought in a flat tire and it looked pretty busy. Charles was very accommodating and inspected my tire to see if it was a simple fix. Fortunately it was, and they were able to patch it within an hour. Typically, a shop like this would require an appointment or you would have to wait a good deal of time. I was very pleased with their service. I would recommend this place!

This location is terrible! The manager is emotionless and impersonal they seem to have no organization whatsoever. I’m not sure if their short staffed or their just not efficient at their job. I’ve brought multiple vehicles for repair when it was a different company they bought out and I received excellent service. When Mavis took over it went all down hill. The location looks in shambles like it’s under construction for months now. It looks fly by night instead of a corporate company. I’ve also had to bring back vehicles after repairs because they weren’t completed properly. Not sure if I’m going to continue bringing my dealership vehicles for repair to a place that can’t seem to get it right!!

I drive patrol in the Buford, Sugar Hill area. Shortly after starting my shift I observed that the low tire pressure light was on. I went to Discount Tire and was advised it would be an almost 3 hour wait. I went to Mavis and explained the situation. I was advised it would be an hour wait .I advised that I would leave the tire with them and put the spare on . Upon locating the spare much to my dismay I was advised that the spare was flat. The Manager stepped up and decided to repair my tire . I would like to commend the crew at this Mavis as caring humanitarians. They saw a person in distress and went the extra mile and help !

Place is a joke, don’t go here if you value integrity, honesty and good work.

I started bring my car here around two years ago when it was still NTB. I bought 4 new tires and they changed to Mavis pretty much right after; the transition was a little rough which is understandable. However, they have continued to honor the NTB lifetime r&b, and the customer service has continued to improve over time. Today, I brought my car in for r&b and to check a nail in a tire. They informed me that the tire was not repairable, but they replaced it for free even though it was outside of the treadwear warranty! I forgot to get the names of the gentlemen helping me, but I am eternally grateful for their understanding. We definitely could not have afforded a new tire right now.

Had a flat tire and needed a replacement. They stayed beyond the closing time to get it fixed. Also they provide military discounts.

Mavis bought out all the big tire companys in this area and there are few competitors now, but you better find one because...6 months ago my wife took her car in to get the tires rotated (free under NTB who used to run this shop and built most of the positive reviews), Mavis found that the inner front tires were worn badly and recommended they be replaced. So we replaced them.This week she went to a nearby Mavis to get the tires rotated and guess what, the exact same problem. Inner front tires were worn badly and must be replaced, yes the new ones.Took the car to our mechanic and he explained that the root cause of the problem had not been addressed, the tie rods were fouled up.Thanks Mavis, my wife doesnt trust a word you say anymore.Ever wonder why monopolies are against the law?

Come here if you want unqualified people to mess up your car. This whole mess began at another mavis shop. They broke a wheel stud and told me to come back so they could fix it. When I returned to have them fix it I was informed the mechanic who was supposed to fix it had been arrested and they were going to give the job to THIS Mavis shop. They completely cross threaded my caliper bolts and wanted me to jump through hoops for them to fix their mistake. The shop that I let fix my car said they hadnt seen such a bad job in 30 years. Ill never return to any mavis ever again. And highly encourage everyone else to do the same.

I brought my car in last month because I needed a wheel alignment and they checked my car for free and told me exactly what was wrong with it and offered several ways to go about for payment. Fast forward a month later and yesterday I took my car there for an alignment and I was offered the Flex Shop option which is what I chose. Today I went back to finish the payment and my darn car wouldnt start so I immediately started crying because I was on my way to the dr and was already running late and Charles actually drove me to the dr and brought me back to the business. By the time I got back they had already ordered the parts to fix my starter. Shout out to Brett for that!!! When I went back to pick my vehicle up they had also fixer a mirror of mine that was messed up. Listen Charles, Brett, Cesar && AJ are more than amazing and definitely great assets to this company. As a single mom I work sooo hard to provide for my son and the way they went above and beyond to help me was absolutely amazing and I couldnt thank them enough. I just want you guys to know how much I appreciate everything u did for me. This used to be a good business when it was NTB, once Mavis took over the business has gone to hell. The people who work in the shop really arent qualified to do anything more than basic repairs. Mavis is also notorious for fing up your car. A wise decision would be to not have any sort of real work done to your car here.
