Another great job by the Surface Magic llc! We hired Bob and team to remodel our bathrooms a couple years ago and their work was top notch. We had them back this year to remodel our kitchen and install new hardwood floors through out the house. They did not disappoint! Love the results! I paid extra to have a “slip resistant” bottom added to my bathtub resurfacing. Not only does it not help with slipping, it’s super rough causing scraping on my children’s legs when they bathe. I specifically asked if that would be an issue and was promised it would not. To be perfectly honest the entire tub isn’t smooth and the edges are not straight. we still have to use a bath mat to bathe voiding our warranty but that wouldn’t matter because we will be replacing this as soon as possible. Save your money people!

Surface Magic sure did wonder in our bathroom. We had recently purchased our home. The home sadly outdated 1960s look. A friend of ours recommended us to contact Surface Magic. Boy our we glad we did. They were very professional and polite. They gave us some good ides. So we started out having them work on our bathroom. the bathroom was pink and black tiles, the tub was pink and so was the toilet. We replaced the toilet. They did wonders on the tiles and tub in that room. We still cant get over the difference. They made it look like a new room.we love the work so much that we had them work on the kitchen next. We had counter tops that was an ugly turquoise color. We decided on a nice tan color. They had a wide array of colors to choose from. That made a big change in that room as well. We put in a new floor and painted the cabinets.We were very excited when we finished everything.We highly recommend Surface Magic to anyone needing there services.

So we contacted Surface Magic. They called before they came to let us know they were on there way. The arrived on time. Plus was very professional as well. They took all day to do. A friend of ours told us about Surface Magic .So we hired them to redo our main bathroom. As that bathroom was original 1950s decor. When the home was built. Anyway they refinished that bathroom in time for the Holidays. they really made a much needed makeover in that room.

We had an awful smell in our basement. We couldnt figure out what it was. Anyway, are we glad we found these guys. They did an outstanding job. The smell has not come back and that was done months ago. That smell was so bad you didnt even want to go down there. Boy its like a night and change. First of all, We would like to let everyone know out there, that surface Magic is magic, they did our old ugly counter tops, they were outdated and horrible looking eye sores. Just plain ugly. Surface Magic came in and now they look like model counter tops, we love to show them off to all our company. They love them. They ask us what co. did our counter tops we proudly said Surface Magic who else. No other co. is like them, and they travel far too. They are very reasonable in prices also, the contractor aims to please every time. Hes a doll we loved him. He took his time to make sure the job was done just right. And no mess. We dont know how these people write horrible reviews about them, Their dead wrong. Their just plain nasty people. Trust us, Surface Magic is a magical co.

I am very unhappy with the work that was done at my house. The first time my tub was resurfaced it ended up having dirt particles coming in through the windows onto the wet tub. Instead of being told what happened Bob tried to re-spray over the dirt, trying to cover it up. Of course, as you can imagine, it was in worse condition. In trying to cover it up I had drippings of the material used dripping within and on the outside of the tub. There was nothing that could be done but to further inconvenience my family by setting up another time to come back to sand and spray again. The surface is as if there had been sand mixed in it. I followed all of the instructions of how long we needed to wait before use. Within days the material began to peel off. I should never have paid for a job that left my tub in worse condition than before I had the repair made. I tried to get at least partial reimbursement, since now I have to get a true PROFESSIONAL in to re-do his shotty job. Of course I was denied, but he offered to come back and re-do. I just have no tolerance to go through this for a third time. My family, 3 young children and a daughter do not deserve another one of his adventures.I am hugely disappointed and would never recommend his work.The one good thing I can say is that the man was pleasant and he may have thought he tried. His work is significantly short of professional.

We loved the work Surface Magic did, they made our bathroom look like a new bathroom, they resurfaced the whole bathroom, in 3 days. Robert the contractor was very neat, he used drop clothes and made sure everything was covered from top to bottom, not one drop of glaze was on our walls or floor, he was immaculate, Very friendly contractor, great service, Were definitely going to use Surface Magic again. Call them, You won;t regret it. We should know.

This is a terrible company. I left a review regarding my experience and was contacted by their attorney shortly after. Long story short, he had to come out 5x in less than a year because the shower that had been resurfaced kept chipping. This shower was in a 1 bathroom house shared by 2 adults. Its tough having only 1 shower that cant be used for 72 after each time he repainted. The first problem started when he left all the tape and cardboard on the shower after the resurfacing. When I attempted to remove it all 72 hours later, it cracked and chipped, just like any other paint would do. When I asked him for my money back after the 4th trip, he told me that they stopped using this type of paint since it was known to not hold up but refused to redo it or refund my money. He also asked if I had dropped soap or the shampoo at all, and if so, it would void his warranty. Im not an attorney, but I would think this would be considered normal use anyway. He came back one final time before we sold the house and that time seemed to have held up the longest, probably about 6 months. We have dogs and one day will have kids, and it would have been impossible to wash either in that shower without the paint completely chipping away.I just read his response, what a joke. This is the first time Ive heard of 48 hours, I always waited 72, which should have ensured that this terrible product dried in time. Funny that that is his best response, and its different from the 300 other excuses he previously provided on each of the previous trips. His attorney never called me, she wrote me a letter and never received a response. One can tell his education level by his grammar alone. Do you really want someone like this in your house?

The job done to our bath was extremely sub par. They did offer to redo it but after 3 hours (a day off work) and a smell near the babys room that didnt go away until the next day we didnt want to deal with it. I gave 2 stars versus 1 because the people there were nice to deal with and did attempt to make it right.

Please read the update by the end.I am truly disappointed with the outcome of our bathtub. Our person had finished it off nicely to start with, and we were told to not touch it for 48 hours. Our family of 5 did not use the bathtub, and strictly did not even allow toilet use. The bathtub never dried. A week later, as any normal family would, someone needed to use the only shower-tub in the house. It was still sticky, and post-shower it was filled with hair, marks, and scratches. We continued to use the bathtub as little as we could, seeing it is very practical to ignore the stickiness in the name of hygiene. Now, a month later, the tub is still sticky, which is just the most ridiculous outcome. It is off-white, filled with hair, foot and hand marks, and peeling everywhere. It is as sticky as it was that first week. We followed our given instructions and gave the bathtub even twice as much time as it needed, and it was still wet, which means something went wrong with the application. Were going to give this company a second chance, as they said they will do it again and fix it, and UPDATE this review as we see fit.UPDATE, there is no mistake about the company, it s under my wifes name. However, they came in and fixed the mess. the bathtub in good shape now after the new paint.I just waited to make sure its ok this time.

I had Surface Magic originally do work on one of our Rentals in Buffalo NY. As the tub and tile in the bathroom was pretty disgusting. Anyway, we loved the work they did so much that we decided for them to also refinish the countertops in the kitchen as well.You bet, we will use them again if we ever need there services.

We had Surface Magic refinish our countertops. We picked out a nice color for our kitchen. Those old outdated countertops turned out even nicer then we thought they would. We really love how they turned out. It really made a big difference in our kitchen.

I had such a wonderful experience with Surface Magic! We had our master bath shower, tub, and vanity (all tile) and our two guest counter tops (Corian or something like it) reglazed. Im so pleased with the final product! The two guest baths had plain off-white counters that left the bathrooms looking eh, but they were both in good condition so I didnt want to fully replace them. They now both have a great granite look that looks amazing. Our master bath still had the original tile from the 80s so it was nice to give the tub and shower a more stone look and the vanity a granite look.Not only does the final product look great, but Bob was wonderful to work with. He helped us to pick out our colors and provided recommendations to make our bathrooms look even better.I would highly recommend working with Surface Magic - especially if you live in an older house that could use a little refresh.

I noticed there were people that gave them bad ratings and I disagreed with these people. I know friends, family and relatives that used Surface Magic, and were very satisfied with their workmanship and friendliness and professionalism, I used this co. myself and found them extremely friendly and caring. Very attentive and neat. Never left a speck of dirt behind, We love Surface Magic and the professionalism they showed, these horrible people are just nasty and hard to please. Surface Magic probably did everything to make them happy and couldnt please them. Trust us. Go with the best, go with Surface magic. How do you like that you miserable people.

They are the best Bathtub Reglazing Service provider in Buffalo NY

My tenants absolutely destroyed my bathtub...destroyed it!!! They put some kind of highly corrosive chemical into a clogged tub (I can only guess what), which ate through the porcelain, right down to the cast iron in some spots! I thought for sure I had to replace it. Bob from Surface Magic came out to examine the job when the other companies wouldnt take a look at it. He took the job and made the tub like new. He took this tub that most people wouldve thought couldnt be fixed and made it like new. The transformation was so incredible that I sent him before and after pictures, without being asked, and told him to use them in his marketing. I cant say enough about their work.
