I was there for a bodybuilding event. Only a few pictures so that you can get a feel of both the lobby and one of the many auditorium. They could use a few more bathroom stalls.

This venue is absolutely beautiful. The concert I attended was excellent, despite getting rained out. It will be rescheduled, and I will be there! I plan to attend many events here.

It is a very nice place to spend a fun time with the family, very organized, the employees very polite and friendly. I recommend that you visit it!

Visited the community center for their outdoor country music festival in October. The hosted Cadillac Three - the best country rock band! - so we had to go. The music was good and there were lots of great amenities like plenty of clean toilets and adult beverage stations.We were quite disappointed that many of the food trucks decided to leave an hour early. Not BCCs fault but if was upsetting to think we had till 10 to get food and then discover theyd all packed up in the middle of one of the bands performances.

Great, loved the Homes and scenery prior to arrival. People were courteous. Lots of good craftsmanship from the vendors.

The free lawn concerts are great 👍

Was there for my neices ballet recital. Very nice!

Free summer concert venue

Nice outdoor venue, but as any outdoor venue can experience, rain cut short our stay!

Nice and clean welcoming area. The water fountain is beautiful. The inside staircase is also beautiful. The parking lot could be larger. But overall this place is new fresh and a must for an event venue!

The Sylvia Beard Theater is a perfect small venue. All seats have great sight lines, and from the balcony, you feel like you are on the stage. The grand staircase in the central entrance is a perfect location for group photos.

Very intimate theatre perfect for a music venue or play. Grand scale throughout with nice appointments creates a special feel during intermissions. Adult bevs doesnt hurt either.

I love this place! The concerts of course are awesome! And all the open grassy area is really nice.

Nice place for plays, concerts. Weddings.My two issues are Do you think you have enough street lights?? Kinda overkill on the taxpayers and why was the water on the fountains off so much this summer? Made for some rather hot days for some of the kids who have no access to pools or the lake.

Really nice and serene environment. The neighborhoods around it is quaint. The community center itself is modern and well equipped.

We went for a wedding, the building is beautiful. The rooms we were in were a decent size. Parking lot has plenty of space for cars. The staff handling our wedding were attentive it made for a wonderful night.

We love the intimate Sylvia Beard Theater. All performances we have seen have been top-notch, the staff helpful and accomodating, and the whole venue seems very organized. The theater (and the entire building) is beautiful. It is such a gem, right here in Buford. The most recent show, Damn Yankees, was fabulous. Cannot wait to see what is next.

Beautiful, the building is gorgeous, I just wish there were tables and food maybe some drinks for the older crowd (light wine) but the building was amazing. The crowd was mixed but definitely dress up for the nicer events.

Great location, awesome service

Unbelievably rude! My children and I recently attended a 10a performance at the Sylvia Beard theater. A family with two toddlers sat behind us, and the children literally SCREAMED and loudly cried multiple times throughout the show. The show was aimed at a child-friendly audience, but there is a difference in happy noises and screaming! The parents talked in very loud voices throughout the performance, and worst of all, the theater managers did not have the family step outside! Once home, I contacted the Director of the theater and the Buford Community Center describing our experience. The total cost of tickets for my family was almost $100. This performance was meant to be a special Christmas treat for my children, but was an absolutely miserable experience overall. I asked for a refund, or for comp tickets to a future show. The response was a brief, curt email telling me “the Community Center does not give refunds or comp tickets.” My tickets were purchased through Goldstar, but that was not purported to be the reason for the lack of refund; the theater policy was said to be the reason. Nothing can justify the Buford Community Center’s extremely rude response. Before attending any event at this theater, I recommend checking third-party websites for the cheapest tickets possible, because if your experience is as bad as the one my family had, you will receive an appallingly rude response by their (lack of) customer service.

Saw Mothers Finest tonight. Fantastic venue. Great people working the event. Needs more parking and safe crosswalk across Buford Hwy - street lights and blinking warning lights.I was embarrassed by the amount of trash left by attendees. There were no plenty of trash cans.

My kids love the fountains! Always have clean bathrooms. One of our convenient and local favorites in the summer time!

We only come here to play in the fountains. Cant say much. A few of the fountain heads dont work properly but other than that, the kids love playing in the water.

The theater group is terrific. Talented folks and great facility. Hats off to the City of Buford.

Bathrooms! you have them.but they are never open when I take my kids to play in thr foutains. so I am not positive that my kid did or did not pee in your bushes. 😳

After calling several times and being transfered to dead end anwering machines I decided to go in person to see the museum a Thursday at 11:30 AM.Beautifull building, nobody there to tend to you, museum closed on a regular week day ??I called right there on the spot, got transfered again to the dead end answering machine.So long for Buford history.
