The service is very worth the money for a haircut and shave. I will continue to come here as the staff is very professional, everything is very clean, and a great vibe all around.

I get my hair cut by Eddie and he’s amazing. I drive all the way from Wilson NY and don’t mind the 45+ min drive for a second, it’s worth it every time. He’s an amazing barber and a great guy, always enjoy my time here. The shop is clean and super nice, as long as I live within driving distance I’ll never go anywhere else.

Im not a customer, but I live above the barber on main street and everyday walk by this barbershop taking my chihuahua for a walk. I have to say, everytime I walk by theres guys in there getting top notch service. I didnt realize these types of barbershops were even around anymore. Not to mention the cleanliness, design and overall appearance inside is stunning. When Christmas time comes I plan to buy all the guys in my family gift certificates here. Being from Long Island, finding a barber in Buffalo has been a 2 year process up until about 4 months ago when I came in to Dark Horse for the first time! Eddie the owner cuts my hair every week and always shows the same passion week in and week out! Heard about Dark Horse via word of mouth, I walk in as Eddie is about to open for the day (I should have checked the hours) anyway, Eddie invited me inside, said they don’t open for a half hour and he has an appointment at that time. Instead of sending me home, he offered to give me a haircut before his appointment, my man hooked me up with a killer fade and an all around phenomenal haircut. Thank you Eddie, you’re the man!

Eddie has been phenomenal. I started going to him back in 2014 and Ive followed to him to his own business. Eddie has grown his business into a bonified experience. He delivers great haircuts every time, his studio is beautiful, and his environment is very welcoming. Its easy to see why space is limited!

The shop is clean, comfortable, and laid back. The barbers are easy-going and do great work.

Expected more for the price being charged. Would say the haircut was average. The owner was pretty arrogant with his skills. Him and his employee bragged about smoking pot. I showed up on time for my appointment but had to wait half an hour until I even sat in his chair. Worst of all, half way through he started drinking a beer while cutting my hair! I was too shocked to even call him out on it. Afterwards he didn’t show me the back of my head, barely asked if I was satisfied. I couldn’t get out fast enough. I was so shocked by everything that I played nice, paid and left. Will never go back for another cut. One of the worst barbershop/salon experiences ever.

The only place I trust with my hair as it is one of the first things people notice when they see you. It is always a great experience with great staff. Their hair products are also way better than the stuff available at Walmart and very reasonably priced
