A I have called numerous times through the years of service with edco about this type of stuff. Yesterday was trash day they picked up the recycle they picked up the green waste and left my trash barrel sitting there. Todays sweeper day and if I leave my barrel there I will get a ticket. Ive already left them a voicemail and an email about this yesterday. And I will call at 8:00 this morning when they open. Im about to start reporting this to the city of La Mirada cuz its getting to be ridiculous.
Customer service is so bad that now I give them maximum 3 phone calls for each request. If they don’t do the job that they are paid to do, I’ll send my complaints to my city. City of La Mirada has an app that residents can send their requests/comments/complaints to the city. I did it twice and Edco fixed it right away after they got the messages from the city. So don’t waste your time and energy on them, send your requests or complaints directly to your city if they don’t do their job that they are paid to do
Im shocked at all the low reviews! I have called many times over the past year - to change our billing, to rent a bin and to order large trash pick up. And today I called for a large trash pick up and sent an email to order a new trash can because mine was damaged. I got someone on the phone within a few minutes hold and she was super friendly and helpful in scheduling the pick up. And my email was returned within an hour scheduling the delivery of a new trash can.I have always found EDCO to have superior service.
Called to schedule pick up, I received a quick response and pick up was at the exact time they scheduled.
They are the best company. If they miss the pickup they come back in a timely manner and get it. Thank you EDCO!!
Called on Monday to pick up Friday. Two large couches, like I told them. No pick up, waited until evening, now too late. Have to wait until Monday to call and see what’s up. If too large, why not call or better yet, leave a flyer stating that. Website says furniture, not small, nor big, but furniture. Guess I’ll just haul it myself. Thanks
The drivers always knock trash cans over. They need to stop being so lazy and get out of the truck to move cans every once in a while. There paid a good salary. If they refuse to get out of the truck and do there job. Then find someone who is not so lazy. Customers are paying for this service. They should make an effort and not be so lazy. There always racing around. That’s probably why there always knocking cans over. I know a lot of people who would take that easy job driving a truck.

Horrible. I wish the City of La Mirada would fire them and get someone else. Every week I have to call because they missed one of four cans. Its not hard, just pick it up. When you call the customer service reps are nasty. You can tell they probably get treated poorly by management.
Normally pretty good. Large item pick up should note a weight limit because I put out a heavy piece of furniture and they didnt take it because it was too heavy. I called back and they said it needed to be disassembled. So I paid to move it to the curb. Now Ive paid to have someone take it apart. We shall see if they wont take it now. Very frustrated. You would think when they send their employees out they wouldnt be alone and have the equipment needed.
Forget to pick up trash. And when calling the office, it take time before answering and helping customers
Lady I spoke to regarding a dumpster rental was extremely condescending. Your knowledge of garbage cans does not mean you are smarter than your customers. Dont treat them in this manner. Customer service needs to be retrained. I dont expect much more than to be spoken to politely.
Drivers and customer service over the phone are both horrible. Do yourself the favor and never call them for anything or you will be disappointed. Completed disappointed with the unwillingness to assist residents.
They’re not bubbly and friendly. If you want customer service like that, go to a day spa. These guys are efficient and get the job done.
Horrible company. God forbid the driver have to get out of his car for ONE second to pick up some side items, utterly ridiculous. Their list is like a mile wide for things they don’t take as well. Worst company ever, you guys should be thanking your lucky stars for government contracts!

I am told they pick up house hold goods, call back in two weeks to schedule, no told, no items in boxes, only large items like washers and dryers. Household Goods is anything in a house, not just large appliances. So they offer me a 40 yard dumpster, for over $600. This place is a joke.

They don’t pick up cans and they toss the neighbors cans in my driveway half the time...it defies logic
I have never received an invoice but a lady called me and I need to pay today.I gave her a Master Card number and it was declined for some reason. I told her I only have an Amex other than the declined one. She kept asking me what card I want to use and it was frustrating. So I complained why she is keep asking for a card then she hung up on me.I am not only have an account but also a couple of munites from their office. So I could even drop a check.I guess she is the owner of the business.
Bad people treat the customers as liars when they are the liars themself
They are the only hauler you can use in buena park and nobody answers the phone. They are obviously greasing up the fat hogs on the city council.
Nobody answers the GD phone. What company does business like this?
