I never go to the gym before but today it my first time for staring tomorrow Im so excited 😊

Gym is fine, patrons leave equipment everywhere. Gyms are understaffed and have a hard time picking up or enforcing clean up rules.

24 Hour Fitness is false advertisement, They should change the name to 16 Hour Fitness

24 hour fitness was excellent I like that atmosphere the machines are good I specifically like the fact that the staff is pretty chill and understanding

It was brighter and cleaner than I remember. The equipment is marked off for social distancing but the members still have a lot to learn about personal space.

I am glad to be back to working out, but this gym is very old, worked out on a treadmill for 35 min, went to use the dry sauna it was not hot, the steam room was more like a old country club stream room from 1970s used to loung not for therapeutic relief, not hot and no steam.

Now that the Sauna is open, its awesome

I do like the layout of this place and how the machines arent all in one room, but in different rooms. Although they arent spread out, which normally is fine, but now with the ongoing COVID and social distancing, there are some patrons that seem to be oblivious that thats going on, so they sit in a machine directly next to you, when there are empty machines in the surrounding area.Also there is always a line out front which is odd. If they have constant capacity issues, then that means you need to go back to the reservation system. The benefits to that is they can set the maximum theyll allow at one time. And then if you have a reserved time, you know you wont have to wait another 15-30 minutes outside to get in when you just want to run in, work out, and run out. I realize that the majority of people tend to not operate with much logic, and so youre kind of stuck with the poor ways that people run things. This place would be better if they added that in.

Gym facility is good but the staff needs to do something about the MOSQUITOES. I recognized the aedes mosquito after getting bit by the ich coming from my ankle. After a few minutes, swelling began to appear. The area found was the back free weights and middle section.

Love to be back after so many months locked down. Gym very safe and practices social distancing. Check in by the app and touchless at the gym. KEEP UP THE GOOD HEALTH AND BE SAFE EVERYONE.

Could be cleaned. But I can say that about literally everywhere I go. Plenty of equipment. Friendly staff. They are going above and beyond to ensure safety.

I arrived only to find a long line. First time here by the way. The staff up front was on top of the checking in. Place was clean and it seemed ok until I observed one to two patrons without a Mask. The one guy was continuously removing it only to place it back on if one of the staff members walked out. What surprised me was the lack of communication between the staff and the Patron! On two ocassions the woman walked by only to continue walking! Not to warn the Patron. Presence is supposed to work?As I turned around to the back of the wall a woman proceeded to do the same when she Noticed that nothing was being said. The staff member stood outside the entry door of the front desk observing her until she placed her mask back on! I noted this as by Now I am beyond frustrated with these 2 people!It only takes one person to infect everyone!!Are they clueless?? The woman and I made eye contact as I noticed that she was about to remove the mask again. She immediately walked over angrily (older woman)and asked if I had a problem? Really??😳She then proceeded to attempt to threaten me by moving up to the equipment I was on. She then proceeds to slapp my water out of my hand! Wow!Was Quite dissapointed with the lack of communication and attention to this pseudo privileged individual!

Great place to work out. Machines are always plentiful. Staff is awesome. Also on my first visit, I needed help with finding some things like the locker room and a staff member walked me directly to locker room and gave me a little tour. Turns out the person that gave me a tour was the General manager. Now whenever I go there, that same manager I believe his name is Derrick always acknowledges me and shakes my hand and knows me by name. Pretty awesome.

Probably one of the best gyms in OC. The equipment is pretty new and they are always finding some way to improve. Everything is also kept clean which is important to me. Great customer service. Staff is always nice and helpful. Manager, Derrick is super nice. Willing to give pointers about workouts and equipment recommendations. Overall, great place to get a workout.

Staff will attend to you if you are a diva or strong fitness person us regulars good luck. i spoke to staff of twice seeing cockroaches in different locker in last two days. staff responded yeah i will tell manager but in a sure let me blow smoke up your behind just to get me out if his face. pool and lockers maintenance and cleanliness is obviously not in management list of priorities

This location was my go-to for about 7 years until I moved 5 years ago. After moving back this past January, it saddens me to say that this gym is disgusting. Equipment is old, abused and not maintained AT ALL; I would say at least 75% of the equipment is 8+ years old. The free weight benches that used to be bolted to the ground are only secured with 1 or 2 bolts, now... cant preach safety if you cant provide the proper environment necessary. Equipment aside, this gym is understaffed and most members are completely inconsiderate. Weights everywhere, benches not wiped, attachments scattered throughout the floor...Come on 24, pick up your game.

Thank you so much for helping me! Came in to workout the other day thinking I was just going to do cardio. Was approached by a trainer and they totally taught me how to use the other side of the gym. I dont usually lift or anything, but you bet Im going to now! LOVE THE STAFF here, the gym can use a few updates, but you can tell they are keeping doing the best they can to keep it clean and fix what they need to fix!

My daily gym Im here all the time, staffs great awesome customer service, I really appreciate their resilience to deal with tough customers or situations that may occur. Great power lifting section with padded area. Lots of weights and machines to pump with. Tons of cardio machines for the athletes. Big arobics room if youre trying to practice on a hardwood floor or do yoga. half size olympic pool, nice sauna and jacuzzi. The only downside is that some machines (mainly cardio) dont work and take a while to get fixed like a whole month but there are plenty, the ab workout section leaves a lot to be desired. Restrooms pipe issues with leaking occasionally. Spotty WiFi at times but reliable. Showers a little dirty. Overall its not a bad gym but could use some tidying up.

The layout of this location is not too bad. One thing I particularly like is the stationary bicycles are near the door. Allowing for better airflow in that area when on the bike. Seems a few 24-Hour fitness locations do not run their AC past a certain hour at night. Although, it does appear this 24- Hour does run their AC more than others and is greatly appreciated. Even still 20 mile bicycle ride at the gym, leaves a puddle of sweat even with the AC.

Best Place Ever!

Horrible service, when asking for a manager there was no manager onsite and multiple staff told me I had to come back the next day and they couldnt help me. This was around 11am on a weekday. I had to ask them to find another location that had a manager and they attempted to call another store with the same situation with no manager onsite. Being resourceful on my own I was able to get things settled with a neighboring location. The lack of empathy and helpfulness would make me never come to this location.

The equipment is old and run down. The bars have no grip. Weights are never in the correct locations. You will spend most of your time looking for weights. The cardio equipment keeps breaking or will stop working in the middle of your workout. They dont maintain the facilities well at all and the place smells. The only good thing about this place is its location. Its right next to my house. Otherwise dont join this gym. Its garbage.

Not even one star get minus is fine.I would like to inform you about an incident that happened at your Buena Park 24 Hour Fitness Club located in the Buena Park Mall.On Saturday 03.03.18, I went to go use the StairClimber machine, not knowing the machine was broken, when I got on the machine it started operating on its on at a very high rate and my left leg got caught in the machine and I was thrown down the floor. The incident was so big that other 24 members stopped and tried to help me up, but my left leg was in immense amount of pain and I was not able to get up. At that point 24 Hour Fitness employee, Jenny, called the Fire Department and the Ambulance. My son and wife also came to 24 Hour Fitness and talked to Jenny and the paramedics and the paramedics helped me get in my car and my son drove me to the near by Emergency Room. My son tried to get a copy of the incident report from Jenny, but Jenny said she cannot give him a copy because it’s meant to be for 24 Hour Fitness only.This place managements is poor and not doing his job properly. Very bad dirty restroom area and no any machine maintained. Any day you check on fitness area at least 10 machine is broken and some machine even more then month tag. SPA area every weekend one day a tag out of service. Please compare with other area 24 fitness ?Still, I am waiting for my accident question reply.Please provide me corporate office email and human resource email address.This Machine manufacturer has no any kind of sensor for emergency stop and safety system.How can you use in 24 fitness?

The employees here are great at what they said. Very attentive and always looking to help out as much as possible. Great location as well.

The pool area has small flies on the walls near the shower and jacuzzi area and mens locker rooms are dirty and disgusting.Very unhealthy.Call the health dept. and shut this one down please. Roofs leaking.Pure negligence on 24 hr part. Sad because its in a nice spot.Its a pig farm. Ill take pictures.

The whole men’s locker room needs to be pressure washed with bleach and CLR. There is a thick layer of grime, mildew and lime on every surface. The pool however has four lanes instead of the usual two, which is nice.

Convenient location. Great and friendly staff. Very helpful with any questions and exercise machines.

Very old gym equipment and lot of it is out of service. Many treadmills that have some or the other defect. No lockers with number locks and no loaner locks offered. You have to get your own or purchase it at front desk. Only thing good about this place is the convenient location and parking. Pretty much everything else sucks.

Half of their stairmaster is broken for days now & some of them don’t even have a note that says it’s broken. So, be careful. In addition to that, they also have water leaking everywhere. Again, it’s been like that for days that there’s puddles around it. Their solution? Trash cans.The worst facility yet. Wouldn’t recommend going here.

Broken equipment that hasnt been fixed in weeks. Dirty facilities, including the showers. Too much crammed into this place, I wouldnt come here again. Trust me, sign up got a Super Sport and you wont be disappointed

As a 10+ year member of 24 hour fitness, I am disappointed in the management of this facility. The floors are always dirty, the steam room never works, the bathroom is rarely cleaned. As a small business owner, I don’t even think this facility is up to health code regulations. I have already taken proper procedures (informing staff) of malfunctioning equipment, including nearly half of the electrical equipment, and two months later it’s only gotten worse. Come on 24hr fitness, get it together and hire a manager who knows how to run a gym.

This place is great. Im visiting from Colorado and this 24 Hour Fitness made a me feel like Im at home! Even on vacation, this is the best way to start the day!

Horrible Customer service!!! Terrible place, ESPECIALLY FOR SWIMMING LESSONS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS!!! My son went for a Free Trail swim so they could see where he was at and if hed be needing One on One classes or if group classes were ok...The employee taking my money wasnt doing her job and paying attention to the monitor screen and didnt realize what my son actually needed...So were told group session for him is fine and were charged the group classes $85 plus registration fee...2 days before the 1st class they call and say, Sorry our policy is any one special needs requires one on one so you have to pay $229 not $85, sorry our employee messed up and didnt look at the monitor screen...Those were their exact words!!! They didnt try to offer a discount or ANYTHING to make it better FOR THEIR MISTAKE...AT LEAST FOR THE ONE MONTH that I ALREADY paid for they could have done SOMETHING to help with the mistake they made and after that month if I wanted to start paying $229, than that would be up to me. I guess I will take my Autistic son somewhere else. I recommend others do the same.

Disgusting restrooms.. theres like 20 trail mills but only 10 work. some of the staff members are nice and the parking is huge other than that it sucks. i cant wait for a super sport in Buena park.

Dont go to this gym in Buena Park unless you are already fit. It is not like Planet Fitness and judgement free. The people at this particular gym are mean and nasty. Planet Fitness is a good gym for people who are starting a fitness plan.

This place is in dire need of a facelift. Pretty much every piece of equipment is years old and half the treadmills are broken or not working right. The bathrooms/locker rooms feel like something out of a horror movie. And its usually too crowded to get a workout in, with weights all over the place and clients blocking small doorways leading into the free weight area.

I Love 24 Hour Fitness and this location used to be my favorite but a lot of the time equipment or steam room is out of service. It really needs to be update big time. Oh and if you need a manager theyre only available until 6. So good luck if you work certain hours and you need to go over ypur membership or cancel it.

Conveniently located, highly knowledgeable and friendly staff, hours are great for a busy person with an unpredictable schedule and the kids club is a huge plus!

Worse customer service ever for a gym,, and be careful if you add someone to your account., you might be be responsible for fees your add on member don’t pay ., when you try to be nice to your add on members and it’s a nightmare at the end ., I almost had a heart attack when trying to fix that problem., cause only managers can do that or if you want to cancel your membership you have to go in Monday to Friday on regular hours like on these day we have time for that ., I like to go to the gym to get my stress out not add more stress to my life., and if you tell them that they will call the police on you ., yes you a customer that’s how they fix problems there easy ha., just because you tell them the way you feel about them., but you know what I am so happy that happened to me ., cause after 15 years of going to that gym that’s how they appreciate my business., I will be laughing when this gym closed down., cause they pushing customer away., you think you only loose one customer naa., my wife my mom my family will cancel too., so think about that my friends., customer service very important these days., but now I am with “golds gym “ very nice gym on Euclid and Katela., best experience ever., I am very happy now., so there you have my experience with 24 hours fitness gym.,,

Gym is pretty good. Decently maintained. Could use WD40 here and there on some machines.Avoid the restroom at all costs. The stench is unbearable. Poor ventilation. Management should be required to shower every day there to appreciate how disgusting it is.

PLEASE SOME TLC HERE! I feel like 24 hour fitness has really started to let things slip on upkeep and cleanliness all around. I feel the same way about the Ultra Sport in Irvine (just letting the details slip!). Cmon 24 have someone really scrub down the restrooms and get some upgrades on the restroom and facility ventilation system. Use bleach! Everytime I walk into the restrooms, they smell absolutely horrid! Like fecal matter is covering the entire floor and the air that you breath is 90% human waste. I am not exaggerating here, please do something about it. You can actually see stuff growing on the tiles and it doesnt look healthy. I keep going because its convenient and there are gyms nearly everywhere but please address the cleanliness 24 hour. Anytime I run to the restroom I try to hold my breath. Thank you.

This is the worst 24 branch in CA or may me in all US, always pool and Jacuzzi out of services. Always no shampoo, showers all broken, water in small pool full of dirts and smell bad, always toilet are dirty, you can find germs everywhere inside shower green color on and around water tab, the location and the parking is perfect but i don’t know why the 24 management not paying any attention for this branch.

The staff is awesome, thats the main reason I go here.

Womens Locker RM Needs Cleaning & Repair Maintenance badly! After asking several staff for about 5 and 1/2 months, this is what 24Hr staff say; planning to close this site down, others say Theyre working ok it & the most funny one female members wont let them have a male technician in womens locker rm

One of the worst maintained and overcrowded gyms Ive had a membership at. Every time you add someone to your plan, that person pays the bill for both of you for 3 months. They dont tell you this until the surprise bill.On a positive note, Ive become very proficient at taking my heart rate while using cardio equipment because none of the heartrate monitors work. I also am proficient at varying my workout routine because all the equipment is usually occupied. On chest day, I typically spend 10 minutes waiting for a bench press to be open. On leg day, all 5 squat racks are full.However, the zumba instructors are pretty cool.Im happy my membership is over.

Wow! Ive been to almost all of the 24 hour fitnesses in the LA and OC because of what I do for a living. But at this location, the staff is by far the most welcoming, friendly, and helpful.

One of the bigger gyms that has a 4-lane swimming pool with another smaller pool adjacent to it. Restrooms were.dirty and showers are really outdated. No spinners for swimsuit and no plastic for wet clothes.

I was a ex member here till recently when I had decided to leave my old gym fitness 19 and moved here. I have to say, I am pretty happy with a gym thats open late hours and I can use the pool or the sauna after. The only gripe I have about this place is that due to it being a big brand name gym, it tends to get packed during certain hours. I suggest coming at early in the morning or late after 11

Needs .Major upgrade. Filthy dirty, especially bathrooms. equipment broken for weeks, a/c not working. Ill take a lil drive for a better one.

REVIEW UPDATED: As of 2014, this place has been a magnet for thieves because security is so bad at this location and the cameras are a joke! I have my reasons why I am posting this review. Cars have been broken into and bicycles stolen. 24 Fitness refuses to do anything about it which just enhances the creativity of thieves. Do not go there unless you want your stuff to get stolen. ---- I just heard someone died in the swimming pool. I hope they install cameras!

The restrooms smell awful! The machines are always broken! The people are very rude! I got a membership because it was closer to my house but I got to say Golds Gym is way better!

Very rude staff and Mgr. is no better then his subordinates. The gym is nasty the equipment is old and the staff has no understanding of good customer service or any customer service for that matter!!! Management is always absent, and when he is around he is rude to consumers!!!

Very convenient location with lots of parking.

This gym has loads of equipment with some state of the art, but missing some other equipments that youll find at others. The gym is fairly large. However, the layout is rather unusual. Finding the mens or womens locker room was a task. Some areas of the gym are cramped while others are very open. This gym could use more exercise equipments for the areas that are more open.

I signed up to have a trainer, was very disappointed cuz ppl were calling me all the time to pay for the sessions that i did not do yet! And Steven the manager gave me wrong information, he said I can start and just pay the following week cuz its cost 500++ for 10 sessions. So when I met my trainer, he did not even know that i spoke with Steven already and that he explained to me all the trainer stuff, so Justin again explained the whole process to me!waste of time! The following week, I’m ready to start my session was told by Justin that its not possible cuz I have not paid! But this is not the information I was told! Steven said that i could start that week and after 4 days i can pay!! And this finance department kept on calling me and said that i have not paid my 2 sessions and I need to pay $300++, FOR THE SESSIONS AGAIN THAT I DID NOT DO!! the best thing here is every-time I go to the gym, whenever I check in i am always blocked because of this trainer thing that I have not started yet! And when I want to speak a manager, nope they are all out at 6pm!! So I decided to put this on yelp, i would probably get attention or maybe not!! So before you wanna get a trainer make sure they give u all correct info!! Bad customer service!!

Most of the time you get charged for losing your key but they were nice and they help me to open my locker without any hesitation. The pool is bigger than any other pools at other 24 hour fitnesses

Its a good place yo work out

The water leak its really bad, water gushing out thru the back plate on the wall, it has been like that for months. The smell its really bad!! Restrooms and showers are disgusting.....🤧🤧🤧🤮🤮🤮How does this place passes inspection, this is a healthy hazardous because of the mildew on the wall.

Its the cleanest location Ive been to. There is plenty of equipment to work with and it never gets crowded when Im there.

I went to the 5:30 pm spin class today and never really got to do the class. I went through 4 bikes and they were all broken in various ways. Real BUMMER. So I went to the Cypress to finish their 6:30 pm class - SO MUCH BETTER!!!!

Not the biggest gym but fairly open and clean. But I will never ever return to this gym. The receptionist after greeting me without a smile, rolled her eyes at me. Obviously I was beneath her and she didnt hesitate to let that be known. That has never happen to me at other locations nor did I give her a reason to do so. But she literally ruined my workout and the rest of my day. Btw she was a mid twenties black girl about 55 with teased hair. Very poor attitude.

2017 Okay so i see all this reviews Old reviews that is okay Thank You for the reviews feed backs but some sound like there just butt hurt for little things. Okay that is there opinion and there feeling nice. Okay so n e ways week one just started this week with my husband. So far so good people been great Staff Jovoni is really funny and nice very helpful i really felt comfortable. Next week i have a trainer. Im pretty sure its gonna be very exciting. The lockers/restooms/showers are big lots of room clean! A plus. But one thing need to be replaced is the SCALE!

They have enough employees to keep the restrooms clean. The guys restrooms are always disgusting if I cancel my membership soon its mainly for that reason. Just disgusting. They also always try to make you get a personal training. Like let me workout.

The worst 24 hour gym Ive ever been to. This place is a dump. Staff is 3rd class and unable to answer simple policy questions.

Very rude staff, I walked in last week with a group of develop mentaly disabled adults who all have memberships and the manager told me he didnt fill comfortable having us there that the group was a liabilty then said we would be better off at planet fitness i owned my board and care 5 years and all my clients have been members for 5 years first time at this location however wanted to try a new place we usally go to orange mall. This location is filthy it smells like ass and smagma and most the equipment is broken also heard theres lots of fights here and even had a few stabbings...

Total pit. Antique equipment that doesnt work in all areas. The used toilet paper thrown on the ground in the bathroom is disgusting. This gym is a cesspool and I cant believe that I, or anyone else, would pay 24 hour fitness big bucks for a dumpy gym...

I have not been the most active member since joining 24Hour Fitness over 10 years ago, I need help, I will be the 1st to admit this!The point of a gym is to invest in a wide range of workout options and the staff is there to expand your mind on how to meet your health potential. I have nothing but good experiences to mention with the staff here, they need to push, thats part of a business, if you have no funds, stop trying to freeload or other complaints Ive seen about rude ppl, dirty water, thats everywhere in OC. What you need to know, is they dont have a basketball court like Garden Grove or an outdoor spa like Metro Pointe, these are things you want to know when reading reviews.

Very drity most of the equipments are out of order the sona room is out of order most of the time the management of this place is dont care about the customers concerns.

Thi s is a very bad fitness center its very dirty the shower missing doors and the machines dont work theres lots of tashkent in locker room and bathroom are dirty and smells bad and always busy with peoples it doesnt matter what time you go they play there video music on tv and loud very bad music there staff dont care about customers service.

Went in to get a membership but was treated like merchandise instead of being shown the place and treating me like a customer. My friend was there for moral support, who had a membership, and the guy insults her body and calls her rude as he was pushing sells on me. Do not apply or go here. Go to other locations around there instead.

This place really needs to service their elliptical machines and treadmills. All they need is a little service. Theyre just letting these expensive equipment slowly die by not keeping them fresh and afloat. Who is the manager anyway, and what is he/she doing?

This location is always filthy, the changing rooms smell like they’ve never been cleaned. The urinals are constantly broken and the sauna if a mess. I rather drive to other locations even though this location is only minutes from my house....

Stoling my money, u debit money and i can cancel the membership until i go to the gym!!! Is no contract, if u see i do not go to the gym for 4 months!!!! Why do yo want to take money for free!!!! Why your system let u debit money and do not let you see, if the people is using the membership, u do not even call to see what happen!!!

The gym is alright sometimes the weight room is messy and kinda dirty the bathrooms are very filthy and the paper towel dispenser is always out of paper
