I went to this location today to replace my router. Service was friendly and efficient, and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Additionally, installation help via phone was excellent.I have no love for the monopoly aspect of Spectrum (or its various prior names) but the boots-on-the-ground employees are great.

Do Not go to this location! One of the worst customer experiences Ive ever had!!! Paid $190 to put a Note 20 Ultra on a plan. They gave me the wrong phone. (They opened it to activate it...EXTREMELY IMPORTANT INFO). After going up there 3 times to get this corrected, I went there a 4th time to get the correct phone, they charged me an additional $113 and a Restocking fee of $50 because the box was opened. Remember, they opened the box (NOT ME)!!! Then theyre only refunding me $105 which makes no sense. All this because they cant pay attention to detail. Also, while trying to get this taken care of, the reps stayed responding to texts on their personal phones. When the rep went in the back to get the correct phone other reps opened the door and instead of her getting the phone, she was on her personal phone while we waited an additional 5min waiting for her. It took a week to get this straightened out.

Setting up service is needlessly difficult. Agents do not provide all the necessary information to help with the initial setup, service technician brings no equipment, but I expect that their billing department is world class.

Came to drop off my equipment before moving out of the area and they had closed early. I know I was cutting it close but I got there at 4:53 when they close at 5 and was really upset that they had locked the doors 7 minutes early. I am moving to a very rural area and it will be very difficult for me to get to any other location in a timely manner and I’m just very upset by the whole experience.

The customer service is very good and the service is very good but the prices are RIDICULOUS they keep raising them where its going to make me re-think about my service after being a customer for over 35 years or better they will not give insensitive to people who have been with the company for years and I dont think that is fair to hurt the loyal customers.

Terrance could be the best sales person of all time! He took the time was super knowledgeable and didnt make me feel pressured whatsoever! I settled on an Apple iPhone and have been extremely happy! I had a couple follow up questions and he had patience and helped me through them with ease! I highly recommend him if you have any cell phone needs!!

Almost as bad as going to national fuel, employee didnt know how to work the system very well, wasnt able to give me change after finally setting up my order and when I got home tryed to connect system no signal contacted customer service and after 20+ min. Informed me that I need to go back to the office and get a new box. Went rebooked cables and I now have service.

The entire service could be given either there at the Spectrum office or over phone. No idea why they had to split it!!!

The Internet service is inconsistent and shoddy. Within the same day I can have download speeds range from 80mbps to less than 10mbps. If I could get another service within the city limits of Buffalo, I would. But apparently theyre the only ones available in my zip code.Update: I currently have 77mbps download, and 10mbps upload. Yet Im on a Zoom meeting for work, and its crashed every time I speak. Please explain how my bandwidth cant support a simple video conference of 6 people.

Loved the fact that I didnt have to wait in line to make a payment. I was able to make my monthly bill payment in their Automatic payment Machine using Cash or Credit/Debit Card. Easy to use. Just put in your Account # or Phone number and information and how much you would like to pay..choose payment option and thats it. Get your Receipt and youre on your way!! Payment post the same day. How Convenient!!😊😊👍🏾👍🏾

Several times I get please wait can only see picture on the sides.then I have to reboot. Last might just went out,still wont come back on.. I have a sister recovering from surgery and no tv. And I pay alot for one small cable box like 95 bucks a month. Ridiculous then I have to go through this. ION tv freezes up while watching as well

The tellers, clerks at the desk theyre afraid to touch money. Was in there and they have a machine to deposit your money but doesntgive change its all a money grab and the greeter was no assistance just kept pushing use the machine SMH. Spectrum is the worst and this location as well. Now I have to find a location take my cash or my bill will be late and with spectrum billing cycle they will add on the next month of course like they always have. Cant wait for another cable provider. Avoid Chicago Street location. Terrible location.

I’ve been trying to switch my account to another person for weeks now. The Chicago street location lost my paper work, each person I speak to tells me a different thing, I’ve spoken to them 5+ different times over this issue (in person, phone calls, messaging on the site, emails) A representative even called me to try and resolve it and she told me she’d call me back a half an hour later and never called me back. I then emailed her back asking what happened TWICE and still no answer. Terrible customer service. Guess I’ll just have to cancel the service instead because they’re extremely incapable of helping me.

One of the happiest days of my life came when I returned all of my equipment and ended my relationship with Spectrum. I now stream, enjoy all the shows I use to and do it at less than what I was paying.I will say that the customer service people at the Spectrum store were very nice and were efficient.

I felt that the gentlemen at the counter could not be brother with me he was harsh with his answer and just wanted to move on to the next person. I felt so uncomfortable that I forgot my other question. I wish there was another serve to go to that would give me a better price. The worst. You better hope anywhere you move to that the previous tenants disconnected their service or you wont be allowed to transfer yours to your new address. Anytime you need assistance plan to spend hours on the phone getting transferred over and over and put on hold over and over only to get put on hold n hung up on when they dont have an answer for you and they know they are wrong. I spent well over 2 hours going through this only to be told that i had to drive 20min to the store to see if they posted what their covid hours are and then go in in person and risk my health in the middle of a pandemic to prove that i live there and the previous tenant is gone. My kids need the internet for school and to be in contact when i am working, spectrum could care less. Absolutely unacceptable. Worst customer service ever. If you get a girl named takia just hang up n try again. She was the least competent representative i have ever come across. Honestly just save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for service, the internet service drops all the time anyway.

Customer service in Buffalo NY is HORRIBLE! I truly believe the people in customer service act like imbeciles so people will stop calling customer service. Something as simple as a reset of a user code took 23 minutes of haggling on the phone and NO user code reset - again - WORST customer service EVER!

Spectrum news is the most boring channel on the planet.It is repetitious....uninformative. TERRIBLE!The news casters are boring...no personality...no excitement in their voices....just blah blah blah!If you watch 10 minutes of this station....things will be repeated at least once..but more often three times!!!!!! No one cares that much about the staff that they hear their life story ever few minutes!!! Totallyridiculous!!!!I wanted to watch the news and all I got was facts about the news casters over and over and over again! Really people! Do something to improve or remove it! It’s TERRIBLE!I gave it one star because I couldn’t post it without giving it something...it deserves a minus start.I will be surprised if this is posted...most likely they won’t post bad reviews.

I have had quite a few issues with my internet service. The customer service I received could have been better. The technician no showed on me when I left work early for my time slot appointment. Then they messed up my billing. At the end of the day, my pricing is still messed up and my internet is still having intermittent connectivity issues. I am currently shopping for a new provider.

On july 1st 2019 the main underground line was severed, spectrum made a temporary fix today July 23, 2020, yes over a year and after 10+ phone calls and appointments still not fixed. evertime they send a guy who comes to fix the line from the street box to my house (which isnt the issue) and he says i dont do the main line you need an underground crew. Terrible internet speeds since insodent and i have been paying over a year foir speeds im not getting. there are no other hi speed services in my area and they know it.

While I have decided to end my service with spectrum it has been my experience here that people are always helpful and polite here, unlike trying to get assistance over the phone. Only downfall is the wait time is long here at times. Which with a few changes they seem to be addressing.

Worst customer service experience ever! On a Saturday morning they have only two people at the desks working. There is one other employee in the back doing who knows what while 21 customers wait in the lobby. No sense of urgency whatsoever in anyone. One guy seems to pride himself on complicating matters more than what is necessary. Absolutely absurd!

First off Ill like to thank everyone for still working at this crazy time and even though its stressful for everyone this store made me feel like my problems were worth while. I came in to upgrade my iphone as I was having battery issues and Terence walked me through what that intels. We laughed about having the same name at first then he was quick on getting to the root of my problem...I had an iphone 5s.. Being patient with my lack of knowledge cause technology not really my thing and made sure I left with my phone protected by giving me a case and screen protector. I guess

Wait time was forever despite them being fully staffed at the registers. One employee kept talking to the other one about personal stuff when the waiting room was full of customers just listening. Increase in prices had many customers coming to cancel their service.
