I started out here a couple of years ago when there was a tattoo flash sheet and have been a customer since. Jess does amazing work and I have gotten 2 tattoos with her. The line work is amazing and clean.I also get my hair done here by Ashley and I love the fact that I can play with my hair color. The color always last and I get compliments on it.The facility itself is always clean and the front desk staff friendly. If you are looking for a tattoo artist or a hair dresser I’d definitely recommend here.

Every visit to Oak and Iron is beyond exceptional. The building is spotless, and the atmosphere is welcoming and happy. I followed Bryan from his past shop and his work continues to be outstanding. I found Patti this way and she makes me feel beautiful inside and out. They’re both easy-going right off the bat, I can be shy in the beginning and they made me feel right at home. The owners run a great business and I look forward to seeing everyone again.

They sell themselves as a safe space for everybody, even stating right on there door, but talk negatively about customers that come in and out both times Ive been there. Sure, they do decent work, but dont say youre this safe space when clearly are NOT.

Went here with a birdal party for makeup and hair. Staff was very welecomung and freindly, and even opened up early to accomidate our group. Everyone was very happy with their results, and got many compliments on how beatiful they looked. Very clean and covid safe. If I still lived in Buffalo (I left for work in 1983) i would make it my regular place.

Jessica is a wonderful artist and the energy of the people was relaxed and positive, I think I found a new home for my future tattoos after this great experience!

I went to get my first tattoo. I had a friend who recently suggested Jess who had done her last tattoo. I was very nervous and I messaged Jess Fox to ask if she had an opening for me and a friend of mine. She was AMAZING. She was so sweet, patient and understanding. She talked me through the entire experience. The tattoo shop itself is VERY clean and very COVID aware. I felt really safe and excited. I love the plants in the lobby. If you’re looking to get your first tattoo look no further than Oak and Iron and ask for Jess Fox. 1000% satisfied.

Lina is the best nail tech in Buffalo, hands down. They are creative, hard working and attentive to requests. I can never stop looking at my hands!

I heard nothing but good things about this place on facebook and Instagram. My schedule has been so busy lately but was in dire need of a cut. I called to see if there were any open appointments and Enzo was available!!! (Covid restrictions just eased a bit) The atmosphere when I walked in the door was very friendly, warm and I was greeted promptly. I love the service I received and my shampoo, cut & style. I definately will be returning for more services. Thank you Enzo!!!

Both Patti and Jacinda have cut my hair. They are professional, friendly, fun, relaxed and talented hair stylists. They were both able to take my ideas and translate them into reality. Cant really ask for more.

Apprentice stylist Kaylee did a wonderful job with a balayage on myself and a deep purple/red full color on a friend I was with. Her ability to take care of two of us at once is worth commending and I plan to return at some point in the future.

If I could give them 100 stars I would.Every single employee in oak and Iron is absolutely wonderful, they always go above and beyond your expectations.Ashley and Jess are both beyond incredible also, Jess has made all my tattoo dreams come true, she’s went above and beyond for all my tattoos.Ashely has done amazing work on my hair and has done some crazy colors that I would’ve never dreamed of.If you want a down to earth place that you can have great conversations with the employees this is definitely your place.

I went for the Friday the thirteenth event and was blown away by the cleanliness and professionalism of the shop. While I was tattooed by a guest artist, it’s clear to see why people choose this shop. The set up is amazing, everyone that works there is so professional, and they produce amazing art. I highly recommend this studio and will definitely be going for future tattoos and salon services

I absolutely love this salon!!!!! I get my hair done here roughly every 6 weeks with my stylist Mary Kate. She makes the time go by so fast and we laugh the whole time Im there. I have met most of the girls here and they are all soooo sweet and fun. If you are thinking about coming for a tattoo OR salon service, do it!

Went for the Friday the 13th flash sale and even though it was crazy busy, the artists were amazing! Everyone was super personable and had a ton of fun, even though they must have been exhausted. Will definitely be going back to try the Get What You Get!!

I have been going to Oak & Iron every 3 weeks for cuts and every 6 weeks for color since it opened! I would never trust anyone but Mary Kate with my hair, and every time I’ve been to the salon I’ve been comfortable. I’ve been toying with the idea of my first tattoo for awhile now, and if I decide to go through with it, I know exactly where I’ll go!

Katie was super accommodating & Sarah was just fantastic! First time there & I’ll definitely be back! Refreshing to go to a salon that doesn’t feel stuffy & people simply feel “real”. Nice job!

Oak & Iron as a whole is innovative, a salon and tattoo studio owned by two women who strive to deliver a safe space, a clean environment and a proper service. Truly a one of a kinda experience to hit Buffalo.

Such a friendly, open and professional space. Really awesome people that are welcoming and awesome at what they do. Tattoos, hair salon, microblading & nails, I dont have any complaints.
